Intro
First of all, this is not a module
I'm trying to port Gingerbread's TV screen on/off animation to Froyo. Those f**ckin cool animations are the only reason for me to use GB!. I'm happy with Froyo, as everything works, and smoother feelings.
Progress
- Screen on : Good.
- Screen off : Good.
- Animation when screen timed out : Good.
Release
May 27th, FroyoBeam source is pushed to my github : https://github.com/doixanh/X8Features
Notice
We (the X8 users) spent some time testing the animations in my FroyoBread, and it seems to be good. I modified CM6 source, so it may not compatible with some ROMs. If the compilation fails, check inside the published source and take the lines around "dx" to your ROM's source.
More notice
0. This is a work-in-progress. I don't care that it's on xda-news or not. This is my attempt to satisfy my need (GB animations on Froyo). And I saw somebody saying it should be finished before being posted on xda-news. Did you fully read the news?
This hasn’t been released yet, due to the developer wanting to make sure it works perfectly, and he has kindly asked that you do not ask when it will be released

1. This mod should be compatible with most devices
2. These animations cannot be packaged as an update.zip, because
3. Lots of things are modified inside the CM6 source, not modding xml files and so on, and
4. The "release" that I mentioned will be a source release, and is intended to be used by ROM builders.
5. End-users will have to wait for their ROM builders to rebuild the ROM with patched source.
6. My FroyoBread ROM is built with personal purpose, and for experimenting my source code modifications.
Enjoy, ROM builders and users
Great, so people like the animation too.
Well, what files that related to the animation?
gosh...this is what im waiting for ...old tv screen off..it's gonna be awesome
Are you going to make one specific animation, or are you getting a few of them? Or are there even multiple to choose from?
Also: is it a script that runs some animation files? What are these, gifs, mpgs, avis? Because we could create additional ones and simply replace the animations within the script (if it works like that).
Awesome can't wait !!
WTF guys? Don't spam this thread with something like "yeah I like that..."
Stop spamming until the topic doesn't contain [DEV]
I don't consider my post spam. I'd like to prepare new animations (if I'm able to prepare them in the output format), so I'm asking specific questions.
This is stock screen on/off animation from gingerbread. You can see the clip. It's nothing to do with new animation or output format.
It's hard-coded inside android source.
is it only for froyo? wat about eclair?
I am asking, what files that related to the animation? I want to know, not just saying i like the animation.
Oh, I see. I simply didn't know how it works And I believed that it is still based on some graphic files.
Well then, good luck porting it
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=10020365&postcount=26
You've probably already seen that but just in case
This CRT animation is burried in surfaceflinger an has lots of dependencies on gb changes. Many have claimed this to be impossible... please prove them wrong mate ;-)
Sent from my X10mini using XDA App
Yep I'm trying to do that ;-) It seems that I cannot "take screenshot" to make it as an GL texture for screen on...
aldee_s: it's in the source of libsurfaceflinger. You have to modify the source and recompile if you want to do anything
hoo, then i cannot do anything yet, because i dont have the source yet, cause my connection sucks, hehe, sorry, i thought i can help.
Well, good luck doing it, you're super(module)man.
sorry if you consider my posts here as spam.
https://market.android.com/details?id=com.katecca.screenofflock&feature=search_result
There is an app that does something similar so it is clearly possible to do, just needs building into the system and then to replace the default power button action
Yeah I know that program. It does not work in case the screen is off after timeout, or when pressing power button...
Lockscreen should be modded for this to make this work.
Sent from my X8 using XDA Premium App
I don't have to mod anything with any lock screen....
/edit : uploaded first WIP clip. Check first post.
Update:
On/off animation is working, but only white/gray color. I still couldn't get the screen content to put into the texture. Will look deeper into this.
I managed to enable the animations while pressing power buttons. When the screen timed out, there is no animation. Maybe we have to look into power management service also...
I apologize for having to start a whole thread for this small issue, but I couldn't find it addressed anywhere and I can't post in the Development Forum.
I recently installed Slim Bean 4.2.1 Beta 1 on my Vibrant after having CM10(stable) installed for about a day. Perhaps this was just a bad install, but there seems to be some menus missing from the Vibrant port of Slim Bean. For instance, there isn't a lock screen menu under the Interface menu. I also don't have the OTA or Performance options under ASS.
These are the only ones that I've noticed. I have not tried reflashing it because other than the absence of those menus, it's working great. I'm also not even sure it's an issue at all, it could have been intentionally omitted.
So I just wanted to point it out in case it's an error in my install or the port. If it's not, then as you were. If it's something as simple as a menu toggle, I apologize for being a n00b.
