Platform Tools (adb/fastboot):
https://developer.android.com/studio/releases/platform-tools.html#download
Installation:
Make sure your bootloader is unlocked
Download the recovery image from above
Reboot into fastboot
Run this command (Change the .img to whatever the name of file is you downloaded):
Code:
fastboot flash recovery twrp-3.5.0_9-0-max_plus.img
Once it is flashed, please force a reboot to recovery by holding down the Power and Volume Up buttons at the same time until the phone reboots and you see the LeEco logo and the word "recovery" underneath it. (This is because if you allow normal boot after flashing TWRP and you are using EUI ROM and your phone reboots to EUI ROM? It will overwrite recovery with stock EUI ROM recovery. Forcing a reboot from bootloader to recovery prevents this issue)
Known issues:
Sometimes the boot animation gets stuck and doesn't go to menu. As a workaround, please tap power button twice.
Can't flash some Marshmallow based EUI ROM versions (gives errors such as error 7). Please downgrade TWRP to 3.2.1-1 or earlier (such as 3.1.0-0 which is marshmallow based TWRP for x2) as those don't include quota storage support which is used on most Oreo and up custom ROMs. It might also require formatting data partition (Wipe > "format data" button > type yes > checkbox on keyboard)
For the TEST builds of TWRP? Please let me know if this works. If so? I will submit it to Gerrit for official updates.

@ThE_MarD is just a curiosity why you post stuff for x 910 in lemax 2 thread??
Heyyo, w00t! This post is linked on the XDA article for official TWRP builds! :good:
So there is unofficial LineageOS 16.0 unified x2 & max_plus builds here:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/le...2x-lineageos-16-0-pie-leeco-le-max-2-t3850871
There is some bugs that are in the second post of that thread that I'd recommend reading for any max_plus user who wants to try it out... But it's quite awesome that max_plus gets to jump from official Marshmallow EUI ROM to Treble enabled Pie Custom ROMs
My current sources are here and I could use some help with the ES9018 Hi-Fi Audio DAC which is the current issue holding me up from LineageOS official unified builds... If anyone could help me with the DAC stuff? That would be GREATLY appreciated
https://github.com/LineageOsMaxPlus/

Original Post:
@antony82 , the reason is simply because max_plus users post in Le Max 2 XDA forum section and there is no Le Max Pro XDA forum section.
Also, I'm working on LineageOS 16.0 for max_plus and I believe once I get it working? I can convert the work to the current x2 device tree and we can have unified x2 and max_plus builds, which means any custom ROM that would include the same commits will then be able to support both x2 and max_plus as well. :good:
Similar to zl1 has unified builds with zl0, or oneplus3 has unified builds with oneplus3t.

Are you by chance an owner of a max_plus? If so can you please test this build of TWRP?
One max_plus user confirmed it worked... But I'd rather wait for extra confirmation before I apply for official TWRP.

Heyyo @gozef14 @Cateye @sean_han and @LxMxFxD
Please try test 2 TWRP from here, I think the pingpong-split adjustment I made will help once it gets past the initial boot which might have split rendering, but one max_plus user confirmed
Heyyo, test build 4.2 is up! Hopefully it helps with that video lag!
update: nope, please check test build 18 it should be good
Heyyo, NEED TESTS DONE ASAP! I think this truly IS the fixed video lag and screen wake fix! Please report back and let me know!

