I've been trying to downgrade the firmware on ANE-LX3 -ANE-L23 with a locked bootloader. I've used the firmware C605 to successfully downgraded it to 8.0.0.148. Unfortunately, that is still to high for DC unlocker and HCU to read the bootloader code. There is a lower firmware available for this phone that I found in FF but I'm not able to downgrade it. I tried renaming files without success. I was wondering if anyone has this type of phone and if it is possible to downgrade it?
EDIT: 5/9/19 I noticed this thread has become a bit popular and thought I should updated it. Yes, It is possible to downgrade, and unlock the bootloader for ANE-LX3. Thanks to the help of Bryan stelios. I, however, only have the L23 (C605)variant and I'm not sure if it'll work on other variants. You have to pay 4 euros for DC Unlocker to the read bootloader

download the dload folder from the links above.
place it on the root of your sd card.
Press volume + and - and power button until starts installing firmware.
You might need to do a factory reset upon restart.
Go into settings and enable the following
USB debugging - activated
OEM unlock - I do not remember, search in Google if you have to deactivate it, or activate so that you do not bother the FRP
and that's it, that's how you downgrade to a low firmware that can be used with DC unlocker.
there are many guides to unlock the bootloader see here.
https://forum.xda-developers.com/hu...omplete-bootloader-unlock-root-guide-t3881779
But basically this is what happens next
Use DC Unlocker to read the bootloader. (Save this number!!)
unlock the bootloader by going into fastboot and then using the code (see link above to do that)
Once the bootloader is unlock you can restore the firmware in many ways, the way i did it was restoring it with the firmware I downloaded for the C605 variant from androidhost.ru restored firmware - update to latest update via settings, installed twrp and magisk and boom you are done.
ANE-LX3 8.0.0.131 (C605)
I understand that this is the right one! You can tell me how it is done! I do not know how to degrade this model

Normally, extracting the files in the dload folder works. or that's how it worked in a previous Honor 6x device I had. Unfortunately the Update.app file for this model is larger than the FAT32 4GB size limit. Dload does not work with Exfat. it fails at 5%. I only been able to used firmware for downgrade from Androidhost.ru but there is not firmware lowered than 148(C605) available. but the 131(C605) is available in Firmware finder. Does anyone know of a method of using the Firmware finder to downgrade for this model? If not, I might just returned this phone and look for an ANE-LX1.
https://forum.xda-developers.com/hu...omplete-bootloader-unlock-root-guide-t3881779
I have made a guide with the right firmware etc.
Yes, but it only applies to the ANE-LX1. the firmware used for downgrade is the one available at the androidhost.ru. the lowest firmware version there is for the ANE-L23(C605) is 148. This is too high for HCU/Chimeratool to read the bootloader code. I'll be returning this phone to opt for a ANE-LX1. your guide looks great and well explained. Thanks.

you can by using the firmware files at androidhost.ru. they even have a readme file on how to used them. basically you just copy the dload folder on the sd card. I haven't figure out how downgrade using the Firmware finder files.

Did you read the updated post? I am the OP, I tried it on my ANE-LX3/ANE-L23 and it worked. Bryan Stelios also tried it and it worked for him. There's a Youtube video with the steps linked in the description. I can only confirmed it works on the (C605). This is to bring the phone to a low enough firmware that can be used with DC Unlocker to read the bootloader, that you can use to unlock the phone.
Can someone repost links? The google drive link is down and the file is too large for mega.
EDIT: LX3 here managed to download the mega link with assistance from a 3rd party program and with that got the bootloader code with dcunlocker
C:\Android\platform-tools>fastboot oem unlock mycodewashere
(bootloader) The device will reboot and do factory reset...

Ok... So I have tried all the possible ways of rooting my phone V10 H960A but failed. I cant unlock my bootloader because my phone is UAE Middle East variant and the LGE official bootloader unlock site says that it isn't allowed to be bootloader unlocked. All I want is the unlock.bin for unlocking my bootloader... All I am thinking is that if anybody having a european variant which can be officially bootloader unlocked, can share his unlock.bin file with me so I can unlock my phone bootloader. Please anybody? Can you help???