Edit: I found the Performance menu (by tapping the build number a few times) but the rest are still MIA.
Hi folks,
I have the same issue but on SGS i9000. Otherwise the ROM is doing very well.
Boom goes the hammer of realism.
The 4.2.1 based SB builds are still in BETA, this is clearly noted in the OP, even the title of the thread.
This means that it is not yet complete (hint: BETA). The dev is working to port the normal SB tweaks to the new version of Android (4.2.1).
The advanced menus and options will be showing up as the build progresses towards a final release, for now, enjoy what they are doing for you, and be patient for updates as they work hard to port their changes to the latest and greatest android OS.
Thanks for the response! I realize it's in BETA but I wanted to clarify that those particular menus are not supposed to be there.
I'm looking forward to future updates as I love this ROM!
There is also no option for USB debugging yet, am I correct?
Google "how to enable developer options in android 4.2.1", and you'll then be able to turn on usb debugging.
Welcome to Starship Nexus. A Cyanogen based Rom designed to be lite-weight, simple, fast and efficient like any good Starship should.
THANKS
All praise goes to the CM Team and the Nexus 5 development community.
I had honestly never intended on posting this and was more a project for setting up my phone the way I like it. I have been developing in the past for the most part as part of different organizations who's initial purposes was to just bring Cyanogen to different devices.
https://github.com/Chairshot215
Up until the Nexus 5 I have never owned a supported device so as mentioned have worked with different teams to get CM up and running on mainly Sprint or VM devices. Also being the Art School Dropout that I am have also spent the past few years starting with CM-7 creating alternate themes for each device I have worked on and have released different versions of the starship theme for Sense, Touchwiz and other devices and have created a stockpile of images over the years to work with for each variant all sharing a common design. Unfortunately all those images are HDPI and will not work with the higher resolution of the Nexus 5 but what can I say developing has been a big part of my life over the years and although the Nexus 5 has no shortage more experienced developers it just feels strange not actively working on a Rom so have decided to go ahead and post what I have as I work on theming and adding different options and customizations.
Features Include
Now Launcher as the default Launcher.
G-Camera
Heavily Themed
Bare-bones app selection.
GCC 4.7 Compiled.
many minor modifications to numerous and insignificant to all be listed but includes things like customized text for example changing instances of generic terms like device to be more specific and allowing non market app installation as the default for those of us who may have owned a Kindle and either purchased or installed enough free apps of the day through Amazon that installing the Amazon App Store is a first after flashing. Otherwise would be a lengthy list of changes I don't think would make or brake anyone’s decision on installing the Rom.
Kernel Version is 3..4.41 which is nothing compared to other Kernels. With that said the Kernel is based on the current CM Kernel that although has incorporated many back ports from higher kernel patches starting this late in the game it is not easy to apply other patches even if already done so by other developers because other kernel patches had been made at earlier times so it is not as easy as just cherry picking entire patches as after confirming the CM team has not already incorporated each individual change each change must be tested individually. So anyhow that’s what’s going on with the kernel. Have also incorporated a few other changes not included in the version patches or by the CM Team from other Kernels like Omnirom for example. I would otherwise like to thank all the Nexus 5 Kernel devs as the patches are based on those found in other kernels like UBER and LiquidSmooth taking common commits between many different kernels to form each patch. Otherwise I plan to continue improving the Kernel as I work on the Theme. Kind of excited as for the most part working with other teams have always been the vendor blob guy and looking foreword to learning more about the kernel. The Kernel has not been tested on all CM11 Roms but is compatible with current Official CM-11 builds so probably will work with most CM-11 Roms built from the current source so will include the Kernel only as a separate download.
Each individual change made as part of the Linux Version Patches are explained in detail under the cm-11.0_testing branch. The Version Patch commits are grouped together under the primary cm-11,0 branch without individual explanation for an easy view of what changes or commits made to the Kernel are made outside of the Linux Version Patches. The testing branch link below shows all changes tested before added to the Starship Kernel as well as the individual commits for each change made as part of a Linux Version Patch.

Yeah it is definitly at this point bare to the bones and will post a few screenshots in a bit. Ultimitly I would like to base the theme somthing like the original incarnation of the Rom from what I had done with the Motorola Triumph. Posting a link to the thread for the screenshots to give an idea of what to expect in the future.

