Do you think at the 24 second mark that foldable is real ? it looks awesome
Looking forward to see the final release but be prepared for sticker shock, likely to be the most expensive device ever.
It'll be interesting, but it's going to take a few device generations to evolve...
There is a fold cut in centre of the display and the bezels are too big in this and we can't expect flagship specs in this foldable smartphone.

I think that the foldable stuff in the long run is going to be used more for wearable gear than it is for the phones themselves. Think like a bracer type device or clothing like materials.

The original source of the story, phonearena.com has cast doubt on it since the picture was photo shopped and they checked their records on the tipster: (I cannot post links yet, but it was easy to find with Google)
From their article:

This is not simply because the icons on the Nexus 10 2013 were obviously added later -- this could have been done for illustrative purposes anyway. I am not saying either is fake, and I am hopeful it is announced/released soon, but phonearena added a caveat to their story, and it is the source all the other's are quoting or copying from. So I remain hopeful but suspect.
I hope it isn't fake, but who knows?
I do find it really odd that there have been so many Nexus 5 leaks but nothing on the new 10 yet.
The designs leaked so far look superb, and I would definitely be wanting to get one.

I hope the image is fake then there is still a possibility of front facing speakers but I like the specs, if there is an lte version it will be very difficult for me to not get one I don't know what everyone else things of the specs but thats my opinion

Have to agree with you on those two points.
The only things I don't like are the cost and all the Samsung bloatware. Not sure if I'd use the S pen either....

I thought that, until I used it for a week. Now the bloatware is coolware in how S pen integrates with the environment so well.
After using a system that has S Pen, I'm not sure I could work without one.
I used a capacitive stylus with my Nexus 10, and seriously there is NO COMPARISON to S Pen. S Pen has the ability to register the pressure and more, so the ability to the graphic artist is a leap over SIMPLE TOUCH.
Yeah, it's that cool, if you'll use the stylus. Even casual note taking is great.
I think this is the reason Microsoft added it to the Surface 2.
Touch alone is sooo 2009/2010.
I would not get a tablet with such a tiny bezel. I love the Nexus 10's bezel. The rounded sides are also quite nice. I think it's highly underrated.

Seems there is zero leaks or any real info about the N10... I don't think its launching with N5. I think it might release closer to xmas..

I don't think they would release a Nexus device without a major Android update and I don't think they would release updates so close together...but I could be wrong.

Oh.. I think you'll see TWO new Nexus 10 models.
Nexus 10 from Samsung with existing specifications and 64GB.
Nexus 10 from Samsung with 64GB and unlocked sim LTE.
The 16GB will be retired (just like the Nexus 7 8GB edition was). 32GB will be the new low end.
Just like the Nexus 7 line that had the 32GB and 3G/HSPA+ models silently release, the Nexus 10 updates will also be a silent release (no launch party).
But with the changes, you'll see the pricing drop so that the 64GB is close to the same pricing the 32GB is currently.
Launch party will be Nexus 5 and Kitkat 4.4
I have to give my friends Samsung Note 10.1 2014 edition back this week. Based on the experience, the S Pen truly compels, but I'm going to stick with my N10 for a while longer. July 2014 is when you'll likely see the N10 2014 edition.

You are reading media hype until it actually ships.
Lets see the proof:
1. Point of sale system shows "ASUS" made N10. Has anyone entering data for stores/warehouses never made a mistake, not once?
2. Leaked Press "render". If I was part of the press, I could photo-chop all sorts of tablets and say it's a render based on educated guesses. Stretch an ASUS N7 and folks looking at it would say, "hey that looks like ASUS!"
Questions:
A. Where are the parts order news items you normally see with the ramp up of a product? Usually there'll be leaks of the back shell, etc.
B. Samsung wouldn't have this as they are not just a parts assembly company, it's all in house for the most part. ASUS would have LDC panel orders, etc. Yet it's oddly quiet.
C. What was Sundar Pichai saying? Sure the head of Chrome and Android teams could be wrong, or his quote was taken out of context by Amir Efrati.

Sorry you lost your money, but it looks like an idiotic product anyway. Double the size of your phone with an ugly case, then carry around a honking-great handgrip as well? No thanks -- if you're going to add all that bulk, you might as well just carry a real camera.
I know, I wanted to show there was support for android accessories seeing as they were almost always for the iPhone only, plus I wanted it for a tripod mount for time lapse photography.

By photo studio you mean the picture editor where you can edit photo with filters, cropping, drawing on them or stuff like that or an actual studio where you can stitch pictures and video to make a sort of montage?

It was an editing thing see attached but not playing next video is ridiculous,the slideshow has been trimmed down its bare bones touchwiz i can name 20 things the note 4 has and edge hasnt.

I think it is because the note 4 is supposed to just be a beast that does everything while the s6 edge is supposed to be an entire design overhaul, going back to the basics.

