Can someone provide the stock 5.1 visual voicemail apk for boost mobile variant XT1526?
Or can someone tell me how to stop the "9016" texts on CM12.1?
Sent from my Motorola Moto E 2015 4G LTE (XT1526)
visual voicemail apk fix I used
I did a couple of things the first was to make sure I had correct APN....used MVNOSlayer_R4.zip
Next I used the module SprintVVM-03.04.2017.zip in Magisk Manager
Finally I called Boost and asked them to reset my voicemail too.
After doing those things I haven't had a 9016 message
I am using Moto E xt1526
Another fix to the "9016" repetitive push SMS on both the Virgin Mobile and Boost Mobile variants of the xt1526 is this:
1. Install Minimal ADB & Fastboot on your PC or laptop;
2. Install the most current version of Motorola Device Manager on your PC/laptop (provides current USB Device Drivers for your Motorola device);
3. Ensure USB Debugging is enabled under Developer Options;
4. Ensure your bootloader is unlocked (there are excellent tutorials available here on XDA);
5. Boot your xt1526 into fastboot mode and open a command window iwithin the fadtboot/adb path;
6. Execute this command: fastboot erase carrier.
7. Reboot into the OS & the 9016 SMS push messages should now cease.

Try this: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B4-30E6G5pbIWG8tWmtqX2hUaWc/view?usp=drivesdk
It works like 99%. This should give you a better connection also: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B4-30E6G5pbIQnZlVlU2SjBpRDQ/view?usp=drivesdk
For me it switches between lte and 3g quicker.
I've been using them for some time and have been meaning to share them, just hadn't yet.
Edit: I should mention I have found the vvm doesn't seem to work on a few roms. One being AEX last time I checked. I forget the others right now. I haven't had a chance to figure out why yet. It does work on most roms though.
The vvm zip works great on AEX now.
Beta Labs is closed and the official pie update is rolling out to all the users.
Hello everyone ,
It's a good news for Nokia 6.1 plus users as we have an official update for Android Pie.
It's still in beta so we have to registering order to get that update.
Steps to register for Android Pie beta for Nokia 6.1 Plus :
1. Visit this link https://www.nokia.com/en_int/phones/betalabs
2. Sign in or Sign up for the Nokia account
3. Now we have to enter our IMEI number in order to validate our device( You can get it by dialling *#06# or go to Settings > System > About Phone > Status > SIM Status > Network.). Use imei1
4. Next you need is your network provider name( You can get it by going to Settings > System > About Phone > Status > SIM Status > Network.)
5. Select you country
6. Accept the terms and conditions and press "Register for Beta Labs"
7. After its successful validaiton you will get the option to "Request OTA" in the "Get the Beta Software over the air".
Current build number : 00WW_3_25B
Known issues :
Pro Mode Camera Slide up action does not initiate Pro mode
SMS After first OTA of Pie build, SMS may be queued for up to 5 minutes before being successfully sent. After the first instance, all normal thereafter
Display If user does a record, playback, delete video, may on rare occasions see a backlight screen issue
Display Ambient display and auto brightness may not always be optimised
Display On very rare instance, screen may not turn off when in handheld voice call
Display Sometimes, ambient light will not light up in gesture/lifting phone
Camera On occasions, no beauty effect in Bokeh preview mode, but works ok after capture
Camera Low light performance, on occasion, may not be optimised
Actions Pulling down of status bar to open the notification drawer from Notch area is not working
Camera Device may occasionally not be able to exit Slow motion/Time lapse mode after stopping video record
Display When inserting wired headset, screen may turn off after covering proximity sensor.
Note :
1. Build is pretty much stable but few bugs are expected.
2. This method only seems to work for devices shipped with global ROM.
3. We can revert back to Oreo stable build but all the data will be lost in doing so.

I got the same error, that my phone is not supported for beta labs. And yes it's a china variant (TA-1099) with Global ROM.

My guess is, they must be validating the IMEI to see if it is a device shipped with global ROM or not.
There is an OTA zip link in https://forum.xda-developers.com/android/general/nokia-x6-6-1-plus-software-info-t3832796
You can try that method once.

This requires root though, and I have the September patch which means I cannot unlock the bootloader anymore.

Do you want to say the phones with the model's number TA-1099 and the "global ROM" are official? Is the TA-1099 model not the Chinese version and is not only for China market?
Does the pure China version(TA-1099 model, that is for China market and with the original China ROM) have the same Pie beta update's offer?
I think all 1099s are Chinese versions that manually installed unofficial naked android.
My nokia 6.1 plus model is TA-1083. Can I get the andriod Pie upgrade

Beta labs is closed for this device now, so I don't think I will be able to capture that link.
Edit :I am on stable update now.

Yes, most of the people seems to have got it
i wanted to downgrade my android version from 9 to 8 or 8.1... How can I do that without PC?
Hey. I got Pie yesterday.
Not bad. Annoyingly it seems to handle Bluetooth differently, so my Fitbit stopped working, and I had to re-pair it.
And the screen auto-brightness dims too far sometimes.
Otherwise, nice & stable.
@Sceint okay guys,
I succeeded with converting the v3.38 OTA package by payload_dumper.py into fastboot-flashable images
and uploaded the whole package plus cmd. > https://mega.nz/#!TahAQApb!guFwQxAbA3Vms2gh7x6VOvdDs8WvcrkPgiuHQW

Does anybody got VoLTE working with any ROM?
I am on AT&T and AT&T turned off GSM for voice calls and requires VoLTE for LTE. I tried a few ROMs and so far none has VoLTE working. I tried:
MUIU 11.0.4 (Android 9) - doesn't have VoLTE implemented
LOS 17.1 (Android 10) latest build from 20210323 - doesn't have VoLTE implemented. Hacking /system/build.props didn't work
Cipher OS 3.0 (64 bit Android 12) + 0.6 vendor has VoLTE but it is broken. *#*#4636#*#* shows VoLTE provisioned, etc but anytime I am trying to make a call using LTE as network type voice call fail. I still could make calls using WCDMA but then my data is limited to 4G. /vendor/overlay VoLTE fix doesn't seem to work.
OctaviOS 3.4 (32 bit Android 12) + 0.4 vendor has VoLTE but it is broken similarly to Cipher OS 3.0. *#*#4636#*#* shows VoLTE provisioned, but unlike Cipher OS 3.0 buttons are grayed out.
Wulan17 ROMs https://www.pling.com/p/1426249/? Seems to be similar to OctaviOS (at least they too require 0.4-vendor + Magisk in order to boot not into Fastboot). Anybody has any experience with those?
Hello friends, I use the device and it does not show me VOLTE, I solved it with the magisk module, it activates the buttons to activate the service and then I select the company profile using the PDC program (it is the same as the volte and vowifi activation of the oneplus 6)
The problem I have is that the change is not permanent, when I restart the cell phone the unwanted profile returns without VOLTE.
Delete the Oversea-Commercial_DS profile but even after reboot the changes are not permanent.
What can you recommend me to solve the problem of activating VOLTE in unsupported countries (which do not have a factory profile)
I clarify to activate I followed the tutorial here

I have a nord n10 that i got from tmobile that has unlocked bootloader and is running android 13 gsi the evolutionx version. No matter what gsi I flash it only has an option between 3g and lte, but lte does not work. It shows that its currently on tmobile edge where only messages and calling works. Anyone know a fix to make the lte work?
Did you try that: go into Settings, Phh Treble Settings, IMS features,Install IMS APK for Qualcomm vendor, Reboot the device, Go back to IMS features and request IMS network, and Create IMS APN.
what do I do once I create ims apn.