Sorry had just recently reinstalled Ubuntu over the weekend and had not yet set FTP back up. I added a Mediafire link that will hopefully do the job until I finish work and get a chance to set up FTP again.

There is a script that runs the first time the Rom boots that removes allot and moves the necessary files for the now launcher to work correctly from a staging directory to ware they need to be placed in the system & data partitions.
After this script has run a second script cleans everything up including the staging directory.
https://github.com/StarshipNexus/android_device_nexus_starship-common/blob/cm-11.0/cleanup
Is done this way to prevent needing a specialized Gapps package for every update as the Now Launcher requires newer libs for Google Search than what is found in the Gapps zip that would be replaced when the Gapps zip is flashed. So in short for multiple reasons the zip is large but by the time it starts installing apps the first time the Rom boots it has been slimmed down pretty well.
Very slim. Now I test it.
I have updated a few new thing. I have first been testing out new Bootanimations and default Wallpapers. Nothing set in stone although kind of dig the new Wallpaper. The Bootanimation is from the G2 as I have also been working on porting the G3 Stock Rom ported to the G2 so is more a port of a port. Anyhow decided to give the Boot animation a try. The G3 is also the source of a few of the new Icons mixed in with a few Blur and other images. Most notably are the buttons and settings divider line. I have also applied patches for the 3.4.16, 17 and 3.4.18 Kernel version patches along with different Audio and a few video Enhancements.
Posted an update, mainly because I found a few parts of the theme hideous. Is definitely getting there though and starting to see glimpses of my pre xxhdmi resolution Starship Roms. Looking at the last updated screenshots definitely need to hit up some text colors for next time. Otherwise happy how things are coming along and posting is definitely motivating my Ars. Think are not yet downloads so going ahead with aditional text color. Just in case will add a b version in a few.
Filename is 20140930 not version b
Made more changes for next time with the Teal blue taking up the right side of the Statusbar leaving the left using the OG White. Doing this because some user intalled apps will add images on the left and think it looks silly mixed up between the two so each side of the Statusbar will have its own color. Using the darker Teal in place of the lighter Teal / Blue coloring I have used since Froyo after reading an article about how certain colors help reduce battery usage from the display depending on the display type of the device. I have been desighning the Rom in a way that it can be built for any device with a CM port official or otherwise with most of the changes being aplied through a Starship Device directory so far requiring only 2 lines added into the device directory importing the Starship directory like shown in the below link to the commit for the Nexus 5. With that said Im going to end up changing the name as I built what has been completed up to this point for a friends Moto as simple as adding the Starship directory and adding two lines into the device directory.

Anyway posting these things in advance because I havnt seen many opinions or feedback on the current look and feel but can see a steady number of downloads so if anyone has an opinion or idea for improvment let me know. The current incarnation or reboot is still very young and as some may have noticed things are changing pretty drasticly version to version so could still use any help anyone is willing to offer.
Instead of reboot think Im going with reimagined, seems to be the new term going around.
Ok. This rom is rock. Do you will its development?
Wallpaper
Anyone got a separate link for the wallpaper please?

Well, is there and user feedback? I don't mind continuing development on this project, but I have no interest if you have no interest.
Not asking for much, just at least would like to know if install went well and you are up and running?
I can make this project be fully customizable and themable like my other OZOP project if interest is here?
Happy Holidays everyone.

Unfortunately I don't own a Tab 4, but I did figure out the full fix for the Tab 4 layout bug. It was a few incorrect layout_gravity positions in status_bar_expanded xml. Never got the chance to update my thread but yeah, there was an custom apktool someone compiled with the new commits that fix the pull down bug. Let me search around to find it so you can use. Anyway, hopefully some people can provide feedback. Happy holidays
EDIT: here's the apktool that should have fixed pull downs

I think making a ROM for this device is awesome. Many thanks and I will give it a go today.

I'm surprised to see you don't own a Tab 4 seeing as you clearly put in A LOT of work to ensure proper compilation of modded apk's!!!
Again thank you for the leg work you put in for this device. I may or may not have mentioned that I don't actually own the device either, my wife does!! She like to be able to tweak the clocks and play with themes as well, so she allows me to work my mods in, slowly....
Your previous fixes for the pulldown worked pretty good overall, I don't mind the only thing that was noticeable (when youe begin to pulldown the pulldown header is visable at the bottom for a quick moment) to me in the brief time playing with the Tab. It didn't hinder the device unusable or really count as a major "bug" in my mind.
I will try the linked apktool and see if that changes anything? Thanks again bud!!

