microphone gain too low + sound stops during video recording - Sony Ericsson Xperia Mini, Mini Pro, Xperia Pro, A

Hello.
I am running CM14 (almost stable and VERY fast!) on my SE Ray.
Using Adrian's fantastic ROM 'lineage-14.1-20170514-UNOFFICIAL-LegacyXperia-urushi'.
VERY GOOD work, really !!!
JUST the following 2 problems I noticed (point 1 also at cm13):
1.) The microphone sensitivity for audio and video recordings is generally much too low. (not for calls!)
Which Android system file sets the mic gain? I would like to modify this setting. (or does this adaption work in another way?)
2.) Always after about 30...40 seconds of video recording the sound signal is not been recorded anymore. Just silence then. Really strange. There is no error message.
Does anybody of you know about this phenomena as well? Who could help to fix this bug?
Does anybody know about AdrianDC? He doesn't respond.
Is there still any developer supporting SEMC 2011 devices?
Thank you very much for any help!!

noisy audio recording

Rooted stock I9300XXLFB (international) version. The audio recording is very noisy. I tried several applications for video+audio recording and audio only recording but the noise is always there (EDIT: except of call recording where the noise is ok but overall recording quality is low, of course). Here are two examples taken with the stock Camera application (with the audio track taken out of the resulting mp4 using ffmpeg). I was hoping that the latest fix from radeonxt might help but it is perhaps even worse (more noise from the lower frequencies seem to appear) - the first one (before.aac) is before the fix, the other file is after applying the fix. Both of these were recorded at night in a completely quite room.
before.aac
after.aac
Is this a general S3 problem or is it something specific for my S3? Any sugggestion how to fix it?
I tried 2 other things.
Noise removal in audacity worked pretty well. Of course, this was a very simple spoken word example and it would probably not work well with eg quite background music but still it shows that the problem might simply be no noise reduction while recording audio.
Then I recorded a fake call (using Call Recorder) - and the noise is not present there. Of course, it is a much lower quality (8000Hz at 6.4 kbit vs 48000 Hz at 45/80 kbit) but still it shows that a software fix might be possible. However, strangely enough (at least for me), the noise is not even present if I turn off call noise reduction in the call advanced options:
mediafire.com/?5liar18ekjt5afm
(sorry for not providing a full link but it seems that suddenly I am not allowed to include links??? I get an error message that new users cannot post links - strangely, I was allowed to do that 10 hours ago)
Anyway, the only conclusion I can make is that is seems likely to me that a software fix is possible.
However, first I am wondering, can somebody confirm having the same levels of noise in audio/video recording? If the problem is in my device then I'd rather return it - I certainly want to use the S3 for recording videos from time to time and it is close to unusable for me at these noise levels...
Any input highly appreciated!

If I knew this is a general S3 issue then I could just wait and hope voodoo for s3 is out soon indeed
However, so far I have not found anybody either confirming or denying the noise on his s3 (I do not personally know anybody else with S3), so I am wondering whether it is not a problem specific for my device...
If anybody with S3 could make some audio recording (eg using the Camera application) under similar conditions (just a few words in a quite environment) and compare the noise level or post the recording here, that would be a huge help... but any report (I think/I don't think I have the same problem) or comment would definitely help me too...
I have just found a few S3 video recordings on youtube that are significantly less noisy than mine, eg http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sfsdxx7dK8k (even though he is complaining about audio, it is still much less noisy than what I get)
So I guess either there are different versions of S3 with different microphones/drivers or my microphones/drivers are not working properly. Anybody has an idea how could I find out what is the case?
Anybody? Any idea, suggestion, comment?

Microphone or sound record issue

Hello, I own a remi3s but I want to expand the question to other remi3 user. could anybody help me to test the record feature of the redmi 3s because I notice an issue. If I record in several Apps a sound like a long permanently humm sound, the sound record perfectly for the first couple of seconds (2sec) and after that the sound level lowers down. Even if I use the field recorder app or the in build Miui Audio recorder I notice that the led indicator of the Audio signal lowers. And than the record is very bumpy during a permanently sound like hum or somthing else. Only if I talk the record is very clear and nearly perfect.
Whats this strange level lowering of the recird signal during hum souns.
By the way I need surch records, because I am an audio engineer.
please could anybody test it on miui or cm based roms
Thanks

Record sound on Swift 2

When recording sound (to a voice recorder or when recording video), the smartphone uses the functions AGC (automatic gain control) and NR (noise reduction). Try to record and hear that the first few seconds the sound is loud. Then the volume decreases and the noise reduction function is activated. Sounds awful. These functions are appropriate for a telephone conversation. When recording music, nature sounds and the environment, these functions seriously damage the sound.
I tried to edit the Build Prop (lines persist.audio.fluence). No changes occurred.
I tried editing mixer_paths.xml and related files. But my knowledge was not enough. I did not receive any changes.
In addition, it is known that on wileyfox swift with firmware cm-12.1-YOG4PAS33J this problem is not present. On later firmware the problem appeared.
Perhaps AGC and NG are sewn into the driver. Or implemented through audio effects in libraries.
Who knows how to disable these functions?
In advance thanks for the answer. And sorry for my bad English
Hi, I have noticed the sound issue with recording audio on the Swift 2. Have tried two different models and found the same thing. Did you ever find a resolution for this? It's very annoying.

@AdrianDC
Hello.
I am already running CM14 (almost stable and VERY fast!) on my SE Ray.
Using Adrian's fantastic ROM 'lineage-14.1-20170514-UNOFFICIAL-LegacyXperia-urushi'.
VERY GOOD work, really !!!
JUST the following 2 remaining problems I noticed (point 1 also at cm13):
1.) The microphone sensitivity for audio and video recordings is generally much too low. (not at calls!)
Which Android system file sets the mic gain? I would like to modify this setting. (or does this adaption work in another way?)
2.) Always after about 30...40 seconds of video recording the sound signal is not been recorded anymore. Just silence then. Really strange. There is no error message.
Does anybody else noticed those phenomena as well? Who could help to fix this bug?
And does anybody know AdrianDC and how I could get him to answer?...
Or is there still anybody else supporting the SEMC 2011 devices?...
Thank you very much for any help!!
