Great to see a new developer on this thread and especially when this rom gave me 40k plus on antutu.Great port very fast and smooth.Wifi bluetooth hotspot and both sims working and that covers the main functions.Everything else great with me.If you need louder sound just install viper4 android.Sound mix is great and and for gaming no lag whatsoever. And of course rom is very stable with the Lineage base.Great work developer and if this rom is anything to judge you have great future and have put life back on the J5 2016 thread.Highly recommended.
I'll test this rom as soon as possible and give my feedback. I have a thing to say though. You need to link sources etc.

Thank you, thread updated!
Hi, this is really a great ROM, thanks man Flashed it on my J510FQ (+ gapps nano) with TWRP 3.2.3. First reboot ended with download mode. But I rebooted again & this time it worked and the ROM booted normally. I can easily say that this is the fastest and smoothest custom ROM I've tried so far. Everything seems to work perfect (except the known ones like VoLTE etc). No lags, crashes, unstability issues so far. Battery life is also perfect with respect to this performance. Charging seems to be fast but I am not %100 sure about that (ROM doesn't have the battery charging info). So this ROM seems to be (at least) like an official Samsung Oreo update with customizing add-ons. Thanks again, keep up the good work..

Reboot in download mode sometimes happens on some oreo ROMs first boot, it happened to me on RR oreo and LineageOS 15, i used LineageOS 15 as base to port this ROM so...
Hello! I look forward on flashing this ROM on my J510FN (Single SIM). This would be my first time flashing a Custom ROM into my phone and before that I have some questions... I will be glad if someone answers to them. Is this ROM compatible with my particular model (J510FN)? Will the camera take pictures as same as stock? Will my battery degrade it's health from not running the Stock ROM? And if i want to go back to Stock ROM through Odin will the phone work as same as before (excepting voided knox)?
If someone asks to my questions, Thank you very much!

1- ROM works on SM-J510FN/MN/F/GN
2- The camera is not the same as stock but you can try open camera for that
3- Battery will be ok
4- The phone will run the same as before but KNOX will remain 0x1 (sorry for bad english)
I recommend to flash OC-Hotplug kernel if you want

HW video decoding does not work (falling back to ffmpeg right now)

Move to OSS audio driver again (works for everything but incall audio, problem might be with libsecril-client, reverse engineering that library...)
Full Exynos display IP acceleration
Move to Mali R7P0 Marshmallow drivers (currently not working because Samsung made changes to private_handle_t in Marshmallow that need to be reverse engineered)

I already have 14.1 running (actually I had 14.0 since Nougat came out), but there are some added instabilities.
I'd rather spend time on fixing our open source gralloc so we can use the camera with that and finally move on to the proper R7P0 Mali Marshmallow blobs.
Samsung will probably drop official Nougat by then, which will make it easier for me to debug and reverse engineer.
In fact, I just fixed a really nasty bug in gralloc (which would lead to segfaults aka system crashes if you play 2-3 videos): https://review.cyanogenmod.org/#/c/177606
And no, this won't ever be taken down
Apart from providing the full kernel source, the whole platform is available for anyone to download and build.

You Tell Me (How ? See Q7)
FAQ
Q1: When ${THING}?
A1: No ETAs. Don't ask.
Q2: How often will builds be produced?
A2: Whenever I get to them and feel like uploading.
Q3: But ${THING} isn't working for me. I cannot live without ${THING}.
A3: Not surprising, cm-14.1 is still young. Some features aren't ported and some may still be buggy. Maybe cm-14.1 isn't ready for you yet. And don't cry.
Q4: Xposed?
A4: Don't know. Maybe, maybe not. I'll ignore you if you complain about something and are using Xposed.
Q5: Can I complain about something?
A5: I'd prefer not, but be prepared for me to ignore you.
Q6: Can I report a bug?
A6: Absolutely. Please ensure that you are running stock ROM and kernel. No Xposed or other hacky crap. Create a logcat.
Q7: When will you fix ${THING} that I just reported?
A7: Damn it, see Q1/A1. And if your ${THING} isn't something that bothered me, it probably just got shuffled to the back of the line.

I used this ROM for 4 hours
Flashed Open Gapps 7.1 nano arm based
ROM is super smooth, first boot took a minute.
But the second boot took only 14 seconds
Apart from above mentioned bugs
Mic didnt worked for me and pulse notification light setting is absent.
After the Mic gets fixed ROM will be perfect for daily usage..
Very Awesome work by the developer
Thank you so much

