Hello guys in the weekend i saw a flaw in my huawei mate 20 pro at midnight i was sending my pictures from google photos to my cromecast and suddenly in the screen apear a line in the top portion of the screen like when you see bad tv channel. I restart the phone and the problem dont show up again.
I ask beacuse a friend with the same phone has a problem with the camara and is from the same carrier i know that the mate 20 pro has some problems with lg and boe screens and want to know if i have to contact support so they check the phone
I've never seen anything like that. It looks more like a software issue--possibly caused by a third party app that has permission to draw over other apps.
I didn't see that static in Google photos--only in the launcher home screen. Have you ever seen it when an app was open?

every time i try to call someone it show a pic of a white android doing something(eating a hotdog, playing baseball, etc etc). can someone tell me how to fix this
This has to be some third party app causing this....
omg thank you. i uninstall some apps and now it works normally thanks Droid
Hehe No Problem..but I am kinda curious now which app made the white Droid eat hotdogs and playing baseball.
lol it was either the speedtest.net app or taps 20 but when i reinstall them to find out which one was it, it didn't show the white android when i made a call.
I am having a stupid market bug. I don't know if you have the same annoying thing.
When I want to open the pictures of application some pictures don't show. If there are 4 pictures when I wanna view them 3 of them shows. One of them shows only black screen. Its so damn annoying.
If there are 2 pictures it displays one of it other one shows black only. thumbnails show without a problem. It happens only when u click them and and view fullscreen. doesn't matter if there are 2 or 10 pictures. One of it doesn't show always.
Does it happen to you?

ehh dont know what to suggest but have you tried wiping the data/cache for market in the settings/application menu?
never happened to me but that could be an option..if its market as you say giving you the problem find it through your applications settings and clear it..reboot and see if it happens again

I have tried wiping market chache and uninstalling market updates maybe 5 times but no luck...
It happens with this stupid new market.
Count me in. Exact same problem. I thought everyone using latest 3.1.5 has this problem, but couldn't find a post mentioning it other than yours!
I manually installed 3.1.5 apk though. It didn't automatically updated, so I don't expect any better than this. What's yours story? Updated manually or automatically?
Market 3.1.5 dedicated thread is there,
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1272152
what about unistalling it through TB and installing and old version? that might help..
anyone else to comment please feel free if im wrong but thats one other solution
Yeh, this happens here as well, across may different roms, reinstalls, etc.
I hope they fix it, its bloody annoying.
Hello,
I am encountering problems with the NFL app for my M5 tablet (WiFi version, CMR-W09, EMUI 8.0.0.168 (C432)). Whenever I open the NFL app, I see a black screen with a sentence saying "NFL app videos cannot be cat to another screen. Please disconnect your smartphone or tablet to watch video". I didnt connect a chromecast or anything like that to my M5. Anyone has some ideas?
Thanks!

this will not help you much , but I have similar issues with another app (Film1) showing similar behavior as you are describing. Huawei support told that the APP developer needs to update their app to make it compatible with Android 8. If you have another device with Andorid 8 try installing it there and see if works. Please let me know!

I have a Nokia 6 (2018) Android One smartphone (also runs Android 8). With the Nokia phone, the app runs totally fine.
Have the same issues with several apps here in Australia for the same reason.
Foxtel Go, and NRL App both give the same error.
Basically they are detecting that the M5 is casting to a larger or another screen, which is prohibited by those apps.
Huawei's screen mirroring/share software seems to be detected, even when not in use.
I don't think this will be resolved, Huawei need to do something, but I doubt they will
It's very disappointing.
I had this issue with a TV app on my device. Contacted the company and they said that it's a Huawei thing. Shortly after there was an update to the app and things are now working just as they should. Apparently it was an app thing after all...
So, put some pressure on the developers and they should be able to fix it.

Lets see if I will be able to pressure the developers of the NFL app ^^. If this shouldnt work there is always Lineage. I suppose it should work there.

If you have root, you could just disable the Huawei Mirroshare service.
Same problem
Update or workaround????
i don't like the fb apps and my phone doesn't have any more space so i use chrome
to be able to use FB but when i try to mention any one in comments or any thing
the selection menu doesn't show up !!
is there any fix to this ? is it a bug in chrome ? but why it works in the desktop site ?
I know you said you don't have any space, but can you try to see if another browser like Firefox gives you the same problem. If it does, then it is most likely a bug on the Facebook's mobile site, and you'll have to wait for them to fix it, maybe use another, small version Facebook app like Facebook Lite, or even some third party ones like https://forum.xda-developers.com/android/apps-games/bullshified-version-facebook-okay-to-t3586318.
If it works on Firefox, or another browser, then you'll know it is a Chrome bug

Maybe they do not even know how widespread the problem is. If you want, you can maybe report a problem to them. There is apparently a "Report Problem" button somewhere on their site.
You should however consider to maybe use the Lite app, or another third party version, in case they do nothing about the problem.

Hi all,
I followed the instructions on here to enable the Google feed and remove the Oppo one. It works occasionally but unfortunately it seems to have had an impact on my main/home screen. Often, when I unlock the phone the screen will be blank (aside from the wallpaper). If I unfold it, the left side of the screen will be similarly blank but the right hand side will show my home screen. I have no idea what I have done or how I can get it back to normal - I have to restart to get it to work properly.
Any thoughts are welcome.
Thanks
Ditch the buggy 3rd party app... app instability shouldn't be tolerated.
I keep live feds and social media apps off my devices, security risks.

Would you know how I delete it please? Or how I trouble shoot it? As I understand it, it is just part of the Google app.

Turn it off or not use it. I use a package disabler which is how I kill a lot things I don't want running.
You can try rolling the version back to the factory load or updating it, or clearing its cache or data. Another 3rd party app could be conflicting with it.
Or it's a bug the manufacturer hasn't fixed yet.
It's possible the firmware got corrupted or the user partition (in which case a factory reset would resolve it).
I didn't enable Google feed on mine but lately when I unlock the front screen its blank. I sometimes have to lock/unlock 10 times in a room or go into settings and back out many times until my icons come back. :-(
you should reinitialize the phone. In my case it was caused by hard debloating
Had the same issue. Fixed it by uninstalling Google assistant.