Heyyo, official TWRP builds for max_plus are up.
Heyyo, new test build going up! Test-22-twrp-3.3.1-0-max_plus_UNOFFICIAL has kernel fixes so that it displays properly (TWRP doesn't need the converting of dsi panel from cmd to video like custom ROMs do) and also updating the decryption blobs from CAF.
Heyyo, my super duper awesome max_plus tester confirmed the kernel fixes work perfectly on TWRP, so the official TWRP build for max_plus was updated to use it.
Hi,
As an owner of a Leeco Le Max Pro X910, thank you for your time and effort. This great phone deserves a stable and updated ROM. If functional and stable Lineage OS 16 could be successfully ported to it that would make us tremendously happy. Thanks again, You gave us hope.
Heyyo @txekalzen , LineageOS 16.0 is ported to max_plus. The only thing that doesn't work is the Type-C to 3.5mm headset adaptor as I haven't figured out how to backwards engineer the ES9018 Hi-Fi Audio DAC so I can build an amplifier in the device tree. All my unofficial LineageOS 16.0 builds are unified x2 and max_plus.
https://forum.xda-developers.com/le-max-2/development/x82x-lineageos-16-0-pie-leeco-le-max-2-t3850871
Thank you for you comments. Today, following your instructions step by step I flashed your unofficial LineageOS 16.0 build and now I am a happy owner of a "new phone" with Android 9.0. What a jump, from a buggy Marshmallow to a delicious Pie.
Thanks again.
Hello. I have problems with TWRP. I reboot phone in bootloader mode (I can see penguin on screen), then I flash TWRP through adb (fastboot flash recovery twrp.img), and when I restart phone in Recovery it's just stay on LeEco Logo and below logo is written Recovery. I tried tu press twice power button and to reboot phone again in Recovery but nothing helps. I have installed Ressurection Remix ROM. Have you any advice? Also, I can flash X800 TWRP 3.3.1.0 and I can boot to recovery, but can't flash any x900 based ROM.
And also I have jus one question. On back of my phone is written something in chinese and LETV X900+ Maybe it's regular X900, not X910 and because of that TWRP doesn't work?
Heyyo @txekalzen , nice! Hope you enjoy LineageOS 16.0!
@MasterChief2 , I'm sorry but x900 is the LeEco Le Max with only the Snapdragon 810 and it is not supported on the LeEco Le Max Pro x910 builds which have the Snapdragon 820. You will have to use TWRP built specifically for your device.
I do not own a Le Max x900 and I am unfamiliar with the kernel source code or device tree for it, so I cannot maintain it, sorry bud.
How to unlock bootloader for Max2 (X910)?
Any link for the usb driver?

Hay
First thank you very much for this work
I have install this like your instructions and so far this Rom works fine
I will test this rom and if i find an issue i will report
Great Work

Can I install this rom on the x20 3gb ram ??
Yes, I've got the 32gb x20 but not tested it yet.
TWRP question. I've already got the TWRP from when I rooted, is this version essential for Lineage?
Installed no problems using existing TWRP.
Flashed as per instructions using the zip queue function
Restoring apps with Titanium
Bugs so far
camera force close when using HDR - I've seen this bug on other ROMS.
This Rom is also for the 3gb 32gb Version.
Ive tested antutu with 66k score.
It seems this Rom need a bit more RAM after all closing i have just around 800mb RAM free.
But Rom is stabile and smooth so far.
I Miss some function of stock Rom but maybe anyone can implement it some day
The button runs well but if i press the button it goes sometimes to clear RAM window.
I have same issue with camera with hdr.
Elephone s7 mini
Dear forum,
a question to this lineageOS Rom. Does it work also for the s7 MINI?
In order of getting rid of the Spam Ad's and a clean install, I would prefere this option
regards & many thanks

So far evening is going fine, I think I have a conflict with gravity box on the pull down status bar tiles. But it's just settings I'll figure out soon.
The one thing I miss is the ability to hide the nav bar but the touch home button seems to be working better than my old stock ROM.
Lspeed & xposed running fine

Have you done custom ROM before?
First stage is to install twrp, you can then make a full backup of existing ROM and root it.
You can then try the ROM if it doesn't work just restore the old.
But with root you can disable or uninstall those firmware ads.

I used the sp flash tool. I also used the scatter file and twrp attached in this forum. It shows that its flashed successfully and then when I go to recovery I still have the stock one. I also tried to flash via s droid. It asked me to unlock bootloader. I did that and it flashed twrp but it gave an error unable to mount storage and kept rebooting.
Any ideas

It's so long ago i cant remember, i only toggled the option in developer options.
No other fancy unlocking.
I know i had driver conflicts on my own laptop so it would see my phone in flash tools.
I used a friends laptop with flash tools and it worked straight away.

Installation:
Make sure your bootloader is unlocked
Download the recovery image from above
Reboot into fastboot
Run this command (Change the .img to whatever the name of file is you downloaded):
Code:
fastboot flash recovery twrp-3.5.0_9-0-x2.img
Once it is flashed, please force a reboot to recovery by holding down the Power and Volume Up buttons at the same time until the phone reboots and you see the LeEco logo and the word "recovery" underneath it. (This is because if you allow normal boot after flashing TWRP and you are using EUI ROM and your phone reboots to EUI ROM? It will overwrite recovery with stock EUI ROM recovery. Forcing a reboot from bootloader to recovery prevents this issue)
Upgrade instructions
Download desired TWRP version
Reboot to recovery
Select Install
tap on "install image" and select the TWRP.img you downloaded from step one
select the recovery partition and install the TWRP.img to it
Reboot to recovery and confirm that the updated TWRP image is installed
For the TEST builds of TWRP? Please let me know if this works. If so? I will submit it to Gerrit for official updates.

