Lineage 16.0 signed build for Yureka | Yureka+ [ YU5510/AO5510 ]
Build type : UNOFFICIAL
Disclaimer : ROMs are built for development purpose only. Use at your own risk.
This ROM completely compiled on lineage source code and with minimum workarounds for a successful build.
No extra features are added. ROM is loaded with default lineage apps and working smooth. This ROM supports from 1.6 GB to 2.5 GB system partition and available on both test-key and release key. Test-key version of ROM is signed with public keys and it is free to download. Both test-key and release key ROMs have common features but release key ROMs have enhanced security and apps which requires release key build wont work on test key build .
1. ROM-Signed test key
Note : Most of the UNOFFICIAL ROMs built by developers for yureka are signed with test-keys (public keys) . For testing ROM features and smoothness, test-keys is not an issue but release key signed builds are always preferred when ROM is used as daily driver.
Download Lineage-16.0-Test-key
Features
* With all lineage features untouched including the kernel.
* Enforcing selinux
* Crystal clear sound
* Certified device status under google play
* SafetyNet Test is passed
* Smooth ROM experience
InstructionsUpgrading to LineageOS 16.0
1. Make a backup of your important data
2. Download the build and also Gapps.
3. Download proper addons packages GApps (arm64) for Android 9.0/Lineage OS 16.0
4. Make sure your recovery and firmware are up to date
5. Format your system partition and install ROM.
Give enough time for ROM to settle in first boot and restart after first boot. Enable developer option on settings and change animation scale to 0.5x . Then yureka will rock on pie !
Feel the difference
Note: This build does not support VoLTE and default partition not supported.
2. ROM-Signed release key ( Donate Version )
About release keys
The Android tree includes test-keys. Building an Android OS image using make will sign all .apk files using the test-keys. Since the test-keys are publicly known, anybody can sign their own .apk files with the same keys, which may allow them to replace or hijack system apps built into your OS image. For this reason it is critical to sign any publicly released or deployed Android OS image with a special set of release-keys. Lineage official ROMs are always signed builds. Since lineage drop support for YU Yureka, I prefer to build unofficial signed ROMs and will release my builds on xda android development .
Note : Nowadays some apps will work only on ROMs signed with release keys .
Features
* With all lineage features untouched including the kernel.
* ROM is signed with release keys .
* Enforcing selinux
* Crystal clear sound
* Root not needed.
* Secure than public test keys release
* All payment apps work with valid device certification and secure at payment gateway.
* Certified device status under google play
* Smooth ROM experience

Just copy the zip to pc or laptop. Use winrar and extract update script from metainf/com/google/android/update-script. Edit the file using notepad++. Delete all lines starting with "assert" and save it. Replace the modified script to the same folder of your zip using winrar with compression option "store". Hence issue solved..now you can tranfer the zip to device and flash through twrp.
I will delete those lines by default during next build. Some yureka user facing this issue:good:

Thank you. After editing I could flash. Cannot reduce brightness level - full brightness whether it is on 0 or 100. Can you fix TV Cast?

Have you tried anyother pie ROMs.? Do u notice same problem .?
For brightness adjust settings on statusbar system UI. Keep it in full scale
I think TV cast uses widewine security level. It works only on signed builds. Have you tried Tv cast on my non volte signed oreo rom.?
If possible check if it works and report back:good:

I tried almost all Pie roms. I face this problem on this rom only. I did not try decreasing brightness from the status bar but tried changing %age and slide bar.
TV cast works on all Oreo roms but not on any of the Pie roms. I do not use any apps for TV cast, Just connect TV through cast from settings.

