If you are on other base rom, best practice is to factory reset prior to flash rom and new gapps.
After this steps if rom does not boot, probably you are encrypted, remove encryption and repeat the steps.
If after removing encryption rom still does not boot, make a factory reset again after flashing rom and gapps, then all will be fine.
Also be sure you are using proper firmware.
Relative to gapps, the advised ones is nano package for PIE ( ARM64 ):

For the time being is not possible and with devices with notch it will become a hidden option, at least is what see from lineage move over some commits

am not really expert .. but if it based on LineageOS there is no version to provide ? (they all got same core ?)
i got a few general question about flashing steps..
1- some roms request factory reset then wipe all except internal ... is this still clean or considered dirty flash ? and why the the clean stock(internal) is needed ? does it matter what version of oxygen was before the flash ?
2- other roms (like this one) require installing framewere before flash there rom is this instead of (wipe except internal) , and which version to install ? last beta ? last framewere ? and why the framewere they provide is so tinny ?( 60mb instead of 1.7gb in original) .

If you wipe/format system and data partitions this is clean, it's needed when installing different base is. Best when coming from oos is to update to latest oos ota, then clean flash so you will have latest firmware and vendor.

Firmware contains hardware related drivers/updates, you should always have latest, or at least the one ROM builder wrote in 1st post.
In the 1.7GB you have the firmware included but this is the whole rom.
Can I flash other kernels?

yes is the same only change RAMDISK to use on Mokee OS
Does the kernel contain kexec hardboot patches? I would love to give this a try, but cant give up multirom. And since the ramdisk is for mokee, I am betting a kernel like m-kernel a60 would not be the best fit.

anyway of making it tabletized, beside doing it through romtoolbox?
mokee market is in chinese and i noticed a bug in the notification bar. after removing things in there like downloads it pops back up.other than that its pretty nice having all the customization settings like transparency settings

I'm sorry, I posted in the wrong one. I DL your link for 10.2 w/gapps, and it fauils when trying to flash 10.2. I wiped cache/davlik before and won't flash. Any ideas?

MoKee OpenSource is based on the Google AOSP. We update our source code frequently to keep up with the latest development, and not forgetting to merge in special features of our own at the same time.
A small group of people from around the world who are interested in Android launched this project on the 12th of December 2012, and is committed to make this ROM better and better. Great ROM. Thank you for bringing it to tilapia too. It's very fast and it's stable. The only thing that did not work were some kernel governors (the one from Samsung and lulzactive). I had random reboots when I selected then.

I don't know if all of u r facing this but i find a lockscreen delay i.e the lockscreen shows up a second or two after pressing the power button and it is really irritating...can u please try to find a possible reason for this @TeamMex . I found this bug in your older builds too .Other than that this rom has always been my favourite..Thanks for the rom.

dont flash rom with ota updater and make a normally flash
In in love with this ROM. Especially the animations and the smoothness. Buttery smooth. Battery drain is a little higher than stock, I'm still testing so can't comment completely.
Few things that I miss in this rom
1) I use Bluetooth headset for music, when I connect the headset the volume is too low. I have to increase it. And when I pause and resume the volume goes back to low, I needed to increase it again.
2) Tablet mode, got used to it so much on my nexus 7.
3) 3 way reboot. Been a Samsung user for a long time, it scares me to always use the power button and volume button for rebooting into recovery or bootloader, got the power buttons and volume buttons replaced many times.
Requests (fellow users please don't bombard with things like do it yourself, it's just a request, of not possible, I'll happily continue with what is present)
1) option to disable safe volume
2) option to switch between tablet mode and normal.
3) 3 way reboot option.
Again, thanks dev for this amazing ROM, it changed my usage experience

Wow, thanks for the quick response.
How stupid of me, dint check in Dev options. Will do that now.
Not exactly the hybrid engine but If there can be an option to just change the ui we can edit the rest of the app settings using xposed modules.

Installing CyanogenMod 11 on your Galaxy S II
- Copy GApps and CM11 ZIPs to your internal/external sdcard SDCard
- Make sure you're NOT RUNNING A KERNEL WITH THE MMC-SUPERBRICK-BUG. If you're unsure, flash this ClockworkMod-Recovery using Odin/Heimdall.
- You can also flash this on current recovery: ClockworkMod-Recovery KK compatible zip
- Boot into Recovery
- Flash CM 11 zip from internal/external sdcard SDCard
- Flash GApps zip from internal/external sdcard SDCard
- DO A DATA WIPE / FACTORY RESET (otherwise your device will be stuck at boot)

What is the difference between these builds and the official builds?
These are unofficial builds of CyanogenMod 11 for the i9100.
ROM is built using the same source code (github) like the official one but with these following additions:
Compiled using linaro arm-eabi 4.7.4 13.09 (kernel code) & sabermod arm-linux-androideabi 4.8.3 (rom code) toolchain compilers
Cross-compiled using those custom toolchains results in a more smoother, faster, and battery friendly ROM
What is Toolchain?
In software, a toolchain is the set of programming tools that are used to create a product (typically another computer program or system of programs). The tools may be used in a chain, so that the output of each tool becomes the input for the next, but the term is used widely to refer to any set of linked development tools.
A simple software development toolchain consists of a compiler and linker to transform the source code into an executable program, libraries to provide interfaces to the operating system, and a debugger. A complex product such as a video game needs tools for preparing sound effects, music, textures, 3-dimensional models, and animations, and further tools for combining these resources into the finished product.

