I want to buy a used redmi note 5 but it has a problem.
When the seller lights on the phone, it asks for the pass of the mi account. The problem is that the owner has forgetten the pass and the Phone cannot be used.
If I buy it, is it possible to flash it and put my mi account on it ?

yesterday i was use my redmi 3 for normaly, but after my friends has update ROM via Flash tool i cant receive the signal or maybe worst my redmi 3 reject the sim card and there is nothing imei left on it, so thre is any solution about this?

I tried to flash with Combination file but got partition error using Odin latest version.
Combination File I tried - COMBINATION_FAC_FA90_A205YNDVU3ASK8_FAC_CL16165553_QB27394820_REV00_user_mid_noship.tar
Please if anyone can help me ? Any sort of help will be appreciated.

First, for what reason it's blocked? Do you tried to recover your account? Or with the box you can contact to support and then can help you to remove locked frp

I bought this from retail store for my Mother. I signed up with new gmail and after few days I did reset it and flashed with Open firmware as it had Vodafone firmware. But after flashing when I tried to log in It asked me previous info which I forgot and I tried everything I couldn't got it right So now I can not use any other account.
I spoke to Samsung, they said will charge money.
In that case, you have to see on YouTube there are tutorials, if it doesn't work wait and answer of someone can help, if not,you'll have to go to some technician and in a matter of time and at a cost takes away your account

Does anybody have edl authorized MI account? My redmi 6 bricked after the new update.
And due to lockdown no shops are open for service.
Please help me if you have an EDL authorization.

Hello, i just bought Xioami mi pad 4 for 150eur in europe, i have been told that its from England.. I tried to verify authetification on xioami site, but it says
"Thank you for choosing Xiaomi!
However, the device you purchased is not an official global version and user experience may be affected. Next time, please purchase the official global version of the device through officially authorized channels."
Can anyone explain what this means? I heavily use tablet for 2 days, and everything is great. Just curious about message..
Also can someonw tell me if ita instaled last version of system?

Mi Pad 4/Plus hasn't Global version. Only China version with xiaomi.eu like ROM.
Many China sellers use fake global MIUI as base system for sold devices. They unlock bootloader and install own rom. You can find some old posts about it and hints to replace this fake rom with any other custom rom or original MIUI. Maybe you have this rom in your tablet.
Xiaomi never offered this mi pad 4 official outside of China.
I have a new Redmi Note 12Pro+ which has the Chinese MIUI ROM (14.0.3) installed. Is it possible to replace this ROM with the international version? If the answer is yes is an instruction post available?
Also for those who might know is this the correct ROM as refers only to Redmi Note 12?
To switch from Chinese rom to global one you have to unlock the bootloader first , the wait time for unlocking bootloader should be 7-14 days .
Also your phone is note 12 pro + and the note 12 is definitely different both hardware and software wise

Updated my search and I think this is the right one.
unlocking the bootloader need a tool called MITOOL,this tool do not work util the phone login a account and keep 7-14 days.