Will look into this issue. My source is different from current pie ROMs and needs some update.
If possible Take logcat of your error. For logcat, Just connect your device to usb with adb root and adb debuging enabled ( after installing only ROM+ bluetooth patch pack ) in your pc. Dont flash security or magisk patch. Install adb drivers in your pc and take logcat. Type "adb logcat -d > logcat.txt" in adb command window. Now you see logs report moving on command window. Now you have to open cast from settings. Wait few sec with cast open . Your error log got saved in txt file. Send that txt file here or to some other developer:good:

About
MoKee OpenSource is based on the Google AOSP. We update our source code frequently to keep up with the latest development, and not forgetting to merge in special features of our own at the same time.
A small group of people from around the world who are interested in Android launched this project on the 12th of December 2012, and is committed to make this ROM better and better. Like most contributors of open source projects (Omni, LineageOS, Slim AOSPA etc), we are doing all these in our free time as our passion…
Since this project is open source, anyone interested can participate in the development (maintain new devices, contribute code etc). Newcomers are always welcomed!
Read here for developer application: http://www.mfunz.com/en/developer-application, you can host your unofficial MoKee builds on our server!
Features: (I will mention only that which does not take into LineageOS)
Listview animation
Interpolation anmação listview
Update over the air can download the download website only incremental, it helps lower faster update and upgrade more easily:
Some icons and own layouts
Manager for Google services, so no need to use a large gapps, you can only download necessary at MokeeCenter
Ringtones, Alarms, Notification, UI sounds are all different CyanogenMod, thus bringing a beautiful charm to rom
bootianimation own
information integrated into MokeeCenter
Settings to add speed data network
Settings for navigation bar
Settings for Statusbar
Intelligent control settings to configure the newer apps and others.
Downloads official:

J500FN
What is the difference?
RELEASE: Tested after integrating new features, more stable than NIGHTLY. (Odexed builds)
NIGHTLY: Built daily with newest code and experimental features, might contain undiscovered bugs. (Deodexded builds)
HISTORY: Final odexded builds once a newer Android version is out and being built.
EXPERIMENTAL: Released when a new device is added or when a new feature is added for public beta testing and feedback. (Deodexded builds)
UNOFFICIAL: Maintained separately by individual developers, usually involves modification of shared code which cannot be merged (affects other devices), therefore maintained by the developer himself.
Note: We always test the shared code for bugs, however sometimes we may not be able to detect device specific bugs. If you have such issues, it will be better to report to the device maintainer.
Changelog:
Here
Gapps recommended
http://opengapps.org/
Installation mode :
To install the clean rom:
Download the rom
enters recovery
make all wipes (all)
choose zip from rom and install
you can use a gapps any of its taste since it is for android 7.1.2
or you can go MokeeCenter after starting rom, there you can download the small gapps integrated into the system and have a lighter and clean rom.
To install upgrade:
Method 1:
just download the complete package via OTA
enter the recovery
only to wipe cache and dalvik (optional, I do not)
install the complete package downloaded via OTA
Method 2:
Download the complete package over the air and go on to install update
let install automatically for you
Method 3:
Download only incremental updates
for that you need to donate 30 CNY for the team to release the feature on the device directly
But you can do this update without donation
just go on the site and click below build itself where it is written (upgrade: OTA to MK ...)
there will be the incremental free for you, this will save on your data package or in your spare time.
Thanks @martincz for development organization github

i instaled the 22-04 nightly and the mic in record(call-record, record-audio.apk, video-record.apk from the phone) work. Whatsap i dont use!
BUT the audio level is very low.(maybe it can be set from mixer-path.xml in systen/etc, once all the rest audio work properly)
@EsromG5
Still no conection on mobile data, only via wifi
The rest are working fine from the start!
i noticed in this nightly the setup-vizard dont oferr to can conect to wifi(how is normal) before you can set the google count.
for wifi in setup-vizard, must drag the notification drawer, opend the settings and set the wifi conection then go back to the setup-vizard and continue the rest of settings
Thanks!
PS.
by default, Selinux is "ENFORCING"

That is good but did you try also controll if there was mic audio after a call? Also if you do a video and then look at your video, after that the back speaker keep on working even if the video is finished. You can hear it if you approach your back speaker to your ear, there's a disturbed sound, like "shshshsh". To make it normal again you have to soft reboot or reboot

Notch implement very well?
Have flashed and tested the ROM a little bit:
1. I have flashed the ROM only, nothing else. My device is encrypted. Booted without problems.
2. There is a flickering when booted and prompted for the SIM pins
3. Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and Hotspot working properly
4.Brightness/Adaptive brightness is derped. The screen is too bright, adaptive brightness faulty. The slider can be moved to 0%, but it:s too bright though. Know this behaviour from other ROMs in the first builds. Have also an weird red screen while browsing through the developer options.
5. Hide notch option in developer options has no effect
6. Notch doesn't look much pretty, even i have setup dpi to 392.
7. Taskbar doesn't work
8. Boot does not wake up from lockscreen, when D2W is activated.
Otherwise very smooth and fluid. Will test more.
Good job!

Nice. I have tested Bliss just few minutes last night. Today can test more.
Generally it is a pretty good ROM. I like it because it's lean and does not contain unless stuff. BTW I am testing Bliss OS on my laptops these days, so I am aware of stuff.
Thx.

I downloaded it from here
https://forum.xda-developers.com/poco-f1/how-to/xiaomi-poco-f1-unlock-bootloader-custom-t3839405
(twrp installer zip, I don't know who compiled it as op didn't mention it)
or
you can download it from the folder I shared
I have been using this recovery without any problem.
Just follow the instruction carefully.

Already installed.
The rom is fast and smooth. Finally autobrightness fixed and can hide notch.. :good:
But, signal icons position is swapped. I'm using internet with SIM 1 but instead appears as SIM 2 in statusbar (see attachment) :silly:
Hope will be fixed in next build... Thank you.

[ROM][7.1.2][Stock kernel version] LineageOS 14.1 for Yureka | Yureka+[YU5510/AO5510]
Build type : UNOFFICIALDisclaimer : ROMs are built for development purpose only. Use at your own risk.
This ROM completely compiled on lineage source code and contains lineage kernel 3.10.49. ROM contains some additional features which are not available on official builds of lineage for Yureka / Yureka+. ROM is loaded with default lineage apps and working smooth. No need to flash volte modem separately in this ROM. Whether using modem ( volte / non- volte) VoLTE is working for jio, airtel and for some LTE networks. This ROM is available on both test-key and release key. Test-key version of ROM is signed with public keys and it is free to download. Both test-key and release key ROMs have common features but release key ROMs have enhanced security and apps which requires release key build wont work on test key build .
1. Lineage VoLTE ROM build-test keys
Note : Most of the UNOFFICIAL ROMs built by developers for yureka are signed with test-keys (public keys) . For testing ROM features and smoothness, test-keys is not an issue but release key signed builds are always preferred when ROM is used as daily driver.
1. [VoLTE] lineage-14.1 Nougat ROM
Features
* With all lineage features untouched including the kernel.
* Enforcing selinux and updated sepolicy.
* VoLTE and ambient display features.
* Crystal clear sound
* Better battery backup and stable
* Certified device status under google play
* SafetyNet Test is passed
* Smooth ROM experience
Instruction
Download Gapps
Copy the ROM along with downloaded gapps package to sdcard and flash through twrp.
Screenshots
* Enforcing selinux and updated sepolicy.
* VoLTE and ambient display features.
* Crystal clear sound.
* Better battery backup and stable
* Root not needed.
* Secure than public test keys release
* All payment apps work with valid device certification and secure at payment gateway.
* Certified device status under google play
* Smooth ROM experience

Volte is not supported on this rom. I was on crdroid nougat with volte modem. I wiped data and sytem and try to install this rom. I got band mismatch error like lineage builds. That is the only reason we are not using stable lineage because of volte.
It will be best for us Rakesh if u make it volte optmised rom.

Volte is nice feature:good: but official source code of lineage does not support volte. i am just fresher in ROM building and will try to add volte and post it here if am successful with the build.
For twrp error: If you are flashing with volte modem delete the lines starting with "assert" in the updater- script and rebuilt the zip before flashing. rar and notepad++ software can do this. Updater script found in META-INF folder of zip. Then flashing works.Volte modem detected in this build but not sure about volte..:good:

ROM updates added [ Lineage 15.1 ] https://forum.xda-developers.com/yureka/development/rom-lineage-15-1-yureka-yureka-t3874623
The ROM is great.
But now I am getting random reboots
Any solution?
Edit : Got Automatically fixed. No idea why
Hoping I will get a reply this time.
Some of the apps force stop automatically like Gmail, Discord, Clash of clans, Zomato etc.
Is there any fix? I have tried clearing cache but the apps still crash

I had replied to previous thread. I have asked about ROM ?
Ok, those apps crash because the ROM u r using may be signed with test keys or u have rooted ur phone.!
Next is the available of free space in RAM. ! What ROM u r using now.?