Tested today, running great, smooth, battery life fantastic, waiting for camera fix
Almost daily driver, keep it up dev

edit:
P.S. see what i did there?
There are no daptive brightness and tethering & portable hotspot
Hi guys! I am making this thread so that we could have a place to tell the community which is the most satisfying ROM and kernel in our opinion and experience that you have used or most probably are using right now. Guys it would be really helpful if you share what qualities make that ROM or kernel most satisfying in your opinion like bb or performance or something unique about that ROM or kernel. Guys I welcome you to share any special settings (ROM or ka) you have done to achieve that satisfaction. So guys do share and help the community and show gratitude to respective developers as well .....
Thank You!
My choice is crdroid nougat official with stock kernel. Super stable and nice bb for my usage. I'm using it right now. No special settings. Just extreme battery saver all the time.
I think that the combination ofofficial RRos nougat and beacon kernel is very stable. I'm using it right now
I haven't used many ROMs but the most satisfying ROM for me is Viper Coral [nouget ]. Its butter smooth and best batter backup. It also doesn't have slow charging problem unlike other Oreo ROMs . It take only 2-2.5 hours to complete charge the device. Since I am not a Jio user I don't know about volte.
for me it's the viper os coral 3.1.1 final by impulsar it even shows certified in device status in play store , it's the most stable rom for me gr8 bb no volte issue nothing it's the best with stock kernel & also with beacon
Both vipers are great I.e. impulsar's and dinesh's both are certified in play store
Unofficial CrDroid by difr
Extreme performance!
Yup.. True.. Extreme performance.. Butter smooth, excellent multitasking possibilities. Good battery backup (but not the best), but wen compared to performance, this is more than sufficient.. Excellent work by developer.. Kudos..
liquid remix, stock kernel.
I am very pleased with AEX 4.6 and the Spicey Kernel. Great battery backup, responsiveness and performance, GCamMod and everything else is working. The only downside is that it is not actively maintained anymore, so no new security updates. As I had several problems with Oreo ROMs and their GAPPS, I hope that the developers will iron out these issues to make the switch sometime in the future (the unofficial crDroid build was promising, but GAPPS didn't work there for me).

Yes, I had issues with the 8.1 April 1st release (pico and nano) from opengapps.org. I first flashed the ROM, rebooted and then flashed GAPPS and I got "play services stopped" as soon as I try to setup my device. And as I did mention in the other posts, I've tried other ROMs and TWRPs as well with the same reproducible result and ran out of options there. Hence I got back to AEX 4.6 and even flashing it together with GAPPS went without problems wheras I get bootloops if I flash them together with Oreo ROMs.

I did try even older ones from December, but that did not work as well. Look overe here in this thread: https://forum.xda-developers.com/xiaomi-redmi-3s/help/flash-oreo-roms-t3743439/page4
Some people found a solution which worked for them, but I haven't tried them myself yet.
Bootleggers and unofficial crdroid by difr
I have used many custom roms with stock and beacon combo (excluding treble as beacon for treble is not out yet)
I vote for Bootleggers ROM.
It's a complete package with 99.9% pure android bug-less experience. All features work flawlessly. Best thing about this rom is Battery Backup. it's amazing, a LOT more compared to any other rom be it Nitrogen RR Firehound Cr AEX LiquidRemix Viper PixelExperience MIUI etc. I have tried them all but finally Bootleggers compelled me to stick with it for Battery Backup and almost NO bugs.

What is this?
Pixel Experience is an AOSP based ROM, with Google apps included and all Pixel goodies (launcher, wallpapers, icons, fonts, bootanimation)

This it not a GSI. It is built on actual device trees
What's working/not working?
First up:
-Sometimes after setting the brightness to maximum, it doesn't want to lower its value and gets stuck. is fixed only by a reboot.
-HWC is disabled
-The signalbar always shows 0, altho calling and data have no issue and should work as intended.
Obviously Samsung's own features such as Samsung Pay, KNOX, Theme Center, Game Launcher, etc. won't be ported to LineageOS Pixel Experience. We may have our own implementation to similar functions, though.
Iris sensor does not work because AOSP upstream does not support that yet.
IMS services (VoLTE, VoWiFi, etc). Samsung has their own proprietary implementation. It is not really possible to easily port that to LineageOS PixelExperience.

Troubleshooting/FAQ:
Q: Videos aren't playing on youtube
A: Make sure you don't have any kind of adblock installed
Q: I'm on a dualsim variant and (a) sim isn't detected.
A: Try reinserting your sim and rebooting. This wierdly nuff only happens on some* dualsim variants and no one has sent me a logcat yet.
Q: My mobile data (3G/4G) is not working/only 3g shows
A: Go into mobile network settings and select/create an apn, also select 4G as the preferred network type.
Q: How does this compare to GSIS?
A: Much better all around. Faster, smoother etc. I don't think there's any reasons to use pie gsis anymore.
Q: How good is the camera?
A: Actually,(by my standards), pretty good. Almost comparable to stock. Ofc the aosp cam doesn't have the fancy filtering, features and stuff but by far not bad. Alot better than 8.1 roms anyway.
Q: Safetynet doesn't pass?
A: Yeah, i guess that's a thing. Go into magisk and download some module called props hide or something. Don't forget to run it from terminal. It should work from there
Q: The rom isn't booting/camera doesn't work
A: Flash/make sure you have the CSA2 vendor and fw, and try again. This has been tested. It's prolly something on ur end.
Q: The rom is in a bootloop/google apps keep crashing
A: You did read the instructions and NOT flash any gapps riighhttt?? smh, wipe /system,/data and /cache and start over
Q: I have another bug; How can i tell it to you while slightly increasing my changes of it ever getting fixed.
A: You can tell me what's going on either here or on telegram WITH A LOGCAT attached(required);if rom isn't booting at all attach /proc/last_kmsg.
Q: I don't know what/how to logcat. Is it really necessary?
A: Logcat or gtfo
Q: How can i support you?
A: Awwww thanks; On most of my posts on the left side there's a "donate to me" paypal button;. Send the seal some fish. Seriously. The seal realllyyyyy loves fish. You can do that, donations are more than welcome, or if you don't have any $ to spare you can also post here about how awesome i am (this surprisingly helps very much)

