Hey.
i recently got a new LETV X500 1S from china and out of the box i was able to use my sim card to connect to the internet and and send SMS's, however, making/receiving calls just didn't work at all.
after flashing TWRP and a custom rom https://forum.xda-developers.com/le...2r29-rom-crdroid-android-leeco-le-1s-t3673698 everything started working. i could make calls, yay!
now to all you smart people out there, who can explain to me the issue here?
i would like to go back to the stock ROM so i don't have to worry about using Magisk and other tools so my Pokemon go will work (haha, yeah i still play)
anyone have any ideas to how i can use the stock ROM and make calls?
Thanks.

Hey,
My problem:
Yesterday I flashed a few MIUI-ROMs, now I have neither a data connection, nor can I send or receive SMS. Also, calls are not possible. However, I can log in to the mobile network.
Kernel is reflashed, tried another ROM and already restored via SEUS.
Do not go on.
Can you help me?
I had this happen to me, my gsm card went bad cause the phone got hot when i loaded a kernal that was o/c, ATT swapped my sim for free, the funny part was that after I messed with the rom, I got no "faulty sim" or any alert that it was actually bad.
I have a rooted Verizon Note 2 that I had put the last N3BULA ROM on and used with an AT&T sim card. It has worked fine for a couple of years now. Wanted to update it so I have flashed just about every available updated ROM I can find to get either Lollipop or Marshmallow. Every ROM I have tried has the same problems. Everything seems to work with the AT&T APN settings except the Phone itself. When I place a call it does call out but once I'm finished it won't hang up. I have to shut the phone off to get it to hang up. Also, if I call the phone it will not ring and the call will eventually go to voicemail. Does anyone have any idea why this is happening and what I can do to fix it? I was going to try to put the N3BULA ROM back on it but can't find a good version that will work. I'd really like to get it going with a newer rom tho.
Thanks for any help.
Hey Guys,
Desperate lurker here saying First of all thanks for all the guides and everything that the devs and everyone that the community has done. I've search all of google and xda but i can't seem to figure out what's wrong with me Xperia Z2 .D6503
. T mobile carrier.
Basically since yesterday, I noticed that my phone couldn't receive or make any phone calls. but data internet, wifi internet and text messaging was working fine. Whenever people call me, i would just get a voicemail notice. At the time I was on the Marshmallow Existence rom. Ive done a lot of troubleshooting since then and still I can only make a call on GSM Mode.
Here's what i've done.
Wiped data and "reset" my phone on the Existence ROM - didn't work.
Wiped everything and flash Resurrection ROM - didn't work still.
Used someone else's sim card , couldn't receive calls either.
Use my sim card on a different phone - that one worked (SO IT'S NOT THE SIM CARD'S FAULT)
Placed back my sim card in the Z2 and reset flashed the stock rom from this page https://forum.xda-developers.com/xperia-z2/general/stock-t3355768
but that didn't work either.
I've also manually put the Tmobile APN.
Basically calls only work when changing it into GSM mode. but when i put LTE/WCDMA/GSM. Calls made under LTE/WCDMA/GSM Won't even make a dialtone when I make a cal. It basically just ends after a few seconds
I'm starting to think it might be a hardware issue because no matter which ROM i put, no matter how many factory resets and data wipes i've done. I can only make calls on GSM Mode.
Does anyone have any other ideas or should I just cry and buy a new phone.?
I suggest you to flash your phone with flashtool v0.9.18.6 and flash 291 ftf and wipe all
@whatsadophone
Have you try resetting APN for your SIM card when on your device?
thanks to everyone who tried to help. I don't know what happened. but after i tried putting the sim back in the Z2 to check my signals using Signal Spy, It suddenly can use LTE again. Only problem is since i installed that stock ROM, I lost my recovery mode and can't get it back. But i wont push my luck and just keep it like it is till i buy a new phone.

Maybe it could be the carrier problem or this phone is not allowing it!
in sim settings there is an option which you need to turn on for allow internet on calls.
EDIT: It looks like it is a 13.0.4+ issue
Calls also doesn't work with A13 ROMs.
Is there anything I should disable to make the calls working?
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hello everyone,
I sent my Xiaomi Mi Note 10 Lite to Xiaomi assistance because it randomly restarted (due to a power on button bug). They told me they just updated the firmware, from 13.0.2 to 13.0.4 I think, and calls stopped working.
After few tests and different ROMs installed, I found out that calls are not working because the data signal is too weak in some areas.
So the problem is: before I sent the smartphone to Xiaomi assistance I could make and receive calls in the same areas where the smartphone is not working now.
There's something I can test?
Any help on this?
