Hello
I didn't find it with search.
I just bought the Note 5, and am still on stock version.
Phone version : Android 8.1.0 MIUI 10.2.1.0
On Gmail with other phones, I could set a personnalised sound for a new mail, like we can do for a SMS or phone-call.
But here i can't anymore, all the guides I found describe an option where you can select a file, but I just have sound on/off without any possibility to change it, and it's default notification sound, so i can't change it because i don't want this particuliar sound for every notifications...
Am i clear in what I say ?
Do you know if it's MIUI which has changed this option ?
Thank you for your help.

Thanks for helping, but ...
I have in my google account parameters a part with notifications options :
- Notification : all / high priority only / none
- reception box notifications : activate "check/uncheck" - and - Each messages "check/uncheck"
- manage title (wording) : i've got a list of all my wordings ...
- manage notificatins : display notif Y/N - moving notif Y/N - blockscreen notif Y/N - sound Y/N - vibrate Y/N - led Y/N
and none opens a choice for a file, i don't have your "personnalised sounds"
Gmail version: 9.2.3.235065705.release
it's frustrating not being able of doing something this simple ...
Sorry, it is in spanish, but this are my settings, on same release.

Here is my screen, without some options ...
That's odd! Maybe MIUI changes that menu. I'm using Xiaomi.eu ROM, so it can make the difference.

INTRODUCTION
This module was born to being able to change the dialer/contacts app typeface in latest builds of CyanogenMOD 13, which are bold and I don't like them. Hopefully this will help somebody else.
It gives you the option to select the typeface, and as any other xposed module, to show/hide the launcher icon.

@samkpo This is such an awesome module and glad I found it. Question, can you include the new contact letter font that is being used by Android 7 Google Dialer, Contacts & Messenger? Keep up the good work.
An Xposed module that lets you port some of the Android N's features such as the new Quick Settings interface, new notification cards design, and bigger recents screen.
Download the Xposed module "Android N-ify", activate the module, enable some of the features on its user interface, and reboot.
Some bugs I've encountered so far is that the "CLEAR ALL" button on the Notification panel doesn't actually clear your notifications but closes the panel instead. Also, the "Quick Switch" feature (double-tap recents button to switch to last app) is not working on the device. Maybe it will be fixed on future updates.
Tested on Xperia M4 Aqua with model E2353. May also work on other M4 models.
Credits to the developers of this awesome module
UPDATE: Disable "Change dismiss button" and reboot. This will replace the CLEAR ALL button with the stock icon and will make clear button function normally again. Also, I tried changing Double tap speed to 300ms and rebooted and the Quick Switch finally worked.
(SCREENSHOTS WILL BE PROVIDED)

Installed Apps
These *Apps, has nothing to do with the issue. I just added them here,
since I didn't experience the issue in Android Oreo.
No Issue: in Android Oreo
Default Launcher: Nova Launcher
Default Gesture: Fluid Navigation Gestures
Issue: in Android Pie, Random Blue Tint in the Task Switcher
* 9/10 consistency of Blue Tint every time I perform Task Switcher.
* I already performed Hard/Soft Reset, Wipe Cache Partition and Re-installion of Android Pie.
* Two weeks old problem now for this issue. Very frustrating to see the tint.
* Noticed in the screenshot; Left, the Blue Tint. Right Working fine Task Switcher.

EMUI version: 9.0.0

It's the custom launcher. All of them.
So the only way to get rid the Blue Tint is to use the Stock Mate 10 Launcher?
I really don't like the stock launcher.
For now, yes. For me it's a hit or a miss.
Thank you Sir.
I thought my device display is malfunctioning right after I accidentally dropped it one feet on the carpet.
noticed that 2 when using nova launcher but not in stock
I already inform the Nova Launcher Developers about the issue.
Looking forward for their response.