To be honest, I only modded this device for my wife and am unsure of the different devices or even why they have so many devices in the same forum?
All I can be sure of is my girls Tab is the Tab 4 10.1 model number T530NU.
She uses it for school only. Wi-Fi as of now, with no data connection of it's own.
If other ROM's for the T530NU work for other variants, then I'm sure this rom will work as well!!
All I can say is
*MAKE A NANDROID BACKUP FOR THE JUST IN CASE
*MAKE SURE YOU KNOW WHAT YOU'RE FLASHING FOR WHAT DEVICE
*BE PATIENT UPON INITIAL INSTALL (FIRST BOOT CAN TAKE ABOUT 10-15 MINUTES
If you do decide to give it a try, PLEASE post back your results and/or comments so I can update the OP

I am not really pushing here for major development on this device, but if I have something build that is different that a "Stock" version rom I usually will share.
Of course "Interest, appreciation and thread participation", play HUGE parts on update frequency and future development!!!
Did you end up loading up v1?
As of right now there has been almost 60 downloads and I have yet to get a single response about this build? I will build more, including a fully Inverted, customizable version if interest is here...
Actually I have the T530, not the NU one but I would imagine it will still work. I'll give the ROM a go tomorrow and see how I fare and let you know.

Been running your rom on my T530 (not NU) for about 3-4 hours. Funny to be back to a Samsung like ROM having run other ROM's like BlissPop. Your ROM runs very nicely and I don't have any problems. I went for a totally clean wipe, data/cache/dalvik and system. During installation/setup I had Google Maps force close a few times (who cares?). Didn't affect installation of the ROM. ROM took about 10mins or so before I saw anything other than the Samsung logo on first boot which is totally normal. I had some 21 apps update via PlayStore after boot. So far all is good, very nice job on the ROM too.
Such a great tablet and/but ROM community/support for it is pretty low. I'll keep running this as my daily driver and let you know of any issues I run into. Thanks for your support! Any chance of a 5.1.1 update or Marshmellow update?

Thank you very much for the feedback! If there were more users like you this place would be packed with eager excited devs building and updating. But like you said, low community participation and feedback. No real motivation for people to share work that may already been done.
I'm glad things went smooth for you and that this "Initial" release is working and functional! There are a few mods in OZOP Control that aren't working yet, but they will eventually! It was a lot of work removing all the mods from my current version to build this Initial version.
I usually don't even release a mostly "stock" Themed version because I can't stand the white Backgrounds!
You just might have given me the motivation to build v2 the "Inverted" version...
As far as 5.1.1 and further, I will definately update as "Official" samsung versions are released. I usually only build from stock samsung bases to reduce bugs and problems.
Lile I said, this is my girls device and I haven't followed the update progress, what is the most current build? Do you have a download link? Zip or tar? I can extract and Deodex pretty quickly these days! Lol
Thanks again bud. Enjoy and remember this is just an initial release and some things may not work yet.

Ya, no it's solid and definitely a daily driver. Games and everything else seems to work without issue. It's kinda nice having a bit of the old Samsung look and controls. I did find those broken controls you mention. No biggie for me. With Google+ happening more these days people have moved on in that direction. You know, no feedback can also be considered a good sign too. People are first to complain, than lay compliments. While it may seem the community has lost interest (here) ROMs like Tipsy, Tesla, Blisspop do also continue in Google+ world. Way I see it, with that route, just allows them to do things by their own rules. I prefer XDA which allows me an opinion without harsh results. Glad you decided to post here. Anyway, you can count on me to test and hope you do release an inverted version. I plan to run this now as my daily driver. Cheers!

