Hi all,
I would like to make a theme with my own animated wallpaper (in fact not really my own, it's an animated wallpaper from playstore).
The problem is: when I go to settints/themes, the wallpaper does not appear in the list...
Is there a way ?
Can you set pic as wallpaper from gallery?
I don't use stock launcher but can you press on home screen and select wallpaper?

Well, I can customize theme with a wallpaper from the gallery (basically use a jpeg file), but I cannot use an animated wallpaper (eg. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.matitechnique.LiveWallpaper_Traces_Lite), it just does not appear in the theme customization.
I have tried to set it manually, but the mate 20 just restore the theme's default wallpaper ever and ever...

Can't help any further, I've downloaded the app from the link and can't get wallpaper to show in theme app etc.

You're using an aplication. Of course it doesn't show in your gallery. Try making a GIF from that live wall, and try to add the gif. Otherwise i don't think you can do it. Basically you were trying to integrate an app in an app . Live wallpapers are apps, that renders a wallpapers, or gif's

You mean like Live Wallpapers? They are not really simple gifs... but one of the easiest ways to create one is with http://www.livewallpapercreator.com/

Animated GIFs are not by default supported in Android. It takes custom code to make them work.

I bought ssLauncher and when i select wallpaper i can choose from "Backgrounds, Gallery, Live wallpapers, Theme wallpapers"
Theme wallpapers comes with ssLauncher and I can add multiple wallpapers there but I can only select one to use for all screens.
I want a wallpaper for each screen, can I do it with ssLaunchers wallpapers thing? If I can how do I do it?
I know that there is a live wallpaper that I can download from market but if it works with the one that comes with the launcher then the other one is usless.

Alright, i want to change the default wallpaper that came with a Themer skin. Initially when the popup asked me which program to use to grab the wallpaper, I must have mistakenly chose “always” instead of “just one”, and now it just goes to Zedge every time I try to change a wallpaper. How can I change the default option for where to choose a wallpaper from? I’d rather use a photo in my gallery, or from a different album, not always Zedge. Thanks!

Hi,
Do you change the wallpaper by long pressing on the homescreen - Homescreens - selecting Change Wallpaper? If that takes you to Zedge, do this:
Open your phone's settings - Apps - All - Themer - Clear Defaults. That should help
I downloaded the Google wallpaper app, and lube wallpaper from the internet and when I choose a wallpaper the image gets zoom in a it looks bad, and there also some lube wallpaper that do not work and keep loading, also scrolling wallpapers seems that it does not work with any app or launcher.

Just download the wallpapers and then use the Huawei gallery app to set wallpaper. Then you don't get the weird zoom.
Hi guys!
I'd like to know how I can apply any Live wallpaper for both Homescreen and Lockscreen?
Whenever I try to select the option "Apply on Homescreen and Lockscreen" it only changes my Homescreen's wallpaper but not the Lockscreen.
I've installed Google Wallpapers first then the Pixel Live Wallpaper I've found from apkmirror

Could this be an issue with the Poco Launcher?

1.open themes app and set any video wallpaper to both home screen and lock screen.(If you dont have a video wallpaper search how to add one)

I actually tried that. However it was not working while I was on MIUI 10 Global Stable 10.0.4.0
I flashed HavocOS Pie now 'coz I've decided to ditch MIUI for a while for some personal decisions.
