I have problem with mirroring. Android can't find my LG smart tv. I modify the build.prop adding this line:
persist.debug.wdf.enable=1
Now Android can see my smart tv but when I start the mirroring my device fast rebooting.

hi there my lg g watch w100 is stuck on update mec23g and says its is the latest update yet i know for a fact play services is higher then 9 and that android wear is higher then 1.4 yet the watch is refusing to find any new updates and abd sideload doesn't work on the watch yet does on phone. also the watch his in the file system ext4 when it shouldn't be.

I have an issue..
I am trying to root and install a custom OS on my tablet because it is retarded as it is..
When I try to use an APP such as PDANET+ I am able to connect to my wifi hotspot from my LG Aristo 2 (a Metro PCS android phone with UNLIMITED DATA)
I am able to connect to the hotspot with the PDANET that is installed on the tablet, but as soon as I hit the HOME BUTTON... So I can use and APP that requires SAID HOTSPOT CONNECTION, or load a game that Needs an internet connection. The APP PDANET IS KILLED BY THE TABLET.
MOSTLY EVERY APP I HAVE IS AUTOMATICALLY CLOSED BY THE TABLET UPON GOING TO THE HOME SCREEN. I have tried everything, from a 3rd part app to "keep apps alive" third party apps to "keep background apps active"..
EVERYTHING I DID to try to keep apps alive in the background failed. I HIT THE HOME KEY, THE APPS ARE KILLED..
Every other device I have keeps the apps running until I close them myself. All I have to do is hit the SQUARE KEY and it will reload the APP THAT IS RUNNING IN THE BACKGROUND..
So I want to root and install a custom ROM, possibly with an older version of android if necessary..
Can anyone help with the Rooting and recovery installation of this SPECIFIC VERSION DRAGON TOUCH 2017 version X10???
Or tell me how to make it so I can keep PDANET CONNECTED TO MY HOTSPOT AND RUNNING in the background while I play games or use other apps??
Please help I just bought the tablet and its useless Because I cannot afford to pay for home internet and PDA NET CLOSES LOL

Hi, I have a Sharp Smart TV that runs Android 6.0. It has a model LC-65UE630X and i'm desperately trying to find a way to root this TV, preferrably without custom recovery because no custom recovery supports this model.
Can it be done? Thank you.
P.S: I already have USB debugging options. I don't even know how to enter bootloader or recovery for Smart TV device

I have installed a Nexus 5 device with a custom rom on Android 6.0.1 (of course on this year - 2020, nexus would not auto update from 4.4.3). With this, I installed NetHunter and had the TWRP installed on this.
My Wireless adapter inbuilt the phone was working great on the Android 4.4.3 and then after I Unlock the device and then even after I updated to Android 6.0.1 which was great. With all this, I updated my device to android + NetHunter (Kali version 6.0.1) which was then I was able to see the WiFi is on and can connect to my home network. Then I did the mistake.
I root the device with the Magisk. This although the recommended root by the Kali People, did took down my wireless adapter. Did many things and searched the whole internet. No one knew what caused and many given pointers to clear cache etc. Nothing worked. Then what I did was the below.
1. Re Flash the 6.0.1 - this would not destroy the Kali version as this is the back end of the Kali NetHunter. It will bring back the WiFi with device being un-rooted.
2. Root the device with #SuperSu - This will allocate the suffice permissions to NetHunter and keep your WiFi intact.
So here goes everyone, this brings you to the end of this short article and hope this helps to those people whom taking my pathway. Happy Hunting.:good::good:
Hi everyone, I'm new to XDA and Android rooting, I'm trying to extract and change the boot logo image of a Chinese Android TV Box (the one that comes before the boot animation), I've done a lot of research for figuring out how to change it, but none of the options worked, not even extracting the image with ADB commands... or with Ricky's AMLogic tools (also because it's not compatible with anything newer than Android Nougat if i'm not wrong), and I'm getting confused on how to do it, is there any method for extracting the Android TV's boot logo image and change it to something different?
EDIT: The Android TV box it's ALREADY rooted.