Dude this - unlock.bin is the Whole game....
No one has this file ... Every body wants to unlock bootloader
But... Till now now way is found...
No official support I think...

The Unlock.bin File is generated by your IMEI Number. It's only for one Phone, Your's. No other Phone in the hole World would use it or unlock it. Have u proof a VPN? And then try to Unlock the Bootloader on the LG Site? What is if you try to Sideload? Have you look of existing Tools or a App that can do it? What Model is Your V10? My Model is h960a with the Android 7 ATR Turkey Rom.
Write us if you find anything in the internet.
One Question to you, why you have too Unlock your V10? If you Unlock that Bootloader and Flash a Custom Rom that Second Display won't work either and the Google Play Store have a new Security Software in the Store that control's if your Smartphone has Root and Custom Rom installed.
If that happens, the Play Store won't give you any App or Game to download. And, for Nougat don't exist a Tool or anything to Root that V10 yet.
If you find anything, please tell us here and Post it to all the Users they also have or had that same Problem like you...

Oh, it's really [emoji22] i think. I don't know that only the h960a Modell is Supported. I don't think that LG the Unlock Models Upgrades to your Model and the other Models. Have you 64GB of ROM installed @ your V10? Have you think about to change only the Motherboard of the V10? It's a question about the Price but, that is a Idea i think or what is your thinking about?

I wanna unlock my bootloader because around 80% of the forums on rooting V10 H960A suggest a pre-unlocked bootloader before proceeding to the "ROOTING" process. I cant get my phone unlocked. I have been trying since last semester when I purchased this phone. I cant a f******g solution to this UAE model. Damn you LG.. Your policy sucks big time. I wont go for another LG phone ever in my life. I think I have tried doing this LGUP flashing thingy with 32GB ROM, but then the phone gets stucked at LG BOOTSCREEN or continously keep on bootloop and reboot loop.... Can you suggest some working Android 6.0 pre-rooted rom for my phone variant ????

Phone calls are disabled on EE UK firmware KOB-L09C238B002 (text works). No Dialer and it does not work with 3rd party or google dialers. Confirmed to be working on O2 UK (KOB-L09C105B003).
Quick info for 1st timers
Before rooting, you need to unlock bootloader for any Huawei / Honor devices.
Once you got the code Download\Install Minimal ADB and Fastboot
Now connect your Huawei device to the PC with a USB cable. (Give it required permission)
Boot your Huawei device into bootloader mode using the following command:
Code:
adb reboot bootloader
Once your device is in bootloader mode, issue the following command to unlock bootloader:
Code:
fastboot oem unlock your-unlock-password
Use the Vollume Up/Down key to select yes and power key to confirm - bootloader is unlocked now and phone will reset.
TOOLS

