Odin Problem - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi, I tried restoring my stock firmware through Odin to my Galaxy Ace (S5830) but after hitting start, Odin said "SetupConnection" and never continued. (I also have an backup of /system in TWRP, but after restoring I rebooted the phone and after the samsung logo, the screen just faded out in blue.) I tried different cables and ports, reinstalling Samsung USB Drivers, removing Kies and trying different Odin versions and the oldschool method of restarting my PC (The phone into Download mode as well), but nothing worked. Help will be VERY appreciated !

Nevermind, I was using the wrong Odin, I had to use S5830 Odin Multi Downloader and that worked.

friends GS2 died...

Hello,
just let me start saying, I have read a lot here, tried a lot of things, so this is my last resort of getting it done, somehow.
My friends phone cant boot, just like that. It was ok yesterday and nothing was done to the phone. I can get to download mode and i can get to recovery (i hope it is recovery, its only yellow triangle), so I am not entirely sure. I have tried to flash CWM recovery via odin, afterwards I tried to re-partition whole phone, both with no luck.
When I am flashing pit file, the odin is stuck on "set partition", and when I am trying to flash only recovery, then there is nand write start, complete, operation failed...
What i tried:
installing samsung drivers (even with kies), kies was uninstalled afterwards but drivers kept
tried different versions of odin, started is as administrator
restarting odin several times, chaning cables, trying different usb ports, removing battery
tried it on two PCs
I have read that odin acts funny sometimes, so trying to change usb ports, reseting odin and this kind of stuff usually helps, but thats not my case. Does this mean, that this phone is just a good looking brick now, or does anyone have some advice? Buddy cant afford new phone right now. Thanks a lot.

\\HELP// I need help for my samsung galaxy ace GT-S 5830

I have a Samsung Galaxy ace GT-S5830. I tried to update it to a newer version of android so I installed a CWM, I installed the 6.0.4.7 I think but now I have a blue screen when ever I try to get into the recovery mode. so I still tried to intall the last version of android regardless the blue screen using another post where someone explain how to navigate in it. I've manage to do it but now my phone won't turn on (when I try to boot it, it stuck into the phone name screen) I tried to do a factory reset and cache reset and etc. via the cwm but it fixed nothing. So I decided to install the factory version of android that came with the phone with odin but when I put the phone in the download mode, the phone is not recognized by odin and a windows text box open in the bottom right corner saying: USB device not recognized (I run windows 10). I tried installing the phone's usb drivers and kies but nothing, I tried a different cable, different computer, different usb ports, but still nothing. I also tried with a samsung galaxy ace IIx GT-S7560m and it worked perferctly fine. Im out of ressources and i've tried everything to get this damn phone up and running, PLEASE help me, I don't know what to do anymore

Samsung Galaxy sg2 GT-I9100 download mode What next?

Hi and please help fellow Samsung users
I have a Samsung Galaxy sg2 GT-I9100
One morning I woke up and my sg2 wouldn’t boot past the Samsung screen.
It won’t go to the recovery mode only download mode
I can only get to download mode
When I connect the phone by usb I get a blue sign in Odin It does show up in Odin in the coms
I have tried to flash it with Odin with 5 stock roms and Odin shows cache and fails every time.
I have removed all traces of kies and rebooted and the usb cable is also fine, I have also tried different versions of Odin to no avail
My question is what can or should I try next?
Please advise