I find solution for this . Need replace pronto wlan.ko on the way system/lib/modules/pronto/ . I made flashable zip from T530_....OD8 rom .
I just found this a minute ago, im about to flash now I will let you know how it goes. Glad to see you are working on this tablet. Im a big fan of your work on the S5. I used the missing link all the time when I had that phone.
I couldnt get wifi to work. I am using a T530NU.
There is a newer firmware for this device Just letting you know in case you decide to update it. http://forum.xda-developers.com/tab-4/general/links-galaxy-tab-4-official-lollipop-5-t3102844
Putting this on my kids tablet hoping it will extend his battery life and heat problems hope to see more work on this tablet. Sucks big time that samsung just left this great device to die.
Hi, thanx for this work, it looks like it needed a lot of time for such customization. .. it s a bit sad to see how few people are reporting here their feedbacks. ..
Please, if possible, can it be written in the first page what is sure it doesn't work and eventual known bugs?
I found some days ago an sm-t530 like new for 110$ and I m trying to set it in the best way, but choices are much less than what is available for my s4... I think in this weekend I ll give a try
The wifi doesnt work so I never tried anything else I just went back to CM. Hopefully the developer decides to work on this more because he does some great work but for now you should check out another rom.
This is all based on personal opinions and experiences. I mean no offense to any of the developers. None of this should be taken as an insult, because it's not intended to be.
Android 5.x:
- Stock: I'll always like the simplicity in design of the older Touchwiz versions. It was nice, but it got pretty laggy after a while.
- Light Xperion:
- ColorOS: Link's broken.
- MIUI 8: Link's broken.
- MIUI 9: Link's broken.
- ADS Sony: Link's broken.
Android 6.0:
- Stock: Starts lagging so bad after around two years of use. Literally no apps installed other than the necessary ones. No games, nothing. Internal storage kept always empty. Became so laggy that the status bar took literally almost one whole second to pull down. Not really that good of an experience. The system took way too much space and didn't have that many features. Sure the theme engine was nice, but that's about it. There isn't really any point into reviewing this, but i thought it might be kinda interesting, if anyone else experienced the same issues as me.
- MIUI 8: About what you'd expect. It's MIUI. Feature packed, as usual. Sometimes laggy, as usual on a low end phone.
- MIUI 10: Graphics pack over MIUI 8. Looks nice.
- Slim6:
- ADS Asus: Link's broken, sadly. I really wanted to see how it was with all the apps i suggested adding. Should have been pretty much a full Asus experience, except the SystemUI.
- SuperROM:
Android 7.x:
- HalogenOS: Doesn't install, "E3003: Can't install this package over newer build.", which makes no sense because the phone was fully wiped. Tried many times, going from different ROMs back to this. Never worked. It looks pretty nice in the screenshots, even has some custom apps. Quite unfortunate that it doesn't install.
- Odyssey Note8: I personally don't like 3MinitBattery, never liked it. Other than that it lags quite a lot. But it's kinda expected since it's supposed to be a ROM ported from a phone with much more horsepower under the hood.
- SEP Lite: Doesn't recognize the J500F as "J500xx". Refuses to install
- SEP: I just don't get why the Lite version doesn't install. This one installed just fine. Anyway, it's just stock Touchwiz, nothing much to say about it. It runs just fine, nothing more, nothing less. I like the little touches like the Aroma installer and the amount of options are offered.
- WyckedOS: Doesn't flash. "No digest file found".
- SpaceOS: Doesn't flash. "No digest file found".
- Mokee: Doesn't boot. Artefacts. Booting forever.
- AOSP CAF: Doesn't flash. "Can't install this package over newer build".
- CosmicOS: Doesn't flash. "Can't install this package over newer build".
- Serenity: Touchiwz, just Touchwiz. Just like SEP, it's just Touchwiz. The same, but slightly different features. Like SEP, it's as fast as Touchwiz can get, which is not very fast, but it's usable.
- XOS: Doesn't flash. "No digest file found".
- XOSP: Crashes on boot. Massive graphics artefacts. Custom kernels result in bootlooping.
- Ground Zero Validus: Very slow boot compared to the rest, takes way too much time. Glance doesn't work, just shows the lockscreen directly. Doesn't even have an internet browser app installed. The home screen is a random mess. It's not really that polished. But i like that you can make the statusbar transparent with a blurred background. I get what they were doing with the grid style recents, but a more HTC-like approach would have been a lot better, since the grid style only allows 8 apps at a time to be shown, plus they change size depending on how many there are and you can't swipe them to close them, you must hit the tiny "X" button.
