Hello, everyone.
I modified the original logo.bin file of the Moto G7 Plus for those who want to unlock the bootloader and take the screen of "unlocked bootloader ". Just use the command:
fastboot flash logo logo.bin
To download the file, use the link at a low or lower the file that is pinned here on the thread.

I'd your bootloader is UNLOCKED, Everytime you boot you get a warning message about Software Integrity can't be trusted. This removes the message to be replaced by a Motorola boot screen.

Upload a image you would like to boot and I will convert it for you. A .png with 1080 x 2270 would be great but .jpg or sth else will be no problem.

Please note: Other than slapping an M in the middle with Krita I did not create this image, I basically stole it wholesale from some wallpaper site or another. I do think it looks pretty spiffy though

I'm just a male user. :laugh: But you should be aware that the boot logo doesn't replace the boot animation. The animation shows the same image as the boot logo does before starting this little clip/animation. After replacing logo.bin you will see:
1. your custom logo => 2. Motorola's stock logo (same as stock logo.bin) => 3. boot animation/clip
Therefore I replace also the logo inside the bootanimation.zip with your Image and will upload it here with your new logo.bin
Create a new bootanimation.zip takes 1 min. and is much faster than writing this sentence. :laugh:

You are awesome, but I will note I'm running LineageOS and their boot animation is already good and dark :good:. (I'm fairly sure that's what you're talking about anyways, I'd been on my OnePlus One for nearly 5 years! Been a while since I've dug into a new Android device)
And really, thanks. I know there's a logo.bin editor for the G3 and down, but that doesn't help much with the 7+ lol.

Ok, I only attached the custom logo for you.
I use a Python-Script for termux to un-/repack the logo.bin written by a XDA member. It's compatible with all Moto devices and their logo.bin files.

When i power on the tablet it shows the android boot up logo and then the company logo "ORKIA OK-PP555" and then the screen goes bluish(back light remains on" and then it stays like that for ever. I need help.
Inside there is Allwinner A10 Chip. So I searched & downloaded various firmwares for A10 and Flashed it. The Device got all OK with Two of the firmwares but touchscreen is Working ODD or can say not working properly. In One of the firmware Touchscreen is working invertly (i.e. if touched on left --> opens function icon appearing on right, if touched on top --> open function icon appearing at botton and so on . . )
How to Correct it ?? How to make touchscreen working properly ??
Or If anyOne having Its True/Correct Firmware..Please share it.
Any Help/Advice is welcomed . .

nah, because idk how to do a logcat. i doubt this rom would ever work because the captivate has a different cpu architecture we us omap 3 but the captivate uses hummingbird but if u want to try something you can try to port cm 11 from the galaxy player 3.6 github sources for 3.6https://github.com/androthan?tab=repositories (official dev @Androthan) he also has a ready built kernel source (just needs compiling) for booting 4.4.X for the 4.2.

I have uploaded a new build, please see if it's working as for porting cm11, I don't think I've got the skills needed to do so plus I don't have linux on my pc and am not willing to.

It seems that the error for the first one is just a problem in the updater script, after getting the error, can you please go to advanced and then select show log and take a photo or something. If I get this to install, it will probably boot, can you try using the meta-inf of the "other ported rom" in the galaxy sl one (delete the old meta-inf folder in the galaxy sl one and replace with the "other ported rom's" one)

I made 5 Bootlogos and they are in the above thread and I think that Thread should be closed by now and I continue my work on this

I ported a version of TWRP for it.. now I'm sure it's been posted elsewhere but I can't find the tutorial.. the only way I can get the touch screen to work is if I fastboot boot it or flash as the boot partition... How can I get the recovery partition to be able to use the touch screen... I know I'm missing something . Thanks all.. hopefully I can port a rom after I figure this one out.

Back to normal.
Now take the stock rom you just got and bench it an force add or flash super su onto you copy of the rom in x system and a busy box. Fastboot and go throught the motions to flashify and root.

great rugged 16 gb phone with writable quad core mtk 6737T 1.5 ghz chip that the entire mtk options are open on. you can clone and mock icc all day.
got mali t720 mp2 gpu ram id 2 gb ddr3 64 bit and 13 mp rear 8 mp front cam 720 1280 hd disply it is bad ass value!
im gonna find the engineering team and who boxed this phone and ships it to TX ill call monday and get some info

that is not even close to going to work. i am just going to tell any onme reading this to not do that. no explanation needed.
flashing schok freedom turbo SFT5216
After following all of the instructions. The flash tool begins and is interrupted by the phone (SFT5216) powercycling. What causes the phone to reboot or reset the interface during flashing? Is this anything to do with a locked bootloader?
Are people still interested in this phone? Looked interesting to me, if you guys need anything dev wise (recovery, modded boot image for root, etc.) Let me know and ill see what i can do

i have the xl version i am going to try to root it tomorrow morning at work and hopefully it works out i will come back and update with how it went i was always attracted to this phone as a no trace option as i am against giving my name and credit card to anyone let alone a phone carrier company i am currently run a simple mobile aka tmobile network on it
Saw this phone and already thought it miht have some potential for being another Orbic Wonder. It is supposedly a phone put out by Huawei. I think im going to pick up this exact same model as there seems to be little or no dev done on it. We might dive into it.

Not a problem I understand the fustration and I know I will need as much help as possible with this phone so let's start it off right by getting everyone operational first I have not started Xmas shopping lmao out and about doing that now and then doing my daily ebike run on the trails so figure by 4 or 5pm tonight I'll be home and will get to work if anyone has the process to pull the firm ware before I get started please be in touch

Can you let me know how to pull the firmware properly for you and I will do that before I root mine and if I run into problems rooting I can maybe get ur help
Use miracle box to dump the firmware. I seriously need it please
We have full kernel source on the Freedom Turbo XL and soon hopefully the Freedom Turbo. =]
When i get a minute i will look at putting together firm or when our XL arrive we can dump it in a matter of minutes with UAT.

Sorry I meant to say we have kernel source for the freedom turbo and soon hopefully the freedom turbo XL. We have firmware together for the freedom turbo and we will soon have the freedom turbo XL firmware up here.