Attempted fixes for encryption
unfortunately it seems the pulldecryptfiles.sh script doesn't always work and on some newer versions of EUI ROM can even fail to work at all... Importing the vendor/lib64 encryption files directly into the device tree for TWRP fixes this issue.
vendor/lib64 files pulled from 1512699115_LE_X2_X820-CN-FN-FEXCNFN5902812081S-5.9.028S
*** Please note, decryption fix isn't 100%!!! I think I need to use the Indian 5.8.019s decryption files as decryption fails when testing from indian 5.8.019s to custom Oreo ROM hmm... ***
Jan212018
Switched decryption to blobs from Indian EUI ROM 5.8.019s
unfortunately it seems the pulldecryptfiles.sh script doesn't always work and on some newer versions of EUI ROM can even fail to work at all... Importing the vendor/lib64 encryption files directly into the device tree for TWRP fixes this issue.
crypto files pulled from LE_X2_X820-OS-OP-FGXOSOP5801910121S-5.8.019S (Indian 5.8.019s) because it has encryption and it's forced encryption.
It seems Chinese EUI ROM doesn't have encryption capabilities only Indian EUI ROM which could be why switching from Indian EUI ROM to a custom ROM causes decryption to fail.
xxxhdpi screen density and support for extra languages (eg Chinese)
Heyyo, if you have problems with MTP drivers on Windows? Please check device manager as Windows messes up the device driver installation. Select it and update driver and manually pick a driver like in the example picture.

LineageOS is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 10, which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.
LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. LineageOS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.
All the source code for LineageOS is available in the LineageOS Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to LineageOS, please visit out Gerrit Code Review. You can also view the Changelog for a full list of changes & features.
Introduction:
This is the official Lineage OS thread for the Motorola Moto X4, codename payton.
We support all the T-Mobile, International, and Project Fi variants, as their bootloaders are unlockable, while we can't support the Verizon and AT&T variants, as their bootloaders are permanently locked.
How to install:
Boot the newest TWRP .img from the Official TWRP Project Site.
IF YOU ARE COMING FROM STOCK AND WANT TO INSTALL CUSTOM ROMS FOR FIRST TIME, INSTALL "Copy Partitions Zip" FROM POST #2
In TWRP, click "Wipe", "Format Data", then type "yes" as prompted.
ADB sideload the newest weekly
(Optionally) You can flash the newest TWRP Installer also found at the Official TWRP Project Site if you wish to maintain TWRP, though the pre-installed Lineage Recovery instance will do everything you need it to in most cases. We don't recommend or support the use of the TWRP installer, as it is overwritten on every update (will need to be re-installed every update), and has no addon.d-v2 persistence.
Click "Reboot, then choose "Recovery", this will boot you to either Lineage Recovery or TWRP depending on your choice to install TWRP or not. It is necessary to reboot between ROM flash and GApps/Addon flash due to verity/slot-swap logic.
(Optionally) Flash GApps - MindTheGApps arm64 are recommended, OpenGApps are compatible with A/B as of 09102018, but I still only reccoemend and support MindTheGApps.
(Optionally) Flash SU - you'll need to turn it on from in developer settings after first boot Lineage OS SU Addon. - Magisk works fine, though is not supported.
Reboot
Notes:
Official Lineage OS builds will not pass CTS/SafetyNet -- due to the AVB flag's "red" status. (Magisk works fine, though is not supported.)
Official Lineage OS builds ship with full treble compatibility, with VNDK runtime enforcement! This means that unlike most "ported treble" you'll see, ours is just as it would be from the OEM, and can run any GSI (yes, even Pie!) without need for hacks or additional flashable zips. We relabeled /oem as /vendor (as /oem isn't used in custom ROM's anyway). To use a GSI, flash official Lineage, then flash your GSI, it's that simple! Flashing a factory image will likely write over /oem and remove the mock vendor image. Please don't report GSI bugs here, report them instead to the GSI's maker.

Also happy to report that Magisk works successfully by sideloading the zip in TWRP (Data will not get decrypted when you boot into TWRP after the first boot - just hit cancel to get to the TWRP main menu > Advanced > ADB Sideload and sideload the Magisk ZIP.) SafetyNet passes too! And Google Pay works (finally!!! ...It was broken for me on stock).
Just got set up:
- AOSP firmware flash working on google fi version running 7.1
- Twrp decrypt not working with pin on the linked twrp or 3.2.1.1. Have to remove pin before booting to recovery
- videos recorded are choppy and lag during playback through camera app. I'll check when I install another gallery app but I rarely record so not a huge issue right now.
- bluetooth working well
Liking Lineage so far, especially the dark theme it seems to default to. I'll update with more as I play around with this. Thanks.
Speaker not working
Edit: seems it's just media, not phone
Just ran into an issue, speaker doesn't work with any app I've tried. There is sound with Bluetooth in the same apps. Attached some logcats.