- Ground Zero Tesla: Boots the same as slow, but this time it's pre-rooted instead of just having Magisk there to root it yourself. Normally i would complain about it being the same, or about the fact that it's lacking Substratum unlike the other one, but i'm actually very ok with it because i like the features it has. Their custom Kernel Adiutor version supports voltage and sound control, which is a really nice feature. It even has a custom theme, which, yeah, it might hurt some eyes, but it's there at least. It's above average. I wouldn't say good, but it's not bad either and has some unique features. The presentation is messy.
- Hexagon: "No digest file found", but it's installing, maybe if i were to replace the installer script from the other ROMs with this one... Hmmm... Maybe some other time. After finishing installing, it crashed on boot just like XOSP. Graphics artefacts, display slowly fading to yellow for some reason. Doesn't reboot with other kernels, but stays on the boot screen indefinitely.
- DarkNess reDefined: Doesn't flash. "Can't install this package over newer build".
Android 8.x:
- LineageOS: First impression was great, as usual with all LineageOS ROMs. It's pretty much the base for all ROMs. it's good if you like clean and simple UIs.
- AOKP: Besides not having an "OOBE", the customization app has a rather outdated design. Also, the app installer crashes every time i tried to install anything. On the flip side, the customization app offers a wide range of options, nothing to complain about that. Can install apps with 1 Click Installer which uses root, or (i haven't tested) with Lucky Patcher.
- Toxyc: The customization was very complex, but it didn't even have an internet browser pre-installed and the messaging app kept crashing over and over again. Unusable, because it doesn't have basic functionalities like text messaging. Another unfortunate one, because the performance was also good.
- ViperOS: I don't have anything to say about it. Good customization app. Nothing more, nothing less. Good performance, almost wanted to stay on this ROM.
- dotOS: Didn't boot at first surprisingly. Got locked up at the Samsung logo. But the issue was the kernel. After i flashed Jet Cooled Kernel it booted right up. After boot, i was met with a really nice UI, a very mature and modern looking customization app and overall no bugs whatsoever. In conclusion, broken kernel, but good performance and stability with any other kernel.
- Ressurection Remix: As expected, it has every possible customization option there could possibly be. You can even customize the customization app. It's just mindblowing.
- Tipsy: Not only the home button doesn't wake the screen, it also has barely any customization and the home screen you're greeted with is quite messy. The theme engine only themes the settings app and the pre-installed Kernel Adiutor, not even the statusbar/QS. You can't even reprogram the keys from the customization app, like you can do on all the other ROMs, to some degree. Too bad the Tipsy theme was kinda cool, black with glowing yellow accents. Even has doze settings, something that the other ROMs don't have. Could have been a lot better, the 3rd unfortunate one.
- crDroid: Link's broken.
- Ground Zero Validus: Link's broken.
- LineageOS GO: Link's broken.
Common 8.x issues: Searching for locations in the weather provider app doesn't work.
Android 9.x:
- eOS: What a gorgeous ROM. Probably my favourie so far. Doesn't have lots of customization, compared to the other ROMs, but the whole UI is already custom. Good performance, very stable.
- LineageOS: About what you would expect from LineageOS. A perfect base ROM. Everything works. Doesn't really do much, but it's perfectly fine. Customizable buttons and LiveDisplay are the main extra features over basic AOSP, which are more than welcome.
- LineageOS GO: Link's broken.
- AOSPExtended: This was, like, GOOD good. I think this might have broken through RessurectionRemix's level of customization. The UI is smooth and responsive, probably the best i've seen so far. The pre-installed themes are really nice. The camera, omg... This phone can actually take good photos, it's incredible. It actually acts like a 16MP camera, the photos taken in daylight are so detailed. The amount of options in that camera app is outstanding, and you can even turn off denoise completely. The only bug i encountered was after flashing Magisk, the wallpaper broke completely. It defaulted to the original AEX one, couldn't change it in any way. After saving a wallpaper and going to /data/system/users/0, the actual wallpaper was the one i set, but the one showed was the default one. Something broke hard, i have no idea how or what. You have to change the wallpaper manually from where the current wallpaper is actually stored, but that means no Live Wallpapers. Installing an app also breaks the ROM, because the install screen replaces the home screen, and uninstalling an app causes the same effect. Needs a restart after installing any app. (Not affected by Google Play install/uninstall, only when manually installing .apk files.). I personally can get over all these bugs, because the battery life is amazing, the performance is probably the best out of all ROMs and it has the customization features i want. I kept this ROM as my main one.
