Hi, im facing a weird problem with my P9 lite mini, when i use my headphones the sound from the youtube app is way lower at max than the sound from youtube opened in google chrome, chrome plays youtube videos with 20-25% louder volume at max than the youtube app, same thing happens with the default music player too, i instaled aimp app from store and is way louder at maximum volume than the default music player, this problem occurs just when i use my headphones and it doesnt matter what kind of heaphones i use, when using the phone's speaker the volume is the same on all apps.
What can i do to increase the volume on youtube app, is very annoying

I've met the following (very strange) problem when using Endomondo.
[Endomondo is a sport tracker and has a coach assistant that tells you the time and distance. Furthermore, before starting the workout you can start the phone music player by pushing a button in Endo's main screen.]
The problem is this:
1) If I use the default music player (which is internally called Connected Music Player - CMP.apk), when the time comes for the annunciation (lap time) both music and the audio coach are muted.
I can see that, during the coach notification, the phone volume is automatically changed to zero. After the (inaudible) annunciation the volume comes back to normal.
But using alternative music players things change.
2) Poweramp (trial): I can hear the coach notification. The music is completely muted during the announcement. Music's volume resumes after that. The problem is that Poweramp is not recognized as an alternative music player and I can't set it as the music player started by the Endomondo app music button.
3) musiXmatch (free): It works as I think Endomondo devs intended a music player to work. The music is not completely muted during the announcement but its volume is reduced so that it stays in the background during the coach notification, that is so clearly audible. The music volume comes back to normal after the notification.
After installing it, launching Endomondo and pressing its music button I had a dialogue box asking which music player to use (the default one or the newly installed musiXmatch). I chose the latter one and checked the "always do that" option. So everything is fine with this music player.
It seems that the problem is on the way Endomondo access the phone volume and how it affects both the music player (in the cases 1 and 2) and the coach's voice.
My question: does anybody know if there is there some (hidden) android setting that can fix this issue?
I'll up! your post as I use the same pair of apps, i.e. endomondo (pro) + power amp (full) both latest versions, but came across one more issue in addition to yours, maybe someone could help
I'm on leedroid GB running on htc evo3d gsm and found out that audio trainer behaves in a strange way: the initial sequence "prepare to start, free your endorphins" is the same volume level as poweramp music, but during interval comments (every 1km) music from poweramp gets much louder, as if endomondo caused music app to play at that high level. Don't know which setting might cause this. Endomondo is rather obscure when it comes to audio options, while poweramp just overwhelmes me
I'd buy a beer if there was someone who might answer your problem as well as mine..
well, Id like to know whether endomondo recognizes songs played by poweramp?
Hey, I've noticed that sound in Youtube app is quite lower than sound in music app. When I went furder to investigate the issue I have noticed that YouTube app does not respect any system EQ settings nor any other sound enhancements like clear sound plus etc. Sound from the music player is awesome and loud with good amount of fullness and richness, but in YT in some videos I can bearly hear commentary, voice is especially low in volume. I mainly am listening to YT vids on speakers but this issue persists trough headphones, too.
Is there any way to make YT app adhere to system wide EQ and sonys sound enhancements or is there an app that will play YT vids and respect system EQ?
Hello guys,
I was listening to music with the digital earphones that came with the phone and suddenly it displayed restarting, the phone restarted but sound has been messed up.
With the earphone connected the sound becomes very tiny and distorted like a broken speaker set.
But when I'm on the main screen for music player, it sounds normal. The moment I slide left to music list, right to lyrics or minimize, the sound becomes tiny, distorted and Inaudible.
Video, YouTube and similar apps are all distorted.
I tried clearing cache and data for music app without success.
I'm on BLA-L29 8.0.0141[C636patch01]
Digital Headset firmware 0024[0x0024]
I need help please,
Thanks.

Hello.
I have an LG G8x ThinQ (Android 10, LG UX 9.0). I have one major problem with it.
If I am in a Messenger/Discord call and I open an app that uses the media volume (eg. YouTube, a music player or a game) the second app's media will sound distorted.
For example in a game I can't hear quieter noises and the sound is really choppy overall.
Thanks to this issue I am not able to play with friends and chat with them at the same time.
Thank you for reading this post.