Eh, it's not bad at all, but that's subjective and something you have to try yourself

Does it keep up with the stock camera or gcam port even?
This is the moment I wonder what's more important - warranty or geek happiness...
awesome
glad this isn't GSI though i had no problem with GSI roms
Rom working great beside the known bugs. Sadly hwc isnt working, on the s9 forum they also cant get it working sadly. Google camera works great for the people thinking of switching. Battery life is just very bad because of no hwc. Gsi roms are very stable with endurance kernel.
Good to see your work over here , I been tested so far very good on stable initial release
Great rom! Must have!
Thanks to the xda writers for this making it to the news section.
Dear Ranibow_Dash
May I ask you about the boot animation?
Is this rom using zips for boot animation?
If so is there a way to get it to work on a stock rom as well?

Unofficial Cyanogenmod 11 ROM ported from Sony Xperia M!
Should work on Lumia 520/521/525/526/720, please report if it works or has any problem!
This rom is based on thinhx2 port, but has been fixed on some things to increase performance/put things to work.
WARNINGS:
If it's the first time you install Android on your Lumia, please go to this post and read the instructions: Android4Lumia original post
This rom includes by default the unofficial touchscreen drivers, as I have one.
If you have an official touchscreen, please flash this to boot through fastboot/twrp (same kernel without touch patch): http://www.mediafire.com/file/lxmh9pgqrbnj2fq/cm11-boot-officialtouch.img
For Lumia 520/521 users: DON'T INSTALL GAPPS IF YOU DON'T WANT TO THROW YOUR PHONE OUT THE WINDOW!! It becomes excessively laggy until you disable some Google play services using an app like Service Disabler.
I still don't recommend using any Lumia 52x with an Android ROM as a daily usage device, until some things are done (for example, better RAM management or RIL fixed).
Download here
Working:
Wi-Fi
Bluetooth
Battery meter (if you battery is damaged blame it, not me )
Almost everything (if not listed at not working list).
Not working:
RIL
Camera
Light/proximity/accelerometer sensors
Headphone jack not tested. BT headphones works
Screenshots:
Thanks to:
Android4Lumia project and all of it's members, for the main project. Without they nobody would get Android running on our Lumias!
thinhx2, for doing the port long ago and giving me the basics to start learning.
TBM13, for including unofficial touch support into the kernel and helping me to make the wifi/bt work.
ROM Info:
Rom OS Version: Android 4.4.4 Kitkat

cool
it installed successfully on a lumia 521 & let me tell you something ,it blows all of the other lineage builds out of the water,it even comes with the option to set root out of the box ,it's also snappier & I've noticed the wifi scanning is not as clumsy as it was on lineage,& since my lumia 521 still has the official touchscreen i had to flash that boot img through twrp because after the initial rom flash i booted without it & the touchscreen was acting funny, thanks man
working on lumia 520
managed to install it on the lumia 520, seems to be working fine though the headphone jack is not working, which is a shame, i was hoping to be able to use this device as a music player among a few other things. anyone knows a way to fix that?

I've heard somewhere that using an app called SoundAbout you can setup the headphone jack correctly, but I'd not test that and as I'd give my 520 to a friend I can't test that anymore.

As said, this ROM comes with the unofficial touch patch, so if you have an original touchscreen please follow the instructions and flash the original kernel (also attached).

if you do have a Lumia 520, then I don't recommend using GApps because of they do make the phone UNUSABLE.
I'm used to have low end phones, my main phone currently has worse specifications than the 520 and still works better than a 520 with gapps. Really, don't do that. If you want to ignore this, just download ARM gapps for 4.4 at opengapps.org

Tried it but no luck I am also used to low end devices I have a device with armv6 processor 256mb ram and 196mb storage (I partitioned SD card and expanded to 4 GB) it's limit is android 4.4.4 and can't go further than that that is also stable and gapps suck in that device so I don't use em but I have a Lumia 525 it is capable to run gapps I guess and if not it's ok I will let you know at least it will be worth trying . I will try to flash gapps again and lets see what happens. Can you help me to change back to Twrp Recovery please is there a way we can make a zip file for it instead of the IMG file which is not supported by Cwm I really want twrp back.
Thank you

Hey every thing is now fixed I installed flashify APK and then I downloaded twrp glee IMG and installed it via that app now I have twrp and when I flashed gapps with twrp it worked really nice so the main problem was actually Cwm(Lol)
The rom Rocks even with gapps
