Here is the problem : After flashing a rom, I got encryption unsuccessful, then I go back to recovery and wipe. as it took long I force reboot using power and vol-. Now the phone always boot on TWRP which stuck on splash and sometimes it boot the rom but has encryption unseccessful. I do not have DL as there is TWRP as well with the same problem. I can boot to fastboot but the command : fastboot erase recovery alway get unknown command. I also tried flash the laf.img via fastboot but it doesn't work.
Need help please.
I get it solve by using fastboot oem lock. It wiped userdata and cache and unfreeze TRWR, then unlock bootloader again. Everything works like charm

Alright, flashed old boot.img back, rom _(Elegancia) is now booting again. Damn this trickier then i am used too.
Tried changing the kernel but android wont start with a new kernel, only with original boot.img
Still recovery is messed up, recovery not showing at bootloader.
Able to enter recovery from the rom. When flashing cwm it shows in the bootloader, but with twrp it doesnt..
When rebooting from the rom i end up in recovery, when rebooting from twrp to recovery the rom boots

i would advice going back to stock completely and then repeat the process of installing everything all over and use the toolkit its very easy to follow and fast
Did you tried to erase your Recovery?
fastboot erase recovery (enter)
fastboot erase cache (enter)
fastboot flash recovery TWRP_recovery.img (enter)
fastboot erase cache (enter)
Let us know how it went.

Managed to flashed original ruu, unlock again etc.
In bootloader it says: re-locked and beneath a line with security warning. Should be like that after relock ?
Now i have no wifi or network, baseband not showing at settings/info
Relocked again, flashed ruu, wifi and network working so i did flash the right ruu
problem solved !
I unlocked the boot loader, then I rebooted my phone, then rebooted into recovery mode. Once I install either a custom rom, or supersu, even if it works to install, once i try to reboot, it only reboots to TWRP. Even when I reboot to system it still does that. Is my phone just bricked?

No its not bricked.. maybe soft bricked, but not bricked bricked how are you flashing recovery? are you using
fastboot flash recovery twrp.img
or
fastboot flash boot twrp.img
2nd way is incorrect. Try
fastboot flash recovery twrp.img
fastboot erase cache
then boot to twrp and flash rom and let me know what happens. Make sure you are using correct gsm twrp if you are on an att phone.
He probably followed these instructions here which direct you to flash twrp to boot instead of recovery just like you said above.
I don't know why he leaves it up there like that but seeing as it's the first link on Google when you search "root att HTC one m8" , he needs to change it cause I'm sure it's causing plenty of headaches.

I did
./fastboot flash recovery twrp.img
because I'm using mac. I didn't erase the cache though. Also on twrp, it says my phone has no os, and installing a custom rom failed to install.
Hi,
I screwed up my phone and hard bricked it, so I used the MSMDownload Tool to make it run normally again, but...
It allowed me to recover my phone, but I cannot access recovery. I also tried to update the phone, but it would hang on the oneplus logo. I also cannot unlock my bootloader, as after it completes (and says it completed successfully on my computer) it again hangs on the oneplus logo.
Could anybody help me out here with how to fix this problem? Thanks in advance!
Hello .
My condolences first. I've been there before.
Anyway can you get your device bootloader unlocked in settings then fastboot and do ya fastboot Cody terminal stuff?
Code:
fastboot oem unlock
DON'T FORGET THIS WILL WIPE WIPE INTERNAL STORAGE.
Yay! Once you done that stay in fastboot and push twrp from there. Flash latest naturally.
Code:
fastboot flash recovery twrp.img
fastboot boot recovery twrp.img
That should jump into your TWRP then flash a rom if you want . But that should do it .
Hope I helped give us a thanks if I did
I need help, My phone was unlocked officially, and I have ZCX TWRP build 28081016 before. Then I flash Nougat ROM (Pure Nexus) from MIUI 8 8.2.3.0 without Wipe Internal Storage. Then it works normally. But since I go back to TWRP, I got Decrypt Data with password there. So I cancel it and then I got 0 Internal Storage. And it back while i text some **** in the decrypt password.
While reboot to system, It also asking password too.
Then I reflashing ROM with Clean Install method (wipe anything) but its still asking goddamn passwords.
Then I go Reboot Recovery again and text any **** password but it works! I got my Internal Storage back.
Then I try to flash zcx recovery build 30122016 (latest version) from recovery. Now I got my recoveries gone. There's only phone with usb cable images. Anything goes wrong (corrupted boot.img or something) here? Is it save if I reflash from PC? How to don't get decrypt sdcard?
I got other problem too. I have changed my splash logo (boot logo) using Google Pixels boot logo here. But I have never come back to Mi splash logo while clean installing MIUI ROM from recovery. Where is my problem here?
And this is my big problem (maybe) (cause I still don't get problems here). Anyone of you facing your Fastboot Logo with tiny Linux Penguin images? I can't go "adb reboot fastboot" here. And I can go to fastboot mode with volume- + power button only. It's not working too with reboot bootloader in TWRP. I guess my fastboot isn't working with Miflash or some ****. But works with adb. How can I get Mi Bunny Fastboot again?
Please help me. and tell me what should I do. Thankyou.

