When OTA update released I downloaded and try to install it but it didn't install the update , I was disappointed . after lot of research I findout the the reason behind it -
1. You need to install remix os via the remix installer app ( provided by jide )
2. Rooted user can't install update.
Now get back to update procedure. Its super easy guys. I install the update and rooted the remix successfully.
STEP
---------
1. create a partition any size you want ( 20gb ,40gb, etc..)
2. Format it to NTFS ( I did ).
3. Install remix os in that partition using remix USB installer tool provided by jide. Then restart , select remix on boot.
4. Follow the steps ( wait 20-30 mint )
5. Connect wifi ,after succesfull install , you will see desktop as usual.
6. Go to setting --> update . it will automatically start updating .( that what happen with my device ) . if you can't see update then go to option and select the experimental option and check auto update .
7. After downloading update it will show reboot and install. Press it
8. It will install the update ( I hope for all device ) . wait 5-10 mint .
9. After succesfull update installation . restart PC or laptop , open windows , copy the system.img file inside remix os folder ( that's the updated system.img ) . Root that system.img file like we did earlier using RMX tool 1.5 .

Don't forget to make a copy of system.img before start rooting. That's the updated system.img . if anything goes wrong you can use that system.img no need to do all the steps again

You can use one of this 2 forms:
You can download the system.img then Open CMD (in windows) or Terminal (in Linux) (First of all you must have minimal adb (in windows) or have installed the android tools in linux) If you have it, continue reading, if not, read below that I leave as install
1.- (thermianl or CMD) in the directory where you have the system,img and write For example

What version magisk are you using?
I read somewhere that dolby started crashing after updating to magisk 20 and that version 19.3 works fine

If you got update to Android 10 (11.0.1) Respective (MIUI 12.0.3) and you want to get the Dolby and the Viper4android and make them work together just fallow the steps.

Android 9 MIUI 11.0.8 :
(!) Dolby was not tested in MIUI 11.0.8 ANDROID 9, Test it at your own risk. Using the same installation steps but using Dolby for Android PIE! You can find it at the forums, no more support for Android 9 since i got update to Android 10.
(!) Viper4Android works and tested with MIUI 11.0.8 ANDROID 9 with the same installation steps.

Don't try with other Twrp like Orange Fox Recovery. It won't work and you will get boot loop (orangefox recovery does not have encryption features and does not have Ota update full support (disable/enable protection so you will get bootloop due to security reasons. )

After the phone hase been rooted and the Magisk works fine (you have root)
Download the V4A version : 2.7.1.6 (You can find the rar arhive in attachments / extract it to your phone and install the apk / dont flash, only install the inside apk)
***ONLY THIS VERSION OF V4A IS WORKING WITHOUT ANY PROBLEM // IF YOU WANT THE NEW VERSION OF THE VIPER4ANDROID YOU WILL NEED SOME MORE STUFFS LIKE Se Linux Permisive / Audio modification library***
Go open the V4A application and install the driver (your phone will reboot automatically)
After reboot done the V4A should work.

DOLBY INSTALL :
Download the Dolby. Zip for Android 10 (Files in attachments!!! /// Dont try other version, it will crash!)
Flash it using Magisk and reboot your phone.
Now the Dolby should work together with the V4A
PLEASE READ!!!!
If you do all the steps and Dolby app closes and it doesnt work, you will need to uninstall the mod from magisk manager, restart phone, and flash audio modification library! Restart your phone flash again Dolby, and again restart your phone!
If not work after that, uninstall Dolby again from Magisk modules! Don't restart your phone yet. Flash Se Linux module module via Magisk and set it to permissive!
Then restart your phone, install Dolby again and reboot phone again!
The mod works with some phones without installing any audio modification patch. But in some cases you need that patches.
Now all the thinks should work! If not.. The latest think you should do :
Go to system /etc and copy audio_effects.conf and ds1-default..mlpaste it to system/vendor/etc!
I don't need audio modification library / se Linux permisive but i found some stock Roms with the same phone, who needs these paths to make Dolby work!
!!*Viper4android driver should not be affected after those modifications*!! If you got problem with viper after these modifications just reinstall the driver!
So we got V4A + Dolby + Stock equalizer full working all together(!)
Issues :
Dolby :
When you open the Dolby if you will set something it will close the application ( when you turn on / off the aplication / the surround..
The app Will close but the Dolby will work normally!!! You can change the eq settings in dolby without any issue.
When the Dolby app closes it won't affect the audio effect from Dolby. It won't stop working. You can open again the application and set more things!

Hi, after some trial error I was able to install Havoc 3.1 on my SM-M307FN dual sim model, but unfortunately there is no dual sim support in this version of Havoc, or am I missing something? Didn't find any related settings in Havoc settings so far... please confirm...

hm, so i went a little wild and tested successfully these five GSI images, all listed bellow booted on my phone, but only one SIM card was enabled/presented and i didn't find a way how to access both my SIM cards, so for now I am going to back to stock firmware... if anyone wants to try be my guest, you can safely skip "power off" steps from OP steps to flash to save some time (or not its your choice - worked for me) also if you get error after first try to resize system - just try again it will work on second try (tested several times)...
I didn't tested much, but none of tested system images had working auto brightness, dual sim support and maybe several broken things which i didn't noticed, you can find for yourself ... if you have b***s
