Weird question....
the Daydream app has a "nine dot" button that load a page where you see all the Daydream apps and games on your phone.
Look at the attachment for an example of this page.
So the question is, when you have more than 15 apps/games, where are the other ??? How can you launch them ?
You get another page. Simply slide the first to the left.

Hello all.
Not sure if any body knows of this or if anyone has been able to do it. If this is known knowledge then forgive me, but to me is new.
I stumbled upon this completely accidentally and still not completely sure how I did it. On stock room, rooted.
I have xhalofloatingwindow installed, an xposed module. This allows floating windows for app but one cannot interact with the window.
I then was trying out another app called slide launcher available on the market. It allows a quick launching of apps by sliding up from the home button, and up pops a list of pre selected apps. When selecting apps to launch, slide launcher gives an option for floating window which I enabled. The description of the app says it only work with PA rom. But guess what, it worked on my stock rom. And I am able to launch not one floating window but multiple. All movable and can interact.
The size of the floating window can be resized via the xhalofloatingwindow module setting.

Tablet ui. He most probably changed the DPI or used an Xposed module.

I don't know of an app that does that at the moment, but here is one that may be able to assist you with some of what you're asking for.
Notification History
Found another app that does even more:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2769749
Mmm interesting app
Pull down the notification bar a little bit so you can see only notification. On the bottom left of the screen there is a clock like icon. Tap that icon and you will find all the recent activities.

Gotta be the best first post in this forum.
As for the topic, XDA app and L/Nova Launcher.
I stream a lot of music and have the phone in my pocket. I was used to changing the track by holding volume key on my OnePlus. The G4 didn't allow this, so I found an app that works with Google Music player.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.silentlexx.volbtntrackctrl&hl=en
It's double tap instead of long press. I guess we'll have to wait for root for long press. The only issue is the first tap raises the volume, but I can deal with that.
I like wave launcher give me access to 5 apps from any screen easily and fast

Yes, I must agree. Great browser and fast
I am using a tracking app named Best Cell Phone Tracking App . It is the a good app for tracking other devices. Like track fmaily, friends etc.
My favorite app is Swipe Navigation. It works excellent & fast with the LG G4 and gives me full-screen everywhere, a experience without soft-navigation buttons. I'm one of those who never really get along with the soft-nav buttons taking up alot of screen space.
Only problem is that root is needed... but its totally worth it. One of the great reasons to root!

Hey got a G4 myself recently, so the first thing i did is to make my app compatible with it, including DualView support
So if someone needs a more geeky app for using the IR-transmitter of the G4 instead of QuickRemote feel free to try my app Its mostly compatible to LIRC, has Database and can export IR codes
Since i saw that the G4 has a learning feature - I'm planning to add learning-feature as soon as i figure out how it works (If someone would like to help with this just drop a line ). For link see signature
My personal favourite is Camscanner. I did a small video on it to show how it works

I'm wondering if the Google app had a dining recommendation for you in your notifications? Similar to when I get a basketball symbol when one of my favorites is playing.

Maybe , but I have never seen it before on any other device with similar setup.

Came across this on Google+, the person who shared the apk pulled it from the Moto Z3 Play and must have modified to install as a user app. There is a full apk dump here on XDA from the Z3 play, but most of the apps will not install as user apps. I ran several virus checks (because I'm nervous like that) and it came out clean. It's working great on my Pixel 2 XL running Android 9.0 Pie. The weather animation is very cool and subtle, it only occurs when you first unlock your phone (it doesn't constantly animate the weather). Nice and clean design, I always love Moto's time and weather widgets. Even the older ones which were called "Command Center" widgets were, and still are great. This one is now my favorite. Oreo icon pack (paid). It's by far one of the best ones out there. The subtle shadowing is unmatched. All the other Pixel/Oreo/Pie icon packs all are the same, flat and boring. This one rocks.

what should be change in apk to run on moto z?
Thanks a lot for the app! On my OnePlus 3, it can't be installed as a third party app; needs to be pushed to the system. Also, I can't add cities to the weather, since it throws up the error, "No apps can perform this action".

Thanks much. It works perfectly on OnePlus 7T. However, the white circle around the widget which indicates the battery charge doesn't update when charging/charged to full percentage. Any possible fix?

You are welcome to try this. It installs both widgets, the one in the op and the command center one he mentioned. It's working on my Pixel 4 XL. Here is a screenshot with both activated:
