I just got the Y6 2017 edition. I'm planning to root it. I wonder if I will be able to get the security/performance updates when rooted? As I can't with an Samsung phone I have. How is it with the Y6 phone?

The phone is based on MediaTek chipset Hence you can try MediaTek's MTK Droid Tool to root phone's Android.
Yesterday i found my old Huawei Y6 2019.
I want to use this phone as my second phone but it's very slow.Can someone send me rom to flash this device?
