I have a problem with my redmi 5 plus.
I have unlock and root my phone then i have to install orangefox and lineageos 16 (trebble), it's work but orangefox said : "unable to locate storage device" and "mtp already enabled"
And after when i connect my phone under linux mint, i have a message who said : "error : libmtp could not get object handles"
I don't understand why and I haven't found a solution that speaks of "unable to locate storage device"
do you have an idea, please ?

How to write a message about some problem with the firmware:

4. Attach a screenshot of the error or errors, try to write with the help of the program CatLog - Logcat Reader Choosing menu "log level" and tick on the "Error", press record, and try to reproduce the error, after the successful recording, save the log and attach it to the message.
5 . No need to send a message (Private Message) to submit to this topic because someone will definitely prompt way out of this problem, users are faced with a similar error can read discussions on this error and maybe find solutions for themselves.

Iam having same problem can i flash twrp without unlocking bootloader?

2.Hold Volume+ and Volume- , but WITHOUT power.
3.Connect it to computer.
4.If your phone's LED is flashing red lights, congratulations. You're now at 9008(EDL).
5.Download "C106-TWRP-需解压使用.zip“ from https://pan.baidu.com/s/1kdgu2YUstL...rentPath=/sharelink2927266148-452227205909178 .
6.Use QFIL(Miflash Public edition is okay,if you like) to flash it.
7.Hold Volume+ and Power（THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT AND YOU MUST GET Cool LeEco Inside RECOVERY)
8.It should boot up.
9.If you reboot to EUI,you need to do these steps again because it will destroy twrp.

But the way is same.
1.Download offical TWRP.
2.Download offical Fastboot(Yes,fastboot) flashing rom from MIUI website.
3.unzip it.
4.delete recovery.img in offical rom.
5.copy TWRP to offical rom's unzip folder and rename it recovery.img .
6.Shutdown your Phone.
7.(Try there two ways,one of them will work)
(1) Hold Volume- and connect it to PC.
(2) Turn it on. Connect to PC. Reboot. Hold Volume+.
If you do correct you will see MediaTek Port (COMx) in your PC.
8.Use MTK-Bypass. Select MT6765(even cactus is 6762,but select 6765 anyway) ,and click bypass.
9.Open SP-Flash.
10.click "Options".
11.Go to "general".
12.Make sure all three options is "false" now.
13.select appropriate files for DA and scatter BUT WITHOUT "AUTH".
14.Click Flash.
15.Reboot and hold Volume+.
16.Then it should boot up.
Same problem with my Redmi note 10 pro any solutions?

Hello guys!
I am trying to unbrick this device but no success for now, no dload, no fastboot, no recovery, not recognized by PC, just image "your device failed to pass verification and can't be trusted" and no reaction on any buttons.
Does anybody know how to unbrick it?

I was running latest Xiaomi EU rom MI10_V12.2.2.0 on twrp 3.4.2b, rom was running fine. I restarted the phone and then it stuck in fastboot...
when connecting to the pc says .
I tried to update the drivers but I'm not able to since the VID and PID are not correct. can someone help?
I've forced the driver install but nothing changed.

When I connect to the PC, unknown device appears "device descriptor failure"
when clicking on the device at events appears
"Device USB\VID_0000&PID_0002\6&8979e7d&0&2 was not migrated due to partial or ambiguous match"
problem is that the MI 10 is not recognized perhaps because USB \ VID_0000 & PID_0002 is not the correct

Hardware ID of my Mi 10 5G are:
USB\VID_2717&PID_FF48&REV_0419&MI_00

Edited: If i connect Mi 10 to PC in fastboot hardware ID change to:
USB\VID_18D1&PID_D00D&REV_0100

Redo the Brom steps. It's either you did not pass BROM or pass with error msg ( if it is, give ss of the error msg )