Interesting. Working for me - tested using the Amazon Music app.
Edit: YouTube was used to test as well. However, the speaker volume level across all apps is lower than stock.

Huh, just tried and it stutters and no sound in YouTube. What model are you using and did you have Oreo already? I'm on the Google fiber variant and came from 7.1. maybe I need to upgrade to stock Oreo then flash.

But I wanted to thank you guys SO much for working on this. I see using Lineage as the long-term plan for my phone (and my wife's) but these are our daily drivers and can't afford them to be offline for long. Once it is verified solid, I will likely switch. Thank you again!

Introduction
Hello Friends!
I had troubles to find current builds for my devices so I decided to make regular builds for my devices. When my friends told me about similar problems, I extended the builds to include their devices as well. So these builds were and are mainly for my friends and me, but I finally decided to provide them also for public download.
My unofficial Resurrection Remix (LuisROM) an awesome combination of performance, customization, power and the most new features, brought directly to your Device.

But i found an other issue:
palm rejection is not working properly, like in most custom roms
Good to see another Custom rom for our tab s3. Thank you Dev. Will give it a try this night.
Hate to say it, this one is not stable, tried previous build but same results, random restarts, system fc, freezing etc. Sorry can't provide logs.

If a PC works, that simply means the USB works. If a cardreader AND an USB stick do not work, that means that USB-OTG does not work. Which is it, please?

LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. LineageOS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.
All the source code for LineageOS is available in the LineageOS Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to LineageOS, please visit our Gerrit Code Review.
Code:

This phone is still alive, that's impressive. Good job for this work, moshe, you outplayed yourself again with these updates!
Very good rom, the fingerprint sensor even if you configure it does not detect finger.
New build,
Changes:
1. All the fingerprint issues should be fixed now, it works perfectly in my testing (including on the setup wizard, and across reboots)
2. Added wireguard support to the kernel

Amazing, this is very very good news, congratulations to the developers, I hope the official version will be soon among us. Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!
I guess you don't speak spanish, but...
Es increíble lo que estáis haciendo con este teléfono!!!
Muchísimas gracias por seguir dándole vida.
No Fingerprint Scanner or Camera functionality
Details:
On LEX727 (ZL1_NA)
Installed lineage-18.1-20201222-UNOFFICIAL-zl1.zip after a Factory Reset.
Installed using TWRP version 3.5.0 (from official link: https://dl.twrp.me/zl1/twrp-3.5.0_9-0-zl1.img)
Your link to flamegapps didn't work (it said wrong version for your build), so I used: Nik Gapps (https://sourceforge.net/projects/nikgapps/files/)
Any ideas on how I can duplicate your success?
Fresh install and fingerprint scanner fails to register any activity and open camera fails to open the camera.
I'm happy to help however I can. Just let me know how.

It sounds like your persist partition got messed up, you'd have to either try flashing lineage 16, or stock, or flash the persist.img from the qfil zip as a last resort (don't flash the whole qfil zip though), as for gapps you probably downloaded the wrong one
Works surprisingly well. I've made this my daily driver. Coming back to my LeEco after giving up my Pixel 2 XL, I'm hard pressed to find anything I miss from the 2 XL that I don't get here. Moshe, you're a rockstar! Thank you!!!
Flashed from Lineage OS 16. Did factory reset then rom & gapps. It's stuck on the boot animation.

I'm happy to do re-flash using LOS 16. I was just hoping someone could teach me, what is special about lineage 16 that will help the persist partition that LOS 17 or this build can't do?

Basically Google made some changes to how persist is handled in android 10 and android 11 that can cause issues, flashing an older version and then flashing the update can sometimes fix it

Make sure you're using the recommended gapps and wiped the system, cache, data, and dalvik cache

Didn't work. I've been looking around and can't find any guide to update the firmware. Is it safe to install via twrp or is there a different way to do that?

Well, it totally worked. I flashed LOS 16, completed first time setup (not sure if this was required or not), and then flashed your ROM again and fingerprint scanner and camera started working again.
Thank you for teaching me. I'll have to remember that trick.

Yeah just use the recommended twrp, if it's still not booting then I'm not really sure why that would be happening, make sure you're not flashing any extra mods or anything

Got it working now. Thanks. Did wipe & format then version 16. Then another wipe and it booted up.
So, I've just realized that I'm only getting sound out of the bottom firing speaker instead stereo sound out of both speakers like my other le pro 3 running on the official LOS17.1 build.
Is there a setting somewhere that I need to toggle to enable this again in this great build?