Thank You for replying, No idea why I didn't get a reply even though I regularly checked this thread.
I am using this ROM. Yes, I have rooted my phone. I don't do any kind of intensive work on the phone. Neither I use applications which keep on running in the background and consume the RAM. So I guess I can say that around 800MB memory is free most of the time. But the apps still crash. Even though suspected that it might be because of insufficient storage, I later realised that 40% of the internal memory is free (Around 4-5GB) which I guess is enough for most applications. So I don't think so it is due to insufficient memory.
I guess the problem is related to "signed with test keys" which you are talking about.

I dont have pc to compile ROM. I borrow laptop from my brother to compile rom on his leisure time. So i cant say estimated time of building rom. In the meantime i will work on device trees. Next build of all roms (N/O/P) will have VoLTE as primary feature.
Mostly , I also try to avoid root. Only for the no way situation i go for root.
Will notify you when nougat volte build is ready.:good:

Actually I've come to a decision, I feel like I should stop android development
It's just that for the past few days I've been away from android mostly, and it felt pretty good
I guess its time for me to be a user
Or a tester perhaps
I'm taking a break from android development, I'm really sorry to give you all hopes for Android 11 from my side. But I want to focus on my studies more. I spend too much time on android discussions and bug fixes
I hope you guys can understand

Tl;dr: No more updates for this./This is discontinued.
(Try out my MintOS! It is an mix of AOSP and LineageOS)
Build Instructions:
Make Sure you have setup your build system according to Android Guidelines, if not, official way to do so can found here. There are certain specifications to be met before you can build aosp, make sure you have enough specifications on your computer!
Also you have to setup repo tool from google
Code:
# Prepare folder to setup repo tool
$ mkdir ~/.bin
$ PATH=~/.bin:$PATH
# Downloading and setting up permissions for repo tool to work (You require python for repo tool to work!)
$ curl [url]https://storage.googleapis.com/git-repo-downloads/repo[/url] > ~/.bin/repo
$ chmod a+x ~/.bin/repo
Initialise AOSP Source Code from your favourite source (Here, aosp is being used.)
Code:
# Make sure you sync the code in a directory other than your home directory
$ mkdir ~/aosp
$ cd ~/aosp/
# Initialise the AOSP source code (Warning the code is several hundred gigabytes large!)
$ repo init [url]https://android.googlesource.com/platform/manifest[/url] -b android-10.0.0_r20 --depth=1
Clone my manifests, for both proper build system and device specfic requirements.
Code:
$ git clone [url]https://github.com/mvaisakh/aosp_cedric_local_manifest[/url] -b android-10 .repo/local_manifests/
Now to syncing! (This might take several hours depending on your internet connection speed!)
Code:
$ repo sync -c --no-tags --no-clone-bundle -j$(nproc --all)
Building AOSP for cedric! (This will take a while to build, depending upon your specifications.)
Code:
$ . build/envsetup.sh
$ lunch aosp_cedric-userdebug
$ mka bacon
After the Build succeeds, your rom zip will be found at:
Code:
~/aosp/out/target/product/cedric/
Flash and Enjoy!
NOTE: My device tree can be used to build other roms too! Just use the cedric.xml from my local manifest and modify device tree according to your rom and enjoy!
NOTE 2: I will not help with build errors that you might face with building, there are many guides and resources on the internet for doing that. Please keep the thread clean and void of such posts!

