Hello all i use old android phone samsung galaxy s5.I use stock rom 6.0.1 and i installed old skype 7.46.0.596 version.I turned off auto updating in google play.I hate skype 8 version.This version new interface is ugly and eat very big ramAlso this version is slow.My phone very laggy with this version.But i still receive update notification in skype app.Maybe possible full disable notifocation or is this version mod fully disabled all updating notifications?

I have recently flashed my 5.0 Player to SlimKat 4.4.2 on Beta 1.9 and am wondering if it is possible to use that "Ok, Google" voice command on the GEL. Because right now the microphone is completely hollowed out and I already have my hot word detection on along with my Language being Default - English (US). Any words of advice are appreciated.

Try new beta build 2.1..Till today i was using 4.2.2 on Galaxy Player 5(U.S). I upgraded to 4.4.2 BETA 2.1 an hour ago and you can give commands by saying OK GOOGLE... I have not tried the earlier beta version so I don't know about. I am definitely sure that it works on new build 2.1..I will attach links incase...

Hi Friends,
I needed help and suggestion with regard to a ROM that I selected and MAPS didn't work.
I have Installed the CyanogenMod version 11-20140917-UNOFFICIAL-i9082 (Galaxy Grand Duos)
It has Android 4.4.4 and the Baseband version indicates I9082DDUBNB1
The MAPS which is crucial to navigation doen't work. It keeps saying waiting for location. I tried to force remove MAPS and install it from Playstore. Still same.
This is the only function that I noticed that doesn't work and I need it. Let me know if there is a MOD required or is there a previous version that works fine and stable, so I can move back.
Kindly suggest.

i try with Push Notifications Fixer , but the works not really
The Problems startet at February 2015 at this Time was the Rollout from Lollipop 5.01 in Germany

hello guys i have a weird problem . I used to use fb messenger an older version cuz newer is more SNAPCHAT and eats memory too much .It was working fine until few days back after that I'm not able get chat heads pop ups.. but i can see newer messages when i Open the app . i don wanna open messenger every time to see my fresh messages so i did every thing i know ( cleared cache, data,reinstall) noting fixed but the new version can push the pop ups i dunno why . So i flashed new rom (thought its my rom's fault) but still no i updated all the permission it asked to still the Same no pop ups or chat heads ...so please does any one know how to solve it if so please help me thanks for reading

Possible solutions:
-Change the version of the app. Uninstall and take an older but working version (a.k.a Downgrading )
-Just stay on the Messenger app...
is that the only way??

Downgrade messenger of course. I don't think the device's rom have something to do with the dysfunction of the app...
Hey peps, I'm using a Nexus 5 running the custom rom "Resurrection Remix Oreo v6.2.1-20181209 by*@Hannibal226", running Android 8.1 Oreo (Rooted, X-Posed and Magisk Manager, etc, etc).
I have this open gapps package installed "open_gapps-arm-8.1-pico-20181229.zip" but I see that there is a new updated version dated "14 April 2019" from here...

Should I update? I noticed that when I switched to this ROM my caller ID stopped working. All I get is a phone number when someone calls me unless they are in my contacts then it will show who is calling.
I was hoping that if the phone dialer in the updated pico package version might have been updated?
So should I update (flash with TWRP)? Is there a way to see what has been updated or changed?
Or does anyone know how to make my caller ID work?
