Hmm, since this is based on crDroid's source, the problem may lie there. Since those cores stay at 1555 the cpu temp stays relatively high as well, which isn't good for these devices (with the BLOD and all). Maybe @voidz777 can look into this when he's feeling better?

Fyi
Iv noticed this with every single Pie ROM iv tried.
For me, the min frequency of the little cluster always clicks back to 1248 no matter what.

Yeah, I've noticed that too. Although, using EX Kernel Manager, I see the min frequency say that in the CPU section, it does actually go down to 384 based on the frequency chart and another app I use.
What I'm really concerned about is the actual frequency of the little cores being stuck at 1555 on this rom. The frequency chart also confirms that this is the only frequency used. The CPU temps stay pretty high because of this. The CPU load is also higher than normal.
Battery drain quite much compared with other Pie roms. Hope it'll be better in the day to come.

Im interested at any new rom, but Im tired trying as every one, except of Validus 2.7., sends unicode SMS as empty spaces. Could please someone of you, or even the developer, make following test:
1. Install the rom and only the rom. No gapps, no magisk, no xposed.
2. Send following test to some other GSM-number using the build-in SMS client and build-in keyboard, and look what was received:
Тест передачи
I could give to you my own German number, but please using PM.
Thank you if somebody makes the test.

Dude... The left grill is for the microphone, pretty standard design. If you cover it people will be unable to hear you. Pro 3's earpiece doubles as a speaker - the left grill does not.
Edit: Other Chinese manufacturers do this, including Xiaomi.

Great! Thanks for the update.
I'm on the 20181107 build and the ROM runs very well. A little bug I found: when the "Enable Smart Pixel" option is turned on in RR Configuration, the phone would start to hit the back key repetitively, rendering the device unusable.
Edit: The symptom seem to only occur when the 'Percent of pixels to disable' preference is set to values below 62 (it is 62 by default).
The solution I found is to hold the hardware back key and then navigate back to the menu to disable the option.
Not sure if it is only my device or a general issue. I'm also curious about how much power can be saved by turning on the 'Smart Pixel' feature.

For us no power is saved by turning on smart pixel since we have an LCD display, that feature is only useful for AMOLED

There are people who use eui marshmallow. I'm one of them. So it's not important a newer ROM but a stable ROM.....
I wonder the difference between this ROM and rrps ROM..
That's honestly such a ****ty thing to say. These developers put in tons of work and we should be grateful for every new ROM we get for our device.
How entitled can you be?
Better to have a more stable rom last "Gen" rom with newest source (security patch) either than having the absolute newest but therefore isn't as stable (well-developed; because it's only out for a few months yet) as the previous version.
I'm really glad to see a new RR Oreo Rom because of this reasons & i'm absolutly in love with RR :fingers-crossed:
Looking very excited forward for testing :good:
I am on twrp 3.2.3-1, latest official, and nitrogen ROM pie, (treble), can I flash this ROM........?
Hello, thanks for the rom i love RR, I have a backlight hardware keys off, how i can fix?
Hello and many thanks for the ROM. It looks nice but the hardware keys options are missing completely, hence the backlight is turned off I guess. I won't go into further details as I'm depending on the button customization to use my phone as I am used to for so long.
How to turn hardware button light ON?
Could someone fix the button lights?

Obviously not.
how is the kernel? with a little of customization like volumes, display, cpu voltages and cpu governors, or is it a BASIC kernel with just stock options?
if it'sstock, can't u use BS kernel?
i flashed the rom, it is good but i don't like battery life. i can achieve max 3h sot.... idk why. betterbatterystats gives me no wakelocks.. no big alarms, and deep sleep is perfect. so i don't understand what is draining my batter, on standby and even under load.... imho the battery goes down too much quickly something like 30% h
This a a development thread. Let's keep the comments productive, and remember that devs do stuff like this in their free time, as a hobby or because they want to give something back, such is the spirit of XDA.
Further messages of such a derogatory nature will be dealt with further, you should remember that such posts are against XDA Rules.
it was a very good room, but you spoiled it
I trusted you whwn you said everythink would work but I noticed this firmware RR-O-v6.2.1-20181108-x2-Final.zip, has a lot of bug on the audio sector. My wired headset does not work anymore with this RR firmware, and whatsapp sometimes has some issue.
Shortly: a disaster
is this rom still in dev ?
I noticed one problem and it annoys me very much. When I dial a phone number I have already called but I do not have it saved, it does not show hints. I must enter the whole number. This banal function was already in android 2.0
this is work on redmi 6a?

