If you have a major bug to report that has not been reported already, please take the following steps to report it to us. It will save you, Team Resurrection Remix and me quite some time.
Download the MatLog app from the Play Store.
After downloading the MatLog app, go to the app settings, and change the log level to Debug.
Clear all previous logs and take the exact steps to produce the error you are receiving. As soon as you receive the error (probably a force close), go straight into MatLog and stop the log recording.
Copy and paste the entire log either to Hastebin or Pastebin
Save the log, and copy and paste the link into the thread with a brief description of the error.

This is something common to a lot of devices on a lot of ROMs. Just zoom in a bit to circumvent.

Ignore it. GtrCraft has kept it permissive for substratum.
And, custom kernel doesn't effect it.

A : No it is not. It is however available via adb. Some testers have had success with Magisk too.

A : Yeah sure, but I will not support you. And no, the ROM probably does not support it.
Q : Can I flash XYZ kernel?
A : No, there's a fair number of kernel changes from Nougat to Oreo.
Q : What GApps should I flash?
A : I'm really not sure, you tell me, anyway I suggest Official OpenGapps
Q : Is the ROM suited for daily usage ?
A : Using it as a daily driver
Q : I see errors during the installation, is it normal ?
A : If it is Warning: No file_contexts, ignore it for now
Q : I used unofficial oreo opengapps and it says that the android version doesn't match
A : According to a few people, mounting system before installing gapps lets it install. I haven't tried gapps myself though.
Q : During first boot, after bootanimation, the phone stuck in a black screen . What should I do?
A : Just reboot, ignore it for now.

Halogen os official asked him to wait till they release and then he would be allowed to release his build. It does not mean that halogen os would release an official build for bacon. They have dropped support long ago.

So i instaled it, for 1st "blue" tag stay for blue accent color, like in pixel phone so there isnt stock green accent for now. Leeco remote controler is inside also as 2 camera apps ( one is aosp what is pretty useles and second is new lineage camera app ) and GCmod google camera, no no-focus problems for me, or i didnt discover it, also we have here new trebuchet launcher with iconpack support. battery didnt tested.
formating the /system/ partition makes my x829 detected as x820

Just flashed it and greeted by blank screen with message "setup wizard keeps stopping" at start up :/
quite stable for my daily driver except slow charging and double tap to wake doesnt work

I think I found the culprit, do not flash magisk after flashing the rom, but let it do it's first boot, then after completing the setup, reboot back to recovery and flash magisk

Clear all previous logs and take the exact steps to produce the error you are receiving. As soon as you receive the error (probably a force close), go straight into Catlog and stop the log recording.

Save the log, and copy and paste the link into the thread with a brief description of the error.

CrDroid has not so many issues, the only difference between PE (Pie) and these ROMs is Rapid Charging, all other ROMs show and charge Slowly.
Help me for Installing TWRP
I tried falling TWRP on my unlocked Moto g5s(montana).
It shows Image file not signed or corrupt.

Lots of errors and Unstable
I am facing lots of errors on installing this ROM. first of all, I constantly get error android.process.media has stopped, android.process.phone has stopped, ETC. Also, I get error on trying to connect wifi, saying failed to connect network. also my sim cards are not being detected.

In my opinion this is by far the best ROM for this device in terms of customization, performance and battery life.
I have recently installed this rom and I must say it is amazing! Stability, features, and even if it has an old security patch, it still is nice. Even if, I could just use the gsi version of this. Thanks for making this

Make sure you have followed the instructions on how we install it. Make sure you are on the latest One UI either 2 or 2.1 it doesn't matter as long as you're on Q. Wipe Everything and flash the rom, gapps (flame gapps preferable), magisk if you want

FLASH Flame GAPPS basic. It's similar with open gapps pico but with sound picker.
Q4 Why isn't X feature there? Its there in xyz rom
I have recently worked on this due to the quarantine situations that gave me time to work on it. I have worked alone and currently I am working on my own because everyone is busy with their own lives right now. If you have a feature request, I will not guarantee adding it because I may get busy.
I built this ROM for personal use but since evryone is sitting at home now I thought to publish it.

Back when I had the Nexus 6P still alive I always went for this rom. I don't know how happy I am to see it here but I use the s-pen features so I'm not sure when I will make the jump. Anyways thank you so much for bringing this rom here.

Well downside is you cant go back to Pie. Better to update your phone to stock One UI 2.1 then install TWRP and flash that.

Yes, that's right. You need to flash OneUI 2.0 or 2.1 stock from ODIN (download from sammobile). Good luck!

Yes, I use that one on one UI roms, beast mode kernel also support F2FS, was just curious
