why every call i make and every recived call i get i seems to not see the contact user picture?
when i go to my contact i see all the contact pictures but not during outgoing or incoming calls ? any solution?

Could try deleting the picture from the contact and re add it and see if that helps.

i will try but i have 700 contact it will be pain lolll anyway i dont have the contact photos i just sync the contact from my google mail and there they got the picture

is it possible to send a text message as restricted?
Restricted to what? The sender? Who else would receive it except the sender you specified?
just the recipient. just like a restricted call. *67 blocks your number from caller id. is there a way to block your number from a text message so it shows up on the recipients phone as 'unknown' or 'restricted'?
go to a website that can send a txt message and dont put your number in?
Oh you mean, hidden sender.
There was an app to do that awhile back, but certainly not in the native SMS app on the phone.
I would just use www.vtext.com

heck yes i am. minus the fact that if i send a restricted text that means i cant put a call back number on it. the reason i first thought of it was because some kid was bothering my little sister, and i wanted to message the kid without him getting my number. but i ended up calling him anyways
I find this pretty hard to understand, why isn't their a simple switch to change your incoming calls ring tones [for all your calls, not changing them one by one]? Pretty basic setup I think
any ideas?

ditto.......very easy actually. Since you had so much trouble figuring this out let me tell you now, you can't assign a ring tone to each contact if you have them saved as a gmail contact..

But you can import your gmail contacts as a phone contact, link the two, and then assign a ringtone to the phone contact. Kind of redundant yes, but I like it better than having all the email addresses I've communicated with via Gmail showing up as Gmail contacts on the phone.
Actually there is an app in the market that allows you to assign ringtones to each specific contact, even gmail contacts. Unfortunately I bricked my phone last night and can't just look to see what the name of the app is. Once I get my new phone and get it going I'll post the name of the app.

I wanted to see if anyone else is having this problem or if a solution has been mentioned somewhere.
Basically when I receive a call, the contact name and information doesn't show up. Instead, it just displays the number. In the call logs, the names also don't show and I can only see numbers. I installed exdialer and everything shows as should be with names in the program, but the problem is when calls come in the display defaults to samsung's dialer so I still can't see who is calling.
I'm on a deodexed LF6 stock rom. Any help and / or suggestions greatly appreciated!

Which Contacts are displayed in the Contact list? Which contacts do are you choosing to display?? Do you have contacts on your SIM card??
I've chosen to display all contacts from all accounts. No contacts on sim but I've also checked to display that as well.

Double check you haven't doubled up on your contacts. I recently updated my uncles S2 to ICS, and he had this issue with only numbers being displayed. when i took a look further into it via the contacts menu, i found multiple entries for the one person. For some reason that was enough to confuse the phone and only display number only for calls and texts. Did you do a contact back up when switching to the custom rom, or anything contact related when switching? Even any kind of back up you made, when restoring, could have done this. But most times ive seen this issue, its due to have one too many of the same contact!
Have you tried choosing just one at a time??
thanks for both of your suggestions. It neither tips worked, so I deleted my google accounts and then reloaded and it worked.

That's why I never link any accounts with my Contacts. I only use contacts from the Phone itself.

Hi all,
I'm hoping someone can offer a suggestion for my problem. I have a Note 4 Global and my default messaging app (mysms) will not receive MMS's. It can send MMS's OK just cannot receive.
I've contacted the mysms support and they say it's a problem between my phone and the network. I find this hard to believe as the default messaging app, Textra, Mighty Text and Pulse all can receive MMS.
I want to keep mysms as my default message app as I like the way it syncs messages to my Tablet. Yes, I have tried many others but this is the most reliable. If it would just receive MMS's.
I did not have this issue using mysms on my Samsung S3, it has only happened since I started using the Note 4 so I'm thinking it might be a permissions thing.
Any suggestions greatly appreciated.

I have the same problem, i have 10 favorite contacts, just one is when i call or receive have washed picture.