Well, I have tested this stock Android 10 ROM, the truth is very fluid and that, but it has the same lineage errors as the Chrome videos and the camera, although here the launcher is more optimized than lineage, but I am left with lineage because it's bring more customizations it's not bring any of that, this is clean android stock, but it's ok

Well on my own device (Xiaomi Redmi Note 7, Pixel Experience 10 ROM) Pokemon Go doesn't work unless I flash Magisk and then use Magisk hide on it. However on my sons Moto G5 I have tried Lineage and even with Magisk and Magisk hide enabled Pokemon Go doesn't work unless I manually open Magisk Manager first, which I can't have him doing he's only 9 and he's going to cause some damage to his device if i'm not careful. Really don't want to go back to stock as it's awful on Moto G5. Was previously using Pixel Experience but as they've stopped developing it I wanted to try something more current. Also I found that Pixel Experience took up too much space leaving him not a lot of room for apps.
I'll just keep trying different ROMs.

Introduction
LineageOS 17.1 is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 10.0, which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device. The port for the Exynos7580 based devices was created by @Stricted and I along with many contributions from other people in the Android community.
All the source code for LineageOS is available in the LineageOS Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to LineageOS, please visit out Gerrit Code Review. You can also view the Changelog for a full list of changes & features.
What works
Calls, SMS, Mobile DataCameraNFCWiFiBluetoothTorchSensorsGPSHWCWhat doesn't work
IMS services (VoLTE, VoWiFi, etc). Samsung has their own proprietary implementation. It is not really possible to easily port that to LineageOS.You tell me!
Known Issues
If you are running the latest update and are not able to enroll a fingerprint you may need to clear the fingerprint data using this zip (flashable in TWRP): https://mega.nz/#!6YZV2QTY!hOYYwrbkTPfThUIJUffOEQWMosdCxeqy_7JdGpYp3AA
There are still quite a few features that are not yet completed for LineageOS 17.1, these are not bugs this is a beta release.
Any hardware related issues will be ignored if you do not provide:
a) Logcat
b) proc/last_kmsg
c) data/tombstones
d) dmesg
Also do not under any circumstances post bug reports if you are using substratum themes or unsupported magisk modules or you have performed any system modifications
Installation
Install the latest TWRP (Available Here)Make a full backup (just in case something goes wrong)Do a full wipe (Cache, Data, System)If this is your first time on a LineageOS ROM format dataDownload the latest LOS build and transfer it to your phoneInstall LOSIf you are installing GApps do it at the same time (preferably in the same install queue)And finally boot, the first boot can take several minutes as it optimizes all the appsDo NOT install the TWRP app when prompted, this will cause a bootloopDownloads
Latest Official releases HEREOpenGapps HERE(ARM, 10, nano)TWRP is availableHEREMagisk is available HEREThanks
@Stricted@l-0-w@danwood76@sekil@alexax66@macs18max (BT call audio fix)@BorduniAll the testers on the Discord group (https://discord.gg/8fp9cr7)And all others who have contributed to the Exynos projects past and present.

and what are issues with it ? has pixel (google) apps? I need closest rom to pixel experience and so far only this one seems to be compatible with my device. (any suggestions?)

Yes. You can flash this on any Exynos variant of the A7 2016.
You can flash gapps from https://opengapps.org/ I would highly recommend you flash the pico Android 10.0 ARM variant as it is the most light and jank free GApps package.
After you boot-up, you can download and install Google apps such as the dialer app. Make sure you set the apps like the Dialer and the Messages as the default apps in Settings -> Apps and Notifications -> Default Apps
Let me know how you feel the ROM is.
Thanks
Thanks for the good work bro. It's smooth.
Fingerprint still not working
Hi
My fingerprint sensor is not working with this OS. Why ? Will you be fixing that in a future update
And thanks for this project man. Galaxy a7 2016 seems to be a very uncommon phone because almost no custom ROMs support it.

Well it's not working on my devices (sm-a710m variant). When I open the fingerprint setup well it's like the fingerprint sensor wasn't detected (I just get stuck on the "touch sensor" screen.
I wish I could provide logs yes but how Using bug report ?

https://www.xda-developers.com/what-is-adb/ this should help. What we need here is a logcat. Once you've followed the instructions in the above guide,
type in the following when u open the fingerprint registration settings page:
adb logcat > log.log
and send that log to me
