These are Xposed Modules that will let you customize the UI of you G Pad. They were originally made for the G2 but it has been proven to work on the G Pad because it is still LG's skin. Both of the modules are on the google play store and will work for 4.2.2. They all have Betas out the currently work for 4.4.2 but you will have to go to their respective xda threads. All credit goes to the developers, see the links at the end of this post. Support them and report issues to them
Do this at your own risk, Soft bricks may occur and a restore will be needed. I use this and have not had a single issue... ever.
Before you get started you will need to have root and Xposed Framework installed:
To install the framework:
1. Download the Xposed Installer APK and install it
2. Launch the Xposed Installer, go to the "Framework" section and click on "Install/Update"
3. Reboot
4. Done!

Everything I have tried so far has worked on my G Pad. Now my tablet and phone have the exact same setup, which is kind of nice for consistency between the devices. Has anyone tried this module along with XBlast Tools? I don't have XBLast Tools yet since I'm not sure if it plays nice with G2 Xposed. I would really like to change the notification bar icon colors.
Not working, app_process can't be installed, even after several reboots.

Go through the process again. You are the only one who has had issues. Install xposed (remove and install again), activate the module in the xposed app and then customize away
I confirm, this works great on my gpad as well as my g2
Working great here. This'll do until custom roms arrive.

works great§
FYI, G2 Xposed is now opened up for the G Pad in the Play Store, so you can download it directly from there. The OP might want to update the top post to reflect this.

try to remove and install
Hey everyone!
I was wondering if it was possible to remove the statusbar entirely but retain the notification shade. The notification style is beautiful on lollipop and there's honestly no point of that ugly bar at the top of the screen anymore.
I used expanded desktop before but it requires you to go through multiple swipes before the notification shade opens.
Is it possible to remove the statusbar but keep the "one swipe" notifcation shade funtionality?
One way I thought this could work is to reduce the size of the statusbar to nill or just make it invisible and remove all the icons but I can't seem to find a way to do either of those things however.
Any ideas?
I'm running Nougat crDroid with Magisk & TWRP for reference.
Are there things that let me:
Automize Notifications(i.e. dismiss 'Google Play has installed x' notifications after 5 seconds)
Let me swipe away any notification there is
Enable a very slight palm rejection at the edge of the phone(disable every 3rd pixel on the edge from input, for e.g.)
Have systemwide Vibration control(a list of all vibration strengths/patterns for each thing)
Have a Notification Center(similar to iOS, a place to 'store' all your notifications, but an app for e.g.)
Customize the Network & WiFi Statusbar/Shade icons(I don't like how turning off celullar data makes an 'X' appear, for e.g.)
Customize my Statusbar
Have a full screen notification shade(the notification shade isn't fullscreen in landscape)
Have a statusbar at the bottom
Control how the power button locks the phone(I'd prefer to have it lock 2 minutes after turning it off, rather than instantly, but still go to the lock screen.)
Control animations systemwide(turn off/change speed of particular animations)
Have my battery bar below the statusbar
Always have a black Status Bar
Have better control over auto-rotate
Remove the scroll bounce/reflection
Customize the Lock Screen
Customize the Notification Shade
Make the Notification Shade(and notifications in general) more compact
Have better control over when quick settings and the whole notification shade appear when swiping down
Customize CPU clocks and enabled cores using profiles(like SetCPU)
And if there are any other things I can use to customize, or any app lists please tell me(preferably not Xposed).
i haven't read all of your needs nut im pretty much sure that you can find good hope in Tasker

Will test out. Was just gonna install a new ROM.when this popped up. Thanks.
I'll give this a test after work, seems very promising.
Any specifics on the kernel?
Also, for anyone asking about the keyboard.
I'd just recommend using the open apps aroma package for your gapps.

Well that gives me ideas then. Thanks for the heads up.
does this support volte
Its Bluetooth and GPS smooth runnig its important for me because i use it in car.
Sir thanks for the great work..??????? I have Samsung Note 4 snapdragon run Oreo lineage ROM and i need enable DTS Eagle in my kernel ......You can help me ..??.. please[/QUOTE]
Thank you for the ROM! After installing Gboard, and adding my APN, it's working great! Love the Android P Quick settings!
One issue: I enabled AOD, but it does not appear to be working. When the screen sleeps, nothing appears on it.
Is bluetooth and GPS running? Does anyone tested yet?
What about battery life? Is it any good?
Is S-View cover supported? Does the camera work? Stock N4 camera or do i have to install another app to make camera work?
910G here
Bugs......
No APN
First time in years I've had to manually enter my APN, so that's a complete pain in the bottom.
SIM Death
Epic SIM Death, worse than stock LOS, and AICP (best)...and which I'm returning to.
SIM Death is not down to you, it's a common issue, and one that in surprised hasn't been fixed yet....it really needs to get fixed, for a phone... critical bug...
So nice effort, but those 2 bugs are show stoppers
Can anyone shed some light on getting "always on display" to show?
i need to know if AOD works. I will giv eup TouchWiz if AOD works
I can't install in 910T variant.
I have this error
Hi all, I've been using Xperia 1 III for a couple of days so far with nova Launcher. I'm very happy with the smartphone, but I would like to remove any sort of animations, specially the very slow one that occurs when using the swipe gesture to go to the home screen.
This is what I did
- developer options: all the 3 animation scale to "0"
- accessibility options: remove animations flagged
- Nova options: Appearance - Disable animations flagged
- Nova options: Appearance - App animation -Default
This way I got rid of all the animations except for the one that appears when going to the home screen by swiping the gesture bar.
Any help?
It's the gesture bar animation. You can't get rid of it. You have to root and replace it with another gesture app and then it's instant with no animation . At least that's what I've found.
