Hi all,
I'm considering the LG Stylo 4 and the 4+.
I'm pretty concerned about the camera though and I was wondering if any one can provide the output from the app Camera2 Probe, which gives elaborate specifications for the rear camera.
The 4 is the phone that is on sale at MetroPCS; the 4+ is only available from Boost mobile and is pricey.
Thanks in advance.

So my Desire X is dead now.
Looking to buy a new phone.
I'm struggling between:
Moto G(8GB)-found it at 130$
Lg l90 dual- around 180$
Xiaomi Redmi 1s- 160$
Few advices.
Which one would you choose.

Well the specs are all kinda similar.
I don't find anything great about LG L90, compared to these two it dosen't even have an HD screen.
Xiaomi makes some great devices, and i like MIUI they are shipping with. Also i think Xiaomi has a better front and rear cameras.
Moto G has a solid dev support. The 4G version got an official CM11. Not so sure about Xiaomi.
Did you consider Nexus 4 ?
Moto G is defintely the best of all. My brother got it and it's a great phone also as said by nightwalkerkg it has a solid dev support (3G variant) that you will be able to have a lot of future android updates.
xpirt
I did find Nexus 4 at around the same price like Moto G so most probably i'll go with that.Aside for a slitghtly better screen and battery nexus 4 wins it.
But for the most part yes:Moto G or Nexus 4 cuz they will have a long like on xda.

I'd go with the nexus 4. But the choice is yours.
Hi,
Why isn't it possible to use the HDR+ camera algorithm on the Nexus 4 device, running Android 5?
Guess HDR+ have nothing to do with hardware(?), so why haven't the nexus 4 been updated?

Actually it's related to the hardware.
How is it related? Nothing special is needed for the camera to take x number pics with different exposure and combining them....
Hello,
If i'm not wrong, the stylus of the model LG Stylus 2 is an passif stylus and could work on many devices.
If someone could export Pen Pop app (and more) from LG Stylus 2 to the LG G5, it's could be perfect for note taking with the new nano-coated stylus of LG Stylus 2.
Maybe, the work is already done with the first version of APK of the first model of LG Stylus.
Or other ideas or apps ?
Best Regards.
A-Q
I would like this.
I found very few information about the availability of the LG Stylus 2 and his official accessories, i think we must wait the beginning of may to see more news for the selling of the device, for the apk and for the official pen who cost certainly 10 $ as the old model.
In all the cases, i wait infos as you and the other who are interesting about my topic. Also, i'm curious to see what Android N could have in plan about stylus expansion.

The LG Stylo 2 is a rebranded LG Stylus 2 (a handset that was released last month in South Korea), and can be bought from Boot Mobile for $179.99. Also running Android Marshmallow, the LG Stylo 2 sports a 5.7-inch 720p screen, and obviously comes with a stylus pen. Other features include 13 MP and 5 MP cameras (rear and front), a quad-core Snapdragon 410 processor, 2 GB of RAM, and 16 GB of expandable internal memory. Virgin Mobile will launch the device on May 9 and the device are already available from BoostMobile.
One month and i think that people could extract and adapt apps
If you have time in the weekend and love reading^^, this is the manual :

Hi, is there a way to get the Huawei p9 camera app on non rooted LG G5?
I really liked its after focus feature and I wonder if it is possible to get it work on my LG G5.
Thanks
It's hardware specific, it uses two cameras to take the photo and that is how it can be edited. Porting would not provide that on G5
I am thinking to get a budget phone like Xiaomi redmi 4, or 4x or Lenovo P2. However I am not sure how is the camera quality in these phones against our g2.
Any feedback please?

go to gsmarena, put all 3 devices in compare and see the differences...
many if the newer devices have better camera than lg g2...
yesterday, my wife bought a Huawei Honor 7 Lite (or 5C) and it beats my old lg g2 camera by a mile... mainly because a much better sensor and lower\brighter f-stop lens (f2.0)...
and the price of that new Huawei was around 210$ (carrier free)... sure, it can be found even cheaper on the internet...
The camera of the G2 is much better than the camera found on the redmi note 3 pro. I guess that the camera on the other budget Xiaomi phones ain't gonna be special, either. In daylight you can't see much of a difference between the G2 and the Xiaomis, but in low light the G2 performs much better. To sum this up, you don't buy Xiaomis for their cameras. You won't be so disappointed but you won't be amazed either. You should think of other criteria before buying a new phone.
Hit thanks if I helped!

Well, a xiaomi ticks all my requirements, minus the camera performance. I think that camera has become so advanced in new phones that is difficult to neglect it.
Which phone under 300 usd has the best camera today?

Take a look at the mi5s. It's in your budget if you buy it from China and it's probably one of the best Xiaomis out there. When it came out it had some problems with the fingerprint sensor performance, though. I don't know if it has been fixed. The Lenovo zuk z2 (pro) is also a good option.