Then flash latest miui fast boot ROM through miflash
Then reboot
Then unlock bootloader flash zcx twrp the hen format data from twrp under wipe option

Hello
I 'm using Lenovo Tab 2 a7-10f
I tried to flash TWRP recovery throught fastboot.
But i didnt succeed before, so this time, i tried to enter command to open TWRP without need to install it.
___________
I entered fastboot mode via command
adb reboot bootloader
and yes, i did unlocked bootloader
___
then i used this command to put recovery in my tablet just to open that recovery
fastboot -c "lge.kcal=0|0|0|x" boot c:\twrp.img
______
i found this solution on this site
https://android.stackexchange.com/questions/86936/how-to-flash-root-zip-in-fastboot/102597
_______
And now, it is in bootloop, until i click both volume up and down , then it enters TWRP
_______
Tried to go in TWRP , Reboot > Power Off
And it shows logo and dont proccedd more, just stuck there and spining
Until i press both volume up and down, so it opens me TWRP recovery
________
Also tried to go into Reboot > System
But still same issue, not booting up at all
___
If i click Reboot > Recovery
Then it boots me back in TWRP
______
I tried already SPFlash tool before, but it doesnt detect my tablet, even if i have all drivers, and google drivers, and USB debbuging, i'm using this tablet for android app development, so it have all drivers.
_______
I managed to get my data from tablet.
I dont know what to do next.
Should i make some command from computer to boot system, using ADB, i know to use ADB, just i stucked in this weird bootloop.
_____
I'm thinking that i should flash stock ROM from TWRP while it is still alive.
Should i do that, i dont want to lose my data, i have many programs.
I dont care if i lose TWRP recovery, i dont need it after this experience right now???
What should i do
If you flash stock can you resume control and appreciate with repatching of recovery

O, oh man, i just got shocked !!! By all this.
I understood that my problem is in boot,
because this command
fastboot -c "lge.kcal=0|0|0|x" boot c:\twrp.img
tells android that when i press power button, to boot into whatewer it is pointed to.
So this command tells android to boot recovery instead of normal system.
So i just reverted it in bootloader (fastboot) mode, by pushing command
fastboot flash boot c:\boot.img
So it booted up again ) , and also important, without losing any precious data. ))
______
It is true when people say that if everything fails in android, there is always a bootloader that you cant destroy.
And also here are commands for other partitions, in this way you can flash whole system without root or anything, for anybody who face this problem which is very hard to break without ADB, because i think even if i flash stock ROM it will boot recovery because somewhere deep inside, it is written from that bootloader,
Again, never joke with bootloader, if it dont support, it dont support and over, i dont want TWRP anymore.
Dont get in this trouble, mybe nobody will be able to fix it if he dont know how it happened.
______
Commands
_______
adb reboot bootloader (to go into bootloader)
fastboot flash boot boot.img (this is i used)
fastboot flash system system.img (this is ROM, like kitkat, or lolipop)
fastboot flash userdata userdata.img (this can be optional, it means full reset)
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img ( if on twrp , dont flash this thing if not cause problems)