If you have a major bug to report that has not been reported already, please take the following steps to report it to us. It will save you, Team Resurrection Remix and me quite some time.
Download the MatLog app from the Play Store.
After downloading the MatLog app, go to the app settings, and change the log level to Debug.
Clear all previous logs and take the exact steps to produce the error you are receiving. As soon as you receive the error (probably a force close), go straight into MatLog and stop the log recording.
Copy and paste the entire log either to Hastebin or Pastebin
Save the log, and copy and paste the link into the thread with a brief description of the error.
Thx for that, but I'm a little bit confused;
Did you developed that version of pie or villarleg?
Because villarleg's version got already promoted by @Lethalben (https://forum.xda-developers.com/le-pro3/development/resurection-remix-7-0-0-t3893465)
Thanks
Edit:
Sorry, just saw your post in the thread above, you're the new maintainer! Nice job
A special thank you to VillarLeg will be welcome!
His the first maintener, and without him, there is nothing and without you to @AgustinLorenzo!
Thanks to all for keeping this Rom alive. Resurrection Remix is living up to its name once again.
Looking forward to seeing the next build.

First shutdown and the phone goes in EDL mode.
After the reboot, look to the battery! I loose more than 25%!?!
Incredible!
If anybody have an explication, you're welcome!
@AgustinLorenzo
I see that the Live Display is already implemented. Is there a plan to also include Color Profile?
Currently, Lineage is the only Pie rom with that feature and it would be nice to have an another rom that offer correct color display.

Did you a normal shutdown? Otherwise it could be because its cold outside. My phone and its battery reacts "allergy" to temperatures below 6-7° celsius. I experienced also a reboot after that in EDL, with an instant battery drain about 20-40%.

I'm also aren't on AOSIP, I use AICP.
Batteries, especially lithium-ionen, got big problems with temperature. It is a normal thing to expect such bugs when you're on a custom rom and don't use the stock rom.
Stock rom's got regulations to avoid this anormal shutdowns and are also specially designed to not be harmed.
Cdla doesn't works for me.
Will this rom work on ZL0 X722?
Will IR blast follow?

That issue seems specific to the current Pie Roms ( It can be avoided by putting the phone in Airplane mode when charging) and under clocking cores ( Lately Pie Roms have been under-clocked by default)
On a completely different note :
Check out these awesome Splash Screen for every Rom ever made for the Le Pro 3 including AICP : https://forum.xda-developers.com/le-pro3/themes/access-to-4dpa-site-files-available-xda-t3832894
They are so gorgeous, I have to share.

I haven't tested because I can't
Most, probably it doesn't works, but try and give logs.
If you can't try, it's never gonna be fixed.
Good ROM but sometime have lag and need a reset, and the camera and flashlight work partialy. I will try the PixelExperience ROM lately.

Problem with external SD card
I run the unofficial LineageOS 16.0 from @facuarmo on my harpia. It's working really well but it's no longer maintained. Hence I'm looking for another Pie ROM. I tried RR 7.0 and it installed easily but I have problems with the external SD card. It is recognized and I can create files and folders and can delete them too but already existing folders are shown as files with size 0. The same happens with ViperOS 6.0 and Pixel Experience. Does anyone know what the problem is?

Anyone facing issue with Google Photos??
For me it won't open
Any updates on VoLTE ?
This is now my daily driver since LineageOS dropped harpia support. So far it's snappy and bug free. I had some camera issues on my first boot but that resolved after a reboot. Battery performance seems to be pretty good too.

Try turning off "Open network notification" in Wi-Fi preferences. That seems to help a lot.

I think the problem is in GApps.
I tried several methods available on internet but none worked and I thought maybe if I try a different ROM it may work but it didn't.
Then I was using my phone normally leaving the Google photos part aside and suddenly after 2 weeks later apps were updating and in that Google photos was also listed.
After updating of apps from play store was completed Google photos worked and from then there are no issues.
PS: Updation of Google photos will happen after 2-3 weeks till then wait patiently.