The perfect phone doesnt exist, and criticism will always exist. No matter what Samsung do, they will always be criticized. I have swam in all the pools (almost, except for windows phones) I've been with Apple for a few years, LG, Sony, HTC, and have always came back to Samsung. They are the only company that take risks all the time. Apple took a few risk in their early smart mobile devices years, since then, they've played it safe and let other study the market for them before finally playing catchup. On the other hand, Samsung take risks all the time, every year, and they know how to admit defeat, but at least they tried. Some call it gadget spam, i call it market perfection. Who knew an almost 6 inch phone would be so popular, Samsung, who was the ONLY company that fit a projector into a phone? Samsung, who was the ONLY company to take a point and shoot camera and make it make babies with a smartphone? Samsung, who was the first company to taylor a VR headset to a smartphone, yup, Samsung. Who was the first company to fully curve a side of their phone, and if that wasnt enough, make it 2 sides. Who is the only company to have 5 smartwatches on the market? Or to have enough balls to stand up to google by using another open source os like tizen?
Remember that day the all mighty Apple showed their iphone 5 on the keynote saying that making a phone taller is perfection, but making a phone much taller and much wide is ridiculous because when you hold it with one hand you can only reach less than half of the screen realestate? Well look and them now. I used to think of Apple as the innovator, sure, they perfected the touchcreen phone and created a new category of devices with the ipad, but their innovation stops there. And thats also when other companies turned to another player to copy. Nowadays, whatever Samsung does, other will follow soon enough or die trying.
Thats why i've always came back to Samsung. Their products change so much, sometimes for the better, sometimes for the worst, they put to market dozens of different smartphones every year, unlike other major players like HTC or LG that make almost identical phone every year, this allows them to adjust to an ever evolving market and always stay on the top of their game. Love them or hate them, like I always say to apple fanboys, on the inside, we're all Samsung.:laugh:

I disagree with it being iPhone like. At first glance it looks like an iPhone, but if you spend longer than three seconds staring at it you will see it is a typical Samsung design. Also, the software is mostly Samsung's style. The only thing the s6 edge has in common with the iPhone is the port layout and overall performance

the phone design is fine its the software i find iphone like,theres lots of stuff thats useless like baby monitor or door bell and things like auto play next video could be kept in im annoyed its premium outside and bare bones inside but saying that its somebody on ebays pride and joy now so ill stick with note 4 until it stops working as i feel note 5 will go down the same route as the s6..

Why should I install a custom firmware for something I have paid more than $500? I think that Samsung could and should have to respect our commitment to their products because I do not have only a Samsung phone, I have also and TV and Blu-ray. If I wanted to install custom firmware I would have bought a cheaper device.

Stupid sales policy, What else could it possibly be!
Samsung wants people to buy the S7, S6+, S6, Note 5 and other newer phones by attracting customers towards these gimmicky features. So if they would roll out updates including these features to phones that are a generation behind then the sales of newer phones would go down. Since, people would tend to go for cheaper "last-gen" flagships as they would still be better than most of the newer non-flagship devices that have such features!

Nothing can be done about it afaik because samsung knows no matter what they do, what ****ty policies they have a huge population of people with the money in their pockets are gonna buy their new phones no matter what.
I am sorry to say that but you are right. Though I think they have started to reevaluate their policy uploading their apps on the play store and with the Note 4 I have got 2-3 more OTA updates compared with Note 2 with which I have got only 1 update.

That may happen but only in a very small scale, unfortunately at the end of the day Samsung makes overall better flagships than HTC or LG and they know it. And I have consider both brands, actually I'm waiting on HTC 10 release. But more likely samsung's camera will still be better and I will get the Note 6.

i wrote many time....they dont care...S4 and N3 also updated like touchwiz note4.....note4 was 2014 september phone...note 5 was 2015 August phone...fk samsung...so i need much more people report for what we need...6.0 no changed UI and everything,just changed s pen ui?so..that is our last update??you can find on youtube ..."note 4 marshmallow"....
I always felt kinda secure, proud and comfortable with owning Samsung Phones until the release of Galaxy S6 and S6 edge, i mean no card slot, disappointing battery and no water/dust resistance but just some samsung so-called innovative features and gimmicky apps (Ignoring the Specs as its become a trend with all Brands). They wont change their policies neither do they actually care about the customers, all they care about is competing with others in terms of specs and acquiring lots of money by setting launch prices as high as the sky. Later on they decrease prices of older models by 40-50% thus making sure that resale/exchange value is almost negligible. And in regard to themes and other Software features, do you really think they would implement them in older generation phones? I mean, why would they even bother when they already know samsung sales would never go down just because they dont provide software updates which INCLUDE these features!

Screen sensitivity is poor (on mine) waiting to hear from mine about returning it tbh.
Like the form factor. Coming from note 20 ultra it's not as slick. Not sure on whether to keep or go back to note.
My Duo 2 all okay. Frustrating no good cases yet. Need ability to lay it flat for note taking. Perhaps the Duo Surface Pen case will have a suitable lip all round?

Try disabling google assistant seems to cure any screen sensitivity issues, mines almost as slick as my old note 10 now
