that app from mate 10.. you have y9 prime it will not working with your phone .. by the way screen recording is file system how you deleted? maybe you disabled this app not deleted because you must have root to do this...
try this ,, open AppGallery, go to Me > Installation manager, find Screen recording if there install it, if not serach for it you will find lot of screen recording .. if you want the orginal or the app still can't be restored, kindly back up your data and restore your phone to its factory settings

I deteted it with app gallery by huawai from there you can ever uninstall every app i am trying to do something and by mistake i deleted screen recorder

like i said this is file system you can't deleted without root, i think you uninstall app update only and the original app need restoring again.
try this on your home screen swipe down then in the search box write screen recording, if there you will see the app and restore it..

No bro it can be deleted from huawai app store from app store i go to insall manager then i selected screen recorder and then i press delete button and it was deleted

yes i delete huawei video but only delete the update only and back to the factory version see second photo.. and when i searching for it again i found it in app gallery and need for update only (see in first photo )

so i delete stones theme and it's app system too, and the theme disappeared from phone and i search for it in app gallery and not found it like your situation and i did that:
in home screen i swipe down and i write stones and searched for it, i found it like in screen shot and i restore it again... just do like i said open your phone > on your phone screen Swipe down by your finger > you will see search page > in search box write screen recording and press ok for search if there just click restore

Disable the Auto Download Media Feature, then you must type manually on every Picture or Video to be downloaded.
When you delete the downloaded Media in a Chat it can't be shown anymore... I think that's not hard to understand.

The funny thing is, is that I all ready have auto download media feature disabled, yet its still saving the media to my phone!??.
Once I delete that media, that media just shows up as a blur in the WhatsApp chat!? I just wanna be able to view it on whatsapp, without having to delete it from my phone & then becoming a blur!

You must understand one thing first. WhatsApp do not store any media you or your conversation partner sent on any server (or thats what they want us to believe). Thats means every picture, voice message or video have to be stored somewhere on your phone for you to actually have access to them.

Download the version 1.80, backup the conversations in Official whattsapp, unistall it, and install reborn.

This worked for me: download QuickPic from Play Store, hide the WhatsApp Images folder and then delete QuickPic.

Hi there,
I recently bought Oppo A57, a great mid-range smartphone. I tried to install my favourite messaging app, i.e., Pulse.
However, there is a strange issue I am facing while making it the default SMS app from the settings. Even though I manage to successfully set it, the app accesses all the permissions etc and works pretty well until I recieve a text message. Right after it a prompt pops up and says "For your messages security, System message app has been set as the default message app.". It is quite annoying!
How can I change that security?
Kindly help me to resolve this issue.

No, I got Redmi device. Oppo will never allow other ROMS on their devices.
Also to add some more detail regarding the issue; I rooted my device and disabled the System Messaging app using Titanium Backup. It worked but I would always receive same prompt that I mentioned on receiving a text message, but this time it wouldn't revert back to the system app as it's been disabled. Moreover, I tried Xposed frameworks as well to hide that system prompt but had no luck.

You can't, as far as I know. They have restricted apps like SMS or Dialer to be changed from default. It isn't possible to change in Color OS 3.0, F5 Youth has upgraded version so you should try it. They might have changed the restriction.
Go to:
- settings -> additional settings
- application management
- default app management (located at bottom)

i have deleted my stock sms app and installed switch sms as system app. Its fine now but there is always a pop-up coming but the switch sms app won't change now ??

first of all i have rooted my oppo a57.
After root i have an app named as "device control". I used this app to delete my default sms app.
And than i use luckypatcher to make my custom sms app as system app ??

I'm having problem with multi touch, it's annoying when playing games.
And sometimes my phone took so long to charge. I tried using stock adapter, and ugreen with quick charge 3.0. But still doesn't make any difference. So i think it's software related issue.
Can you make a fix for these problem? Like custom kernel so it can charge faster?

I can work on with the help of similar fix used in Pixel phones. A magisk based solution but it will be fixed officially with next OTA containing June security patch so not worth the effort.
Wait for OTA it is android bug.
My phone is stuck on Zenfone Logo and I'm on 311. It's stuck there for about 3 min. and that's not normal, I think.

WebView is just an additional app for me .. I use Chrome Dev which can provide me WebView.
I use Google Inbox and user should have an ability to remove this app.
Calendar plugin is just an addon for people who do not use Google Calendar to keep track of shedules.
It's all personal opinion and most of the apps are available in PlayStore so you have the alternate to install the apps as user apps.

The wallpaper issue is due to Live Wallpaper Picker being removed from v305 in the device.

Yes, not active I suppose. Maybe something to do with permissions. Even if you delete it, the folder remains although the contents get deleted

Is there any app lock in this "ZenFone max pro M1" like ZenFone 5 (2014) inbuilt. I can't find any and I need it badly. Some friends don't even ask "can I have it", of course I don't mine but give me some space.

I was using ZenFone 5 2014 and try the lowest price "Mi 5A" but eventually jump back Asus now. And I hate this stock Android experience thing. No lock for apps, no hiding options for app, no cloning options for app. I thought Asus is perfect but now I can c there is no difference at all. Don't want to go too deep but that ZenUI launcher was best for me. But now now grid size, even drop down menu where all that Bluetooth, wifi toggle switches placed is annoying. Why just 6 toggle switches at a screen. ZenFone 5 has smaller screen but it saws everything at one place. This new stock Android can't use space properly or what?
I think I have to switch back to Nova launcher. Hate all this new experience.

Works for me using the older app.
Use the older app from apk pure https://m.apkpure.com/developer/ZenUI, ASUS Computer Inc. Or from apkmirror https://www.apkmirror.com/apk/zenui-asus-computer-inc/
Not a fan of Asus Apps, but the Google default dialer is just not good...
Google dialer has too few options, e.g. don't have option to show dial keypad once launching Google dialer... So weird.
The Google contacts is good though. It's nice to see the contacts and dialer are two separate Apps.
Lastly, thanks for Op's efforts. I will try these later.

That's a really weird error message, did you installed something on your smartphone lately ?
When an app request a permission, it asks for it right away, it has been like that since Android 6 (the creation of the feature). So I think it might be a malware. When you click on restore, what does it do ?

You need to grant Instagram the permissions it requires or Instagram won't work. You can't deny its permissions and then expect the app to still work without those permissions being granted.

When i click report it does nothing, i literally cannot install app anymore, my internal storage is full, and i just use the phone for whatsapp, ig, youtube, the error come out of nowhere. But thank you

Ok that's definitely a trap, don't ever allow anything, review your app list very carefully and come back here with screenshots of apps that seems suspicious. Sometimes viruses have a transparent app icon, if you see a blank space in your app list (usually it's at the end of the list but check the whole thing) click on it and uninstall the app right away.
The malware can also come from an apk you installed (from a normal app like a WhatsApp mod or just a normal apk), so check the battery consumption of every app you installed through an APK file, and if there is a heavy usage one, it might be the one. Come back here with the screenshots of the app list and the suspected apps before disabling/uninstalling anything (to avoid erasing something important to you)

You can't install an app - here IG - two times or even more often on an Android device. You always have to completely uninstall ( means including its data ) it first and foremost and then to re-install the app in question.
