Some time ago I made some change to build.prop file inserting mods suggested in this forum. Today, trying to install jelly bean update (failed yesterday) on my transformer prime, I've decided to restore build.prop to its original state, so I cancelled those code lines added previously, saved build.prop file, changhed permission as original amd rebooted tablet.
Unfortunately, after rebooting, appeared a windows saying "System Ui has stopped working" and I cannot do nothing because this windows appears continuously preventing every operation....I tried a wipe reset, but nothing changed.
Now I don't know what to do, someone coluld help me?

I've tryed tu upgrade to jelly bean with firmware update just released by Asus, putting zip file on sd card and letting update process start and reboot system. After rebooting upgrading seem to start but suddently stops with android robot dead on the floor with warning signal on open chest The same happens even if I try to uograde to .28 firmware.
Then system reboots coming back to previous firmware version, working bad with warning about system UI always appearing...and driving me crazy because is quite impossible to use tablet.:crying:
I Think I've to erase completely android and made a full install, not a simple upgrade. But I don't knoe how to do....
With abd i thing you con restore o change file. Someone more capable ??

I sent my Transformer Prime to Asus repair center via RMA because I wasn't able to restore system.
Now I'm waiting for coming back this damned piece of junk, sure that I'll find Jelly Bean already installed without any way to obtain root permissions.....:crying:
Currently running 4.1.2 roms and facing this kind of problem ..... couldn't connect to wifi ... keep stuck on that " turning on " screen . Need helpp

Do a factory reset

Re-flash your rom first before making a factory reset, might work. If that doesn't, wipe your phone, if that doesn't either, wipe and flash stock via odin.

facory reset doesn't help
d955 on 4.4.2 but bootloop after installing font pack.. any idea to save the phone without losing the datas and settings?

here s my situation:
sometimes after HOURs of bootloop it boots.
I tried to revert the font back stock. Reboot--> bootloop.
Now i hope it will boot again ( after hours) but is there a way to fix this issue?

I have installed custom ROM JELLYBLAST V3.0.3 in my GT-S5830i model. After thi installation I am not able to connect with my SIM card. It shows message as "emergency calls only" .
When I checked the EMIE number using *#06#, its shows an empty string. No IMEI number displays here.
BAsed on googling and SDA forum suggestion, I installed galaxy toolbox and successfully restored the IMEI number. When I checked in galaxy toolbox, it shows me IMEI number (15 digits). But the same error still exists. When I check with *#06# it is showing empty value. I used kernal-201211201515-e3-boot.img.zip and modulos201211201515-modules.zip files after the custom rom installation (based on google search). But no use. same problem.
I have tried odin tool to restore my previous OS (2.3), but that has also error like file write error.
Can anyone suggest any other solution to fix it??? Thanx in advance....

I have tried your suggestion using odin. I got a message as "complete write operation failed?"
So I have digged through this error. Found a thread as http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1884064. But is is also not working.
I got this same error 3 months back (Emergency calls only error). At that time I install the stock rom using odin. Then it was working perfectly. But now I can not enter in download mode also. I have gone through many threads related to it. No solution yet. Yesterday I tried JIG using resistor (300k[ 3 100k series resistor]). But that is also failed.
Do you have any other suggestion. Already my phone is working now. But emergency calls only this time (for the last 1 week ).

Well, since a couple of days ago my P10 has stopped updating or being able to install new apps.
I've tried everything, clean caché of the Play Store, clean data, restart the device several times, disable auto-updates... but nothing worked.
The apps won't update and if I try to download a new app it won't download, it hangs when showing "updating" or "installing" but it never completes these processes. According to a Spanish forum I am not the only one suffering this behavior and it seems related to the new firmware B162. My phone is a free device (not related to any ISP brand).
Am I the only one with this problem?
Mine too same behaviour with B151,unbranded P10.All possible solution used and problem still excist.Clear cache,and restore store to previous version,even delete and re type google account,nothing happened...When trying to download an app keeps downloading forever and update an excisting app is not possible...Any way to warn Hua in order to deal with the problem,by releasing an update,because is a common issue with P10??

So if this also happens with older firmwares I should expect that a newer firmware could fix this issue, right?
Well, this is my first Huawei device, I got it months ago when they've just launched the model to the market, I got it without the oleophobic screen coating (huge disappointment) for some reason (the first units were dispatched without it) and now this. I though they were the most important Chinese mobile brand but I guess I am wrong and that maybe Xiaomi is far ahead

It's really weird. Yesterday night I tried to install a new app, and it wasn't until this morning that it got installed (but after using the phone a few hours this morning).
I don't understand what triggers the update/install of the GooglePlay Store apps
Nothing worked for me,just factory reset last night,worked till 1 hour ago,and now same again!!No new installs or updates from store...Really frustrated now with Huawei....

Didn't work for me either
In a spanish forum there are other people with the p10 and honor pro 8 and they havr the same problem...
In my case there have been 7-8 days like this, is really anyoing

So... If I rebrand it, will it still happen?
I don't have such problems on mine and I hope that I won't have to deal with it.
Quick sugestion:
Maybe it's not a phone failure, maybe it's a google app/server failure.
Try to check the google play services if it's outdated or whatever..try a new build..play around a bit with it and might work. I had that problem too, like I was not able to dowload anything nor login youtube etc. and it was due to services.
Hope you'll fix it !
Ok, I managed to fix it I think. My solution has been to wipe the terminal cache through the recovery mode of EMUI. (Holding volume up and power at the same time with the device turned off and just release those buttons when the Huawei logo appears)
For a regular user who doesn't even know what is the recovery mode and this kind of thing will be normal to achieve this

I am on B151 and still get this issue with play store...
I had the same problem the last 4 or 5 days...
I'm on B162 (P10)
I tried everything, but nothing seems to work: deleted play store oder play services data and cache, deleted Google account and login again, clear system cache, deleted play store and reinstall it
Nothing worked
But yesterday it started to download an updating my apps
Until now no problems
I don't know what it triggered so maybe, give it just time and wait a week until factory reset
Apps could be also updated or installed by apk
Quick question, can I install B162 without installing all the other firmware first? My phone is currently on B120 and there 'apprently' isn't an update available via the phone settings!
Having issues with WiFi download speeds not going over 30mbps yet my wife's P10, which is on B150, hits 110mbps.
B162 seeing the same issue today, suddenly can't download/update from google play store.
network is working, google account is working
is anyone still seeing the same issue ?