- EvolutionX: Link's broken.
- Kraken Project: Link's broken.
- Ressurection Remix: Link's broken.
- Carbon: Doesn't flash. "No digest file found".
- Pixel Experience: Pixel ROM, nothing exciting. Doesn't have customization, doesn't have anything. It's about what you'd expect, it's just stock Pixel UI. One thing i have to complain is that the camera performance is extremely bad and i find it very wery weird that out of all the ROMs, this one doesn't have GCam.
- Bootleggers Shishufied: Doesn't have bugs. Runs fine. Has good customization. It doesn't really stand out in any way.
Android 10.x:
- AncientOS: First of all, wow, how animated everything is. I don't know if i should say it's obnoxious or cute, but i guess it's a bit of both. Nonetheless, i don't mind the animations. I like that it features an AOD, great UI customization and a variety of non-AOSP system apps. Two of the surprising features are Dirac Audio and double tap to sleep/wake. It's actually good. Besides a slight problem with the animation when going out of the AOD mode, i don't see any issues. Overall a fun ROM suitable for daily use.
- crDroid:
- Xtended XQ: I don't like being so negative about stuff, but there are too many problems not to talk about them. First of all, there is no Settings shortcut on QS panel, which i find really weird. If you change anything in the QS, the edit button just shoots offscreen, being unable to change the QS icons without "catching" the editor button while the QS are closing, or changing the DPI to some very high amount. The AOD settings crash the settings app and you're unable to change the AOD style, position, color, font, or anything else. The AOD text function is broken, but at least the image one works, yay... You'd better get used to screen burns, because the AOD is actualy, as literal as it can get, always on, no way to change it, enable a wave function or just turn it off completely. The transparent theme is buggy at best, The colors of the QS, even if you change them to accent color, they are still changing when you extend the QS panel. Yeah, that's about it. It's not that great. At least in terms of performance it was one of the quickest to boot and app opening times were very short.
- Corvus: Imo, the quotes app is really cringe. More or less the same as AncientOS, minus the animations and the fun UI. And mostly stock apps too. Mixed feelings about this one. Average at best.
- Bootleggers Unshishufied: It's nice. Runs well. Doesn't have that much of a custom UI, but i like that it includes non-stock apps, a custom theme from "out of the box" and many customization features. I don't like that LiveDisplay doesn't work. But, yeah, it's fine. I just don't get why the other version doesn't work. Oh, and it doesn't have a camera app.
- Bootleggers Shishufied: Doesn't flash. "No digest file found".
- Bliss: By far the best Andorid 10 custom ROM i've tried so far. it has all the customization features i want and even more. The performance is very good, you don't even notice it's an 8 year old phone. Besides a few weird bugs, like not being able to change the wallpaper (also an issue on AOSP Extended) and not being able to disable the AOD, it's overall very stable and functional. I also like that the UI has that extra something, that little bonus touch to stand out from the rest.
- ArrowOS: Link's broken.
- HavocOS: Link's broken.
- RevengeOS: Link's broken.
Android 11.x:
- LineageOS: Tried an earlier build, everything was broken (internal storage not recognized, not saving photos or screenshots, SIM didn't work, SystemUI crashes and other things. That day i wrote "Imagine that everything is broken, but then you dropped your phone on the floor and accidentally set it on fire afterwards. That's how this build of LineageOS feels.", which i think it's absolutely hilarious. But, yeah, now it's fine. Everybody says the bugs have been fixed and it's good for daily use. I may or may not test it again at some point.
Android 12.x:
- LineageOS:
Android 13.x:
- LineageOS: I mean... It works just fine. It doesn't help that the UI looks really bad on Andorid 13. That new quick toggle bar is just useless. So few toggles in view. Just doesn't make sense. As for bugs, only the Gcam Go app doesn't adjust exposure. But that's just an app, it doesn't really count as a bug. Surprised to see that it comes with Dolby. I wanted to enable stereo speakers, but i simply couldn't figure out the mixer_paths.xml. And the ultra dim display toggle is an S-Tier feature, especially because it doesn't seem to apply a filter, but actually tune the brightness. Double tap to wake/sleep is also a feature i wouldn't have expected to see.
Common issues on ALL ROMs: The "INSTALL_FAILED_NO_MATCHING_ABIS: Failed to extract native libraries, res=-113" issue occured on all ROMs. Can't install any 64-bit apps.
If anyone has a link or backup of the ROMs i couldn't download because the links were broken, please help me by providing a link. Thank you in advance.

Oh, sorry for not replying. XDA didn't send me a notification for this. But thanks for the reupload. When i'll have all the ROMs, i'll upload a giga archive of all of them. Just didn't have time lately to test more of them.
