Are you on the official TWRP? Flash the unofficial one.

I get this message when I try re-locking boot loader. What does it mean by valid signed images? Recovery image? I am on stock rom for XT1506.
I think that's because you need to flash exactly the same firmware that your phone had when you bought it. To learn more about this you should read this topic: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=3059595

Nope.
Nope.. it will remain unlock. You can even flash any other rom from fastboot. Unless you choose "Clean all and lock" option on the mi flasher.. your bootloader will unlock

u also can try flash RECOVERY ROM via twrp but im not sure it will repartiton ur system back to stock.
I have TWRP installed and everytime I try to install the newest version I load into TWRP and get an error. Any way to either relock the bootloader or force the update?
Flash stock recovery

TWRP has a fixed fingerprint key that doesn't work anymore with recent updates... If you are not using a custom ROM that supports TWRP (like AmazeROM) your only option is to flash stock recovery back (if you are using a custom ROM, and probably you are since you still have TWRP, probably you need to install other stock files as well, so maybe it's just simpler to flash stock firmware back).

Thanks guys! I'll just flash the stock recovery. seems the most simple since the OS is stock.
