Hi all,
Need help with my phone
I have the this problem that it reboots ramdomly
I tried various roms and still the phone reboot ramdomly
Please help because dont know where to look.
Now i have MIUI Rom installed at the moment
Here are some possibilities. Hope it helps.
1) Perhaps the mobile is too hot. Check the temperature (you could install a app to do it, like TempMonitor Lite). The X10 loves to work below 42° C (colder is better).
2) If the bug happens after you install your apps, perhaps your apps are using almost all the memory and the system can't find enough to use. Maybe you have a faulty app. You could uninstall some background running apps and / or check your amount with Auto Memory Manager (if you use the "Aggressive" profile it can free up some memory for the system to use).
3) Perhaps this is the time to visit your technical assistance. Your main board can even be damaged (sadly it can happens, for example, if your mobile is exposed too much time to hot temperatures).
Hello,
Is there any way to stop android killing apps like swipepad, proximity sensor running? Any application or something? It can also be an app that automatically starts chosen apps

I'd like to know too
I'd like help with this as well. There are a couple of apps (ADW EX for one) that I'd like to have priority when it comes to memory management and make sure they never get killed. I have searched a lot and so far have not found anything.
I am rooted if there is a way with root privileges.

Yes would be great. The only way I found to keep the apps running in background is to free the RAM from even system apps. It gives extra 60MB of memory, however it doesn't solve the problem.

i have my lenovo p770 and its been a month since i used it,
my problem that ive encounter was when i have a low ram the android cant even kill apps on its own to free ram for the apps the im gonna use. is my device defective? it forces the apps to crash , i asked the same users with me but they dont experience it. theres a solution to my problem, it is to restart the phone. but i dont want to restart it over and over again. i hope somebody can help. i try to search many many times but cant find solution. thx.
clarrification
my problem is unlike what u can suggest. that android will just free ram when needed to run a certain app. it forces the app to crash and the launcher a lag.here are some picts of it. i reset the phone several times monitoring it. even without games or whatsoever. it keeps increasing constant and hard to decrease it. in a purpose of casual use.
hi everyone
i've been using the d620r version for half a year now and there is a problem i see with the ram managment. the phone just can't keep a few tasks running at once. when i listen to music, or chat with chatheads (fb messenger) and open another app, for example maps, browser, or any game, the system simply closes the music and messenger apps running in the background. and i don't even want to mention the homescreen which reloads everytime i open the simplest app...
i am rooted, and this is what i've tried to do to solve my problems:
deleted lg the bloatware (like lg sync etc)
deleted google bloatware (google search, play games, play music, etc)
played around with auto memory manager (setting really low values so apps would not get killed)
tried to force ongoing notifications using the xposed module app settings
tweaked around with gl tools, to decrease graphics so apps would be lighter
decreased screen resolution using resolution changer pro (this helped but it made the phone and message apps to forceclose)
i even flashed another rom, the crystal PA 8 available here on xda.. this actually helped, there was much less closing, BUT the rom is too unstable and buggy for everyday use...
is there anything else i could do?
thanks a lot
I don't know about any other users but root takes something from performance, at least here (D618). What I suggest is: flash back stock, full wipe (KDZ), root but don't heavily use apps that require root, don't use a lot of xposed modules and etc. Hope it helps.

make swap in cache partition because its so dumb to have that much free memory
and thats why apps are being killed
thanks for your opinion. actually, this problem occured even before i rooted the phone. right now, i'm back to stock. i hoped that maybe i could expand my ram using rohesoft swap expander but our kernel is not supported and i couldn't find any custom ones...

kernel doesn't support swap
oooh i was sooo wrong... the cache swap file works perfectly, the phone is much much smoother now
if anyone is experiencing the same issue, just download ram expander, choose the swap file location to cache and enjoy
My phone was serviced "reprogrammed" and when it came back I keep getting ads. I tried resetting the phone but it still keeps getting adware silently installed. Is there any way to fix this?
You are not alone. Bought this phone for my mom since she likes a bigger screen to do social media stuff. The malware popped in after the last ota. The official wirelessupdate app included on the phone silently installs random apks that pushes full screen ads and impersonates clicks even if the the phone is not being used. This is common with generic android phones coming from CHINA
I haven't figured out a way to root the phone as most rooting methods will fail(because of the sucky spreadtrum SOC which makes it difficult to root the phone).SADLY, rooting is the only way to disable/uninstall the wirelessupdate app.
However, here's a workaround I found that works.
1) restrict your network to limit background data usage (Found in settings).
2) **uninstall the malware app: finding the app may be difficult as It normally disguises itself as a system app with names like radio, settings, wifi or some application name that doesn't even make sense. It uses a lot of data and is always active. You'll know its the fake app if it poses as a system app but you have the option to uninstall it(System apps cannot be uninstalled without root/Su access).
Buttt....
The wireless update will probably install another malware app after uninstalling the current one.
3)disable notification of the app so it doesnt send fake notifications to you that opens ad based webpages as it also fakes notification, posing as a fake notif from FB, whatsapp
4) force stop it and stop the services from settings so it doesn't load or push apps while you use your phone
Restarting the phone will make the app run again
5) Remove the app's permission. By default its granted access to location, settings, storage and sometimes camera or mic. The wireless app doesnt detect this and wont turn those permission back on
6) lastly, you can contact firefly support AND PRAY TO THE GOOD LORD they know know what they're doing. Because I did and they were completely clueless on the troubleshooting or on the issue itself and even blamed the problem on the user. Ridiculously stupid.
I haven't really tried ADB yet because i don't have the time and the phone lacks resources online to restore it in case I brick it. Frankly, this phone is not worth investing time fixing especially with the quality of support it has from Firefly and the price it asked for.