AGS-L09 - Huawei MediaPad T3 10
Returned the HUAWEI MediaPad 8" T3 4G (Model KOB-L09, Android 7/) tablet now but gone crazy and bought a Brand New T3 10" from ebay (AGS-L09, Firmware AGS-L09C127B031 CUSTC127D002). This is on Vodafone UK Network but same issues as EE - no dialer. srsroot says it can be rooted but bit risky as I have never used that tool before, especially when I am unable to find any non Chinese FULL firmware yet. Any one tried this tool before?
I have a feeling that all the UK network remove the dialer (most likely using the same firmware) - wondering which firmware (English) supports phone calls (review on notebookcheck.net says its actually quite good). I guess oeminfo is needed to flash a different regional firmware?
Man I'm in the same boat as you're I need to root my Huawei AGS-L09 but no avail hope some day we can find a way to do it with the help of the xda genius members!
By the way I can make phone calls on mine
Thanks Mercer99, as per other thread, appreciate it (for your device security, can you remove the image as this has your IMEI)- we have the same model, but different firmware.
AGS-L09C199B002 is “Saudi Arabia Oman Kenya Cameroon Jordan Qatar Ghana Android 7.0 EMUI 5.1” region.
AGS-L09C127B031 is “Greece Hungary United Kingdom Nonspecific Android 7.0_EMUI” . The dialer/calling function is disabled on this firmware - confirmed on Vodafone and EE network.
Is there any way you can extract the OEMINFO from your device and share it with us. This should enable me to debrand the phone if I can find your firmware (downloaded EUROPEAN version with Firmware finder already – so really need an European OEMINFO).
My phone is still locked to Vodafone so I am not sure whether I can flash the firmware or even need root to flash a different OEMINFO (bootloader is unlocked already).
Rooted
Took a risk and its rooted now - Magisk v14.0 installed fine and seems to be working (need to test further). Also, Vodafone unlocked the device now for me
Challenge now is to debrand so as to enable functions which has been disabled by Vodafone (namely calling).
Would appreciate if anyone can help - need OEMINFO from another region so as to change the firmware, especially European one or even other UK network who does not disable calling.
Could not contain myself…. In my quest to debrand so I can have a dialer/phone calling function, downloaded a firmware (either from FF Team or on the internet), tried flashing system.img file to see if it installs the dialer as it would not install extracted ones and it did not work. So tested with the boot.img and it did work but phone kept rebooting to eRecovery.
Restoring from TWRP (incomplete/untested) backup did not work. Can’t install any other regional firmware because of OEMINFO. eRecovery can’t find any firmware. The only thing – TWRP/Stock Recovery, eRecovery or bootloader!
Chatted with Huawei support and they won’t give me a link to download the firmware – want me to send for repair, which I don’t really want to – too much hassle and they may end up blaming me anyway….lol He agreed to upload one to their website if he can find one.
I would appreciate if anyone can give me an OEMINFO or link to EUROPEAN firmware with a dialer….. I think European one is AGS-L09C127B031CUSTC127D002 – would appreciate if anyone can share the file with me.
Managed to source the Vodafone UK now firmware now - thanks to combinefile.com
The only think remaining is to enable the enable the dialer now – can someone help? Either a guide to enable within Vodafone firmware or share an OEMINFO and detail of a UK/European firmware that has a dialer enabled (i.e. can make calls) would be much appreciated.

KOB-L09 TWRP Here - I should be getting a new KOB-L09 to play end of this week,
In case this info is useful to anyone, I just got one of these from O2 and the dialler is preinstalled on the device. I've not tried using a regular SIM to make calls from it but the feature doesn't seem to be blocked. I can open the dialler and see the keypad etc.
Not a bad little tablet this, it needs an update to the latest security patches as it's still on July and the default launcher is crap (easy to install Nova of course) but otherwise very good for the price having Android 7.0, a Snapdragon, and LTE for £100. Stuck a MicroSD in there and filled it with movies to watch on the go.
Hexgor, can you confirm the firmware version and are you able to upload the dialer apk files for us, may be it just needs to be installed....thanks
Thanks

I have a dialler and I am currently on Android 7.0 (EMUI 5.1)..Will you say what is OEM info?Do you mean build number....it is KOB-L09C199B003...
Is anyone with the most recent firmware using that exact same model?
i've heard this is the least popular model, thus being the one used on the u.s exclusively.
my model its Mate 10 pro (BLA-A09)
and im currently running on 8.0.0.123 (C212)
March Security update.
Im 3 months old on updates, why is this happening? Can i upgrade my firmware without bricking my device? FunkyHuawei says that BLA A09 had issues with this procedure before.

Just got the same model phone, which I purchased in the US. Your region code is different than mine, mine is C567, which matches the firmware listed on firmware finder for this model. I am on 8.00.112 but the security patch is April? I couldn't find any firmware listed for the BLA-09 with that region code. There is discussion on out of region phones not receiving OTA's?

Looks like your phone is from ATT Mexico. I have the same model and I can recommend two things, the first is that you do not try to rebrand to another model, and the second is that you can do it to a09c567 but honestly not worth it because you can not return to C212 if you need to take it to warranty because there is no firmware for C212. So from my experience I recommend you wait for some update although it takes a long time.

Yeah, you're right. I bought it at ATT México, then i just asked them to free the networking and changed from carrier, will that affect my phone in any ways?

*** Rebranding USA Huawei Mate 10 Pro (BLA-A09) ***

Dear FunkyHuawei,
I read what you wrote about "rebranding" on https://funkyhuawei.club/rebranding
Are we -USA mate 10 pro owners- damned? Do we have any alternative besides waiting for future Huawei's OTA
Update?
Thank you very much, excuse my poor english!