What is SaberMod?
The term "SaberMod" is coming from:
SaberMod is a AOSP based ROM with some extra features added in and mostly from CyanogenMod. SaberMod started out pure AOSP when android 4.2.1 launched. Originally it was pure AOSP with a few extra features I ported over from CyanogeMod and linaro optimizations. Then I rebased everything off of rasbeanjelly because I liked many features found in rasbean. Since then I've modified a lot of the code so not much of it is rasbeanjelly based anymore. But you will still find some commonly used features found in rasbeanjelly. SaberMod is not a rasbeanjelly or CM clone, or KANG. Custom kernels are included for certain devices when available. These are personal builds we make for ourselves and originally became very popular in the nexus 7 forums. Features are very rarely added, and are built to SaberMod's team members liking. Currently there are two members of SaberMod working on this project. Myself and @jarjar124 . Please understand our time is limited and we are only two people who have lives, and do not have 25-50 members like CyanogenMod to add things. And our goal is not to add a bunch of features that bloat the system of the ROM.

-O1
Optimize. Optimizing compilation takes somewhat more time, and a lot more memory for a large function. With -O, the compiler tries to reduce code size and execution time, without performing any optimizations that take a great deal of compilation time.

If you are on other base rom, best practice is to factory reset prior to flash rom and new gapps.
After this steps if rom does not boot, probably you are encrypted, remove encryption and repeat the steps.
If after removing encryption rom still does not boot, make a factory reset again after flashing rom and gapps, then all will be fine.
Please be sure you are using one TWRP that can handle firmware flash
Advise to use latest official TWRP
Also be sure you are using proper firmware.

Known Issues:
On dual SIM devices, a SIM cannot be re-enabled once it has been disabled
VOIP calling (problem with the microphone when making VOIP phone calls using Viber, Skype, Telegram, Facebook)
Wi-Fi calling (checked it for mcc="310" mnc="260" only, but I cant check it for me. My carrier supports Volte only for our device and VOLTE works fine for me)
SeLinux permissive (will be fixed when the bugs are fixed)
You tell me
Important: If you have any issues with rom (unresponsive buttons, cannot unlock with fingerprint, etc.) try to wipe delvik/cache in TWRP.
Instructions:
Take FULL backup first from your actual system!
Before instaling, make sure you are running the latest Oreo or Pie firmware from the latest HTC Sense.
If you are encrypted, take a full backup of all your data, boot into TWRP and format data (the option which requires you to type "yes") and clean flash accordingly. This is due to encryption changes. Do not skip this step or you will be locked out of your system by a password prompt.
Download the latest updated TWRP recovery 3.3.1-1 ( thanks @Captain_Throwback ) or 3.4.0-0
Reboot to download mode and flash it: "fastboot flash recovery name_of_file.img"
Download the latest ROM zip from the downloads section below
Wipe /system, /cache and /data (complete FORMAT /data if you're having issues or were encrypted)
Flash ROM zip in TWRP, reboot to system and make initial settings
Flash the latest magisk (optional) after make one reboot.
When system is booted, reboot to TWRP and flash gapps (optional)
Reboot and check apps permissions
Enjoy (as much as currently possible)

I experienced this a few times and decided to investigate and saw that it had something to do with how dex2oat works after you dirty flash (it refuses to optimise properly?). What I found fixed the issue was to manually run dex2oat on everything after it booted into the system, and after it has finished the process (could take super long depending on how many apps you have), everything went back to its speedy state.
How to:
If you have root/magisk:
1. Open terminal and enter the following commands:

1. Enable root for ADB only in developer settings
2. On your computer, enter the following commands in a console/terminal window:

Reporting Bugs
DO NOT Report bugs if you're running a custom kernel or you installed Xposed
Grab a logcat right after the problem has occurred. (Please include at least a few pages of the log, not just the last few lines, unless you know what you're doing.)
If it is a random reboot, grab /sys/fs/pstore/console-ramoops and /sys/fs/pstore/dmesg-ramoops-0. (Do not bother getting a logcat unless you can get it just before the reboot. A logcat after a reboot is useless)
If the problem disappears after running "setenforce 0" from a root shell, grab /data/misc/audit/audit.log
Remember to provide as much info as possible. The more info you provide, the more likely that the bug will be solved. Please also do not report known issues. Any bug not reported in the bug report format below may be ignored.

Hi Golv! Thank you for your work to bring Android 10 to our devices. I tried your build on my HTC U11. Everything is working fine; however, I have a problem with the microphone when making VOIP phone calls using Viber, FB messenger, and even Telegram. The other person could not hear anything from me. Interestingly, the microphone works fine for Whatsapp call and cellular phone call. Also, during the call, there is only sound from the bottom speaker. The microphone is working fine on Linegae 16.0

I install the new rom on my HTC U11 .
BT, Wifi, Call, sms, MMS, GPS are well working.
Battery seems to be good ( for the moment ).
Rom 17.1 with GAPS pico and magisk manager.

Why do you want to upgrade this driver?
I installed the image today. Looks good - thank you very much!
Found the following issues:
- gapps micro variant causes issues (system app stopps working), nano variant seems to work without any problems
- rsap feature does not work. Carkit connects, asks for sim (yes/no dialog appears), but then connection via headset profile will be established despite "yes" was selected

No problem with Gapps micro here.
I did a dirty flash from linageOS 16. Some apps started crashing but after a remove and reinstall they work just fine. Some others needed to have their rights set correctly.

Yes, ARCore and Playground on Google camera work successfully. I used it on Lineage 16 and on stock.
