Phone lock removal - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello. I'm wondering if its possible to make a phone copy files from the sd card to a destination on the phone while its booting so it has root permissions with some sort of custom code pushed to the phone via adb update for this to happen. I know something of the sort is possible but i may have the wrong idea about it?
My goal is to access a phone with a pattern lock on it by removing the gesture.key file in order to access the data. The phone does belong to me but i don't know the pattern to it. Any help would be appreciated.
The phone is un-rooted but does have usb debugging enabled.

Does flashmode/fastboot enable read permissions and flashing specific files

Soooo... Does flashmode or fastboot let you read the files? AFAIK whenever I have flashed a rom and selected format data, it selects a file called "userdata.sin". So I guess that the /data directory is being flashed over, without the ability to read the files.
However, is there a way to *just* flash the data/system/gesture.key(yup, you know it. Forgotten pattern and phone doesn't recognize username and password, tried multiple times)?
Another, more device specific question: The phone with me now is a 4.3 Xperia T. Whenever I connect it with my computer without unlocking the lockscreen, it doesn't allow access to the internal storage. Is that functionality something that can be easily bypassed, or is it a more "hardcoded" basic functionality that blocks even through flashmode/fastboot?

Pulling android app databases without USB debugging, ROOT or PIN code

I've been searching extensively for an answer though I couldn't find one.
I'm currently testing an app, which is running on from android 4 to android 7. I wanted to find out whether it would be possible IN ANY WAYS to download a database from the root folder without knowing the PIN code, USB debugging set to off and without root.
Is that in any way possible (Android 4-7)?
After that, since I'm pretty sure I have no way of uploading the files back in to the system, I'll do a factory reset, the PIN code will be removed and I will enable USB debugging re-download the app and replace the databases with the ones I've downloaded.
How should the pushing phase work out? Rooting the phone isn't an option.
Thanks a lot

Can adb remove a system file from a non-rooted device?

My unrooted Samsung S7 edge is pattern locked but I also set my fingerprint on it. Since I haven't used the pattern in a while, i forgot what it was but I can still open the phone with my fingerprint.
I read online of using adb to delete a gesture.key file however on mine it is a gatekeeper.pattern.key file and when I try to use adb to delete it, adb says permission denied.
my question: I don't want to root this phone or install a custom recovery. is there any way to remove or reset the pattern without factory resetting my phone? I do not get an option to reset using my gmail account.
Thanks.
If you can still access the phone threw finger print data why are you not able to go into lock screen and security and change pass key or it needs the puzzle and fingerprint to proceed

Without root you can pull files with adb, but editing or deleting them is out of the question. I've done what you are wanting to do before, but you have to have root or TWRP.

Copy recovery logs. Prove device was hacked.

I have a Samsung Galaxy tab s6 which I know to be hacked. I need to prove it was hacked. The person who did it, probably took my phone and entered in recovery mode in order to install malicious APK or unlock the phone.
I entered in recovery mode and used the option "read recovery logs".
It is hard to read it in the screen since there is no search option and the logs are long.
Is there a way I can copy these log files? I know they go to \cache\recovery.
I tried to access this folder using fx App, but I have no permission.
The tablet is not rooted.
Can I get these logs somehow using ADB in recovery? How?
Can I get these logs by rooting the phone first? Won't the logs be lost if I do it?
Is there a hint on what to look in these logs in order to prove someone inserted a USB drive or SD card and installed some .zip?
No anti vĂrus os detecting malware, but you know, this is not guaranteed to work or the spyware might have deleted itself when the spyer realized I was browsing for solutions. Do you know any other way I can prove I was hacked?

Accessing 'Medion E4504' (Lollipop 5.1) - forgotten PIN

Hello,
my wife recently found her (very) old 'Medion E4504' and now claims that it appartly has many important pictures and messages stored, but she does not remember the PIN.
I can boot it up normally, but of course without the PIN we cannot get past the lockscreen.
As far as I can tell, it runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop, developer options (and USB-debugging) are disabled and it is not rooted.
If I hook it up to a PC, it is recognized, but I cannot see any files on the internal storage, I assume because it is locked.
Is there any way to either bypass the lockscreen (without hard reset and loosing all data of course), or alternatively somehow accessing the internal storage?
I tried this, but it does not work, since I cannot paste anything into the PIN field:
Android 5.x Lockscreen Bypass (CVE-2015-3860)

Perhaps the phone runs on a later software version where this was fixed.
I tried adb, but when I adb devices when it is booted up to the lockscreen, I cannot see it.
If I boot into bootloader, I can see it in the list if I adb devices, but it seems other commands do not work, I assume because developer options and USB-debugging are not enabled.
Thus, this did not work:

Does anyone have any idea?
I would have thought that Android Lollipop 5.1 would be easier to beat . . .
I welcome all suggestions!
Regarding adb, please explain it to me as if I was a five year old, as I do not know much about adb.
Quick update:
I was able to boot into recovery and backup data on a microSD.
I now have two files: 'userdata_20150101_000026.backup' and 'userdata_20150101_000026.backup1', and am trying to figure out if it is possible to extract data from these files on a windows machine.
Sorry, if this is maybe trivial to some, but I am not a pro . . .
