Hello everyone.
Is there a modification available that allows the SMS-to-MMS conversion to be disabled on a rooted SM-N910F, running stock TouchWiz Lollipop 5.0.1 firmware (AP: N910FXXU1BOC5 , CP: N910FXXU1BOC4 , CSC: N910FBTU1BOB2), without flashing a custom firmware?

hi, just read about the FOTA (Firmware Over The Air) and woundering if it is possible to get back in any custom rom 4.0.4 or 4.1.1. And/If hos do i get it?
there a few rom's that supports FOTA like Resurrection Remix for the 4.1.1 edition or CriskeloRom for 4.0.4.
*notice that first installation should be via recovery\aroma.
The custom roms FOTA are via inbuilt apps in the custom rom not via Samsung's update service .

Ota updates in custom and stock rom is different. Getting stock firmware updates in custom ROM is not possible

Hi guys,
Root noobie here, I just need some help.
So I have a Samsung Galaxy S5 Ver 4.4.2
Currently -
4.4.2 sm-900I
Baseband: G900IDVU1ANJ1
Kernel: 3.4.0-321551
Build: KOT49H.G900IVU1ANK1
I have rooted this S5 following this guide -
galaxys5root (.)com
This gives me root without tripping KNOX. KNOX is still 0x0. Although I have no issue voiding warranty.
Newest version of Busybox installed.
Now I want to install XTRESTOLITE ROM -
androidrootz.com/2014/07/xtrestolite-rom-for-galaxy-s5-debloated (.)html?m=1
I think I have to install -
Modem - DVU1ANG2
Bootloader - DVU1ANG3
-------
Can someone please verify/explain the order in which to do this and check/supply the right information to run the XTRESTOLITE ROM and add-on AROMA?
Thankyou.
Product Code: SM-G925FZDAXSG
PDA: G925FXXU3DPDR
CSC: G925FOJV3DPE1
Baseband: G925FXXU3DPBT

I want to install a custom ROM so my question is should I check any of the information above and make sure it matches the ROM ?? or its just the version ( 6.0.1 ) and the device for sure
As the ROM I am downloading is saying ( Based on the latest Samsung Stock G925F XXU3DPDP Marshmallow 6.0.1 firmware )
Also I am in exposed firmware should I install the stock firmware before ?

Please note in advance that the KNOX counter will get tripped.
All you need to do is flash a recovery with ODIN: https://twrp.me/devices/samsunggalaxys6.html
And after doing this you'll have to flash a zip file that contains SuperSU: http://download.chainfire.eu/supersu
The zip file will have to be flashed within TWRP recovery.
Again, after flashing recovery your KNOX counter will get tripped. You cannot undo this.
