Unable to install Google Apps

I recently purchased a Moto E so that I could install Cyanogenmod onto it. I was able to follow all the instructions on https://wiki.cyanogenmod.org/w/Install_CM_for_surnia. When I boot my phone Cyanogenmod works find, however none of the google apps appear in the Android App Tray.
So far I have tried both the the nano and the full version from opengapps.org, but neither works. I am primarly interested in getting the Google App store installed on my phone so that I can have easy access to installing new apps without having to locate .apk files. I would also like to experment with google voice typing even if I untimatly decide that feature is not worth the device overhead.
Has anyone else experinced problems installing Google Apps in my setup?
Phone:Moto E 2015 (XT1526)
Cyanogenmod: cm-13.0-20161001-NIGHTLY-surnia.zip
Gapps: open_gapps-arm-6.0-nano-20160828.zip

Did you install the GAPPS immediately after flashing, without booting in between?
Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
The second time I wiped the first install. Then I reinstalled new CM13and Gapps at the same time.
Go ahead and mark this one solved. I just used the aroma version of open gapps, now it works! I suppose there is some mystery as to why I could not install the two other versions, but I don't want to waste time trying to figure it out. Aroma is the version that allows the used to choose which packages to install

[NO Root] Remove bloatwares from Lenovo A6000/plus without root!!

Point of this post(boring stuff )
In your stock ROMs you are pretty much stuck with the preloaded craps unless you root your device. Now you might not want to root your device for various reasons. For instance, almost all banking apps do not work on rooted devices. A way to tackle this is to use systemless root access provider like magisk. But unfortunately magisk requires Android 5.0+. So we need some other ways for our devices running Android 4.4.4 right? Well, fortunately there is a very simple method for debloating any stock ROM(I personally tested this method on Lenovo A6000 PLus but this should work on any ROM out there).
Note: You need a custom recovery for this to work, which can cause serious harm to your device if you do things incorrectly. You are also tweaking your device's system partition, so you might void your warranty. If anything happens to your device, its your responsibility.
Let's get started
Step 1: Download the "pico" gapps package from opengapps.org. For Lenovo A6000/Plus running stock kitkat, select arm,4.4,pico.
Step 2: Open twrp recovery.
Step 3: Install the pico gapps package that you just downloaded.
Step 4: Reboot your device. Now you will find that most of the google apps have a green icon with android logo(if you are using lenovo launcher). Just remove those apps.
Done
So, Which apps are removed?
Pretty much every apps are removed except Google Play Services, Play Store, Gboard and Play Newsstand. You can disable Newsstand and the security app(which does nothing but eat up space and resources) if you like.

Dude, 1st thing, you said this method needs a custom recovery which means you have to root the device at first or lest consider you just boot twrp using fastboot
And flashing gapps will remove the obselet gapps, and it won't remove the other oem bloatware present so actually this can't br called "Debloating"
Debloating doesn't mean removing gapps, debloating is the removal of useless or apps which can be downloaded from play store, included in the ROMs

Yes you have to use fastboot method but you don't need root access for that and as for the "bloatware" you are referring to, it's any unnecessary app that comes pre-installed with a device which you can't uninstall. Keeping aside the gapps there are only 2-3 apps that fall into that category, which you can just disable as I mentioned. In a device with 8gb or 16gb internal storage every bit of free storage counts. At least it's better than being stuck with all the apps in the first place.

How to install blankstore?

Hi,
I am trying to get blankstore installed on my Magisk-rooted Android 10 Pixel 3 XL.
When I try to install the GmsCore, GsfProxy, FakeStore, or BlankStore APKs (from here: https://github.com/microg/android_packages__apps_GmsCore/wiki/Downloads)...
When I try to install through the Chrome downloads tab, I get an error that says "App not installed".
When I try to install through SAI, SAI tells me that the newest version is already installed on my phone in SPITE of the fact that I have never even tried to install them before BESIDES from the unsuccessful attempts at installing them through Chome downloads tab. AND, there are no icons in my app drawer for any of these apps.
What am I doing wrong, and will ALL of these apk installs produce an app icon in my app drawer?

Don't know how can this happen. I'm afraid but maybe you'll have to reinstall this rom.
@avinashvenu2
you may consider to uninstall the Phone PE app by means of ADB.

How to bypass error "This device is not compatible with your device" fix

I have recently upgraded to a Google pixel 7 pro from a S21 ultra, however the one app I am wanting for my dash cam isn't compatible with my new device, I have tried worked around e.g. APKS (they just say they are not compatible and don't attempt to install) I've tried the other APK store however the app still refuses to install device is update to latest android and all cache and stuff has been cleared, Is there anyway around it?
