Hey guys. Can anyone suggest me a good custom rom for MIDO?
I have tried a lot of roms but no e seems perfectly stable yet.
I want a good rom with updates.
If you want just a stable and overall good rom, than you can't go wrong with LineageOS 15.1. It's stable and clean so no useless functionality. Also as it is official, you will be getting updates, security included (I think).
Pixel Experience Official 9.0 has been my daily driver for months, it's awesome. I'm still running the AOSP version but i'm contemplating switching to CAF.

Hello guys, as you may already know, the latest official/stock Android version for Motorola Moto E 2015 4G LTE (surnia) is Android 6.0 Marshmallow. My model is XT1524. I'm tempted to install the latest official nightly CyanogenMod ROM which is "cm-13.0-20161225-NIGHTLY-i9305.zip". I heard that CyanogenMod drains the battery quickly than the stock ROM. Knowing that CyanogenMod switched his name to Lineage OS, I think I'll wait until Lineage OS makes the first build. Until Lineage OS creates a ROM for my device I want to try other ROM's. Which one is the most stable, has a great battery life, and is almost stock? Or should I install CyanogenMod already? Also do you guys recommend changing my kernel? If yes, which one?

Stable, battery life and almost stock? Try Slim7 with stock kernel or squids r19.

The CM13 Latest Snapshot.
I've tried Lineage, CypherOS, and AOSP Extended. They're less stable and buggier, I ended up going back to CM13. Anyways AFAIK the current Android 7 ROMs still lack CMTE for theming as well.

Go ahead and install that ROM. I can help with your battery life. My SoT with OC easily gets 3 hours. I've pushed it to about 4 hours when using efficiency profiles I made in Kernel Auduiter (might be spelled wrong). Also using HEBF and ForceDoze.
RR has a better battery life than LOS. Someone knows about slim?
I´ve tested Stock 6.0, RR 7.1.1, AOSCP 7.1.1 and LOS 7.1.1, and can tell us that LOS give me the best battery usage, almost 6 hours of screen so far, and it´s smooth and no fails....
Sorry for the bump but I want to know what you guys are using right now as daily driver? I flashed latest RR 7.1.1 but while it's stable, i found it to be lacking polish (some settings are missing, others don't work as expected) and that's obvious because it's a WIP and I thank devs for their hard work, but I want to settle in MM for the moment. I love CM13 latest snapshot but was wondering what else I can try...

I´ve been usng LineageOs since the first build and it works very smooth and give me 6 screen hours in 2 days of use without charging it.
Since battery life on Oreo based ROMs are not good. I want to flash Nougat based rom for Kenzo (3GB/32GB). Can you guys suggest which is the best Rom based on 7.1.2 along with firmware version and kernel config?
My suggestion: Customised LineageOS. Rock stable, frequently updated and synced with LOS source, great performance and battery life, right amount of features. Perfect daily driver and the one I've been using for long. Firmware: latest MIUI firmware.
Another suggestion would be Slim7, but the development has shifted to oreo and the nougat version is no longer updated. The last build dates back to November 2017. If that is not a concern, then try that out as well.
To those who flashed ROMs multiple times, which do you think is the most stable for Redmi 5? (Whether in Nougat, Oreo or Pie)
stock miui is the most stable by far. as for custom rom resurrection remix is the best IMO as it have much customization (but design is quite outdated). For oreo, lineage os is quite stable i guess but lack of customization as it try to look like stock android rom. I had tried all the pie rom, the only one working is the aex rom but it is much less stable for me, although the battery and temp is good.
I find the official pixel experience oreo Rom to be most stable. Except ir sensor everything works perfect. I find it more smoother and gives better battery backup than than stock rom.

Most stable with everything working no matter what? Lineage 14.1 Nougat.
99% stable with only minor issues (slow fingerprint if you have Goodix fingerprint reader)? Lineage 15.1 Oreo or one of the new official ROMs like PIxel Experience or AospExtended. The only difference between them is how much you want to customize them, Lineage gives little chance, AExtended is best for that, PE already packs some Gapps so if you want that then its good, but if you don't want Gapps then Lineage.

Try Pixel Experience on 9.0. It's pretty stable with a good battery backup.

I'm using EvolutionX (march security patch) on my mi a3 but i read in the thread that the developer has abandoned the rom, so i m looking for a good rom to replace, one with equal features to Evox, i was thinking of derpfest OS but i Didn't find it for laurel sprouts

I'd recommend PixelExperience. It's the best one I've used, tho it has no customizations at all.
Wait till SyberiaOS gets an update and adds FaceUnlock as well.
Havoc OS
Try Havoc OS it's a really good rom with many customization features. But I did have some issues while installation.
If you don't want to install Havoc OS then I don't think that there are many roms that offer that mush customization.
You can try Syberia OS but I haven't tried it so I can't say anything about it.
I tried miui.eu 11.2 beta from bitnet , it is very pretty and the best of all, but haven't OTA update you must download update manually and flash it with TWRP.
You can try SyberiaOS it is very nice and closest to EvoX.
Havoc os is nice too, but haven't ota update you must flash it with TWRP.
I am currently using los 18.1 latest version. But i can see that here are so many new Oreo and nougat roms, wich on is the best??

Hi. All of my roms are tested before uploading. Oreo and nougat ones are based on los device,kernel and vendor.
There are all quite stable withour serious bugs. However on several bluetooth doesn't works, on others camera. But these bugs are written in the description, so you can chose withour ones. So anybody can find some info about the rom and install it. For example, gzosp rom is ligher the linage rom, slimrom is ligher then lineagerom. Oreo and nougat roms are the most stable then 10,11,12 so I want we have more stable roms than only one lineage. For Q roms I'll add FmRadio support and not only. So my answer all my nougat and oreo roms are stable and it's hard to find the best.