The BLA-A09 cannot be rebranded to BLA-L29 or BLA-L09 or BLA-AL00 — it can only be rebranded to other regional
variants of BLA-A09 (for example between Mexico/US variants is possible)
So yes — you’re pretty much stuck until there’s a new update

Do not rebrand the BLA-A09!
I just recovered with a lot of sacrifice a Mate 10 Pro from a client who tried to do the rebrand.
Now, I need the NV partition and the Oeminfo of a Mate 10 Pro BLA-A09 to finish repairing the phone.

This is the official support thread for FunkyHuawei on the P30 Pro.
FunkyHuawei is a paid service which provides tools and infrastructure which can be used to update or unbrick your P30 Pro.
Generally it's useful for updating to a version of your own choice rather than waiting for OTAs.
Today (26 April), P30 Pro support was added to FunkyHuawei via the HiSuite method (which can be found in the instructions page).
The below firmwares are available for installation, from the VOG-Global section.
VOG-LGRP2-OVS 9.1.0.109
VOG-LGRP2-OVS 9.1.0.121
VOG-LGRP2-OVS 9.1.0.122
VOG-LGRP2-OVS 9.1.0.124
VOG-LGRP2-OVS 9.1.0.131
VOG-LGRP2-OVS 9.1.0.136
VOG-LGRP2-OVS 9.1.0.140
VOG-LGRP2-OVS 9.1.0.153
VOG-LGRP2-OVS 9.1.0.156
VOG-LGRP2-OVS 9.1.0.161
VOG-LGRP2-OVS 9.1.0.178
If your CUST is C636, C605, C185, C432, C10, or C431, your CUST will be kept the same.
If you have a different CUST number, it will default to C636.
If you previously installed and want to return to your old CUST number listed below, just install again.
(The above is updated as of 4/30)
Those having any issues with installations on the P30 Pro are welcome to post here.
Note that rebranding (changing the region from Chinese to International, for example) is not available at present. Bootloader codes are also currently not available at present.
Installation and unbricking are available via the aforementioned HiSuite method.

Choose from the VOG-Global section.
VOG-Global section works for any VOG-L29, VOG-L09, or VOG-L0C.

None of the number are important for the P30 Pro. If it's VOG-L29 like yours is, or VOG-L09, or VOG-L0C, for any of the various variants, you can install from the LYA-Global section.

If you have an active subscription you do not need to buy credits. You can use the installation feature all you want during the validity of the subscription.

Okay sweet thanks.
Edit: Is the .140 file same as the OTA size ie +-500mb or is it full firmware and will it wipe my phone?
Thanks again

erecovery doesn’t work on emui 9 and later. You need to use hisuite method.
If you have a pass and install isn’t working in hisuite it’s likely tied to a different phone. One pass is tied to one phone.
how do i know what device i'm tied to ?
---------- Post added at 04:26 AM ---------- Previous post was at 04:22 AM ----------
i also have a funkyshop purchase tied to my account which is why i have 999 credits
stuck at 5% installing update on phone. Everything downloaded successfully but when it reaches the last part, hisuite stops and on the phones it shows installing update , 5% .
edit : re-did it and its fine now, updating. Will update back here shortly.
edit : update successful and am now on .140
So, in the future, will i still be able to receive OTA ?
Thanks @duraaraa
I'm on C185.
By going to C636 - I'm killing my OTA Function, Isn't it ?

Can't be sure. Huawei has changed the OTA process in the P30 series, so it's untested. It should probably be possible to go back to C185 using eRecovery though.

Generally, no. Bootloader remains locked, no reason for it to void the warranty. It's just installing an update package.
I seem to be stuck at the 5% installing as well. My VOG-L29 was purchased through FunkyHuawei and through email this morning I was told the subscription is active. When I log in I can select the firmware, everything seemed to work correctly installing HiSuite 9.0.2.301 and then running FHHiSuiteInstaller.exe. But when I try the System Recovery it always fails at installing system and leaves the phone showing "5% Installing Update".
Your currently selected firmware is VOG-LGRP2-OVS 9.1.0.140
You have 999 credits. You may install firmware.
You are on a pass which will expire 2024-04-26 07:22:09.418570 (GMT+9).
