Introduction
LineageOS 16.0 is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 9.0 (Pie), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device. The port for the Exynos7580 based devices was created by @Stricted and I along with many contributions from other people in the Android community.
All the source code for LineageOS is available in the LineageOS Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to LineageOS, please visit out Gerrit Code Review. You can also view the Changelog for a full list of changes & features.

Install the latest TWRP (Available Here)
Make a full backup (just in case something goes wrong)
Do a full wipe (Cache, Dalvik Cache, Data, System)
Download the latest LOS build and transfer it to your phone

To pull in new changes it is usually only necessary to repeat steps 5 - 7.
I have been leaning against my A3 for some time, but now I will use it again with this new construction, Congratulations @danwood76
Excellent Work @danwood76
Great work! Looks and feels awesome @ 1st sight. Will use it as daily driver and report any problems.

Everthing is working so far. There might be a problem with charging over PC's USB port as I noticed today. Connected to my USB2 port battery went to 0% while phone staying turned on. There was no problem charging it with your 15.1 builds installed. But I haven't checked background processes at that time. I'll do on next encounter.
Great work! Thanks a lot.

There were some denials related to usb and the power hal that are fixed in the latest release.
Hopefully that solves your issue.
Hi
Thanks for the great release.
Latest release has some unexpected reboots sometime, but other than that - everything's fine
Great work

I have to confirm this. Happened three times now while phone was on standby.
PS: My phone did not fail to charge via PC-USB anymore.
Right now it failed to charge via original charger. Re-plugging solved it.

Well, this file is empty. Or this requires root, which i don't have because of google pay. Is it possible to get root and then remove it without full wipe and firmware re-install?
UPD
Also - latest reboot happened after receiving a telegram message. Maybe it has something to do with notifications

Yes you need root to get it from the OS, you can try copy it using TWRP that usually works.
Is the screen less brighter or is it just me?
Hi,
Uploading a new release that may fix the random reboots.
The issue has been reported to me separately on Darios discord so it must be related to my recent kernel changes, hopefully these patches solve the issue.
Change list:
kernel: added some possible fixes for the kernel loop that causes the reboot bug

Installation instructions:
1. Make sure you have TWRP installed on your device to be able to flash the rom.
2. Download the latest build from the link above and copy it to a place where you can find it later.
3. Optionally download GApps for using the Play Store and other Google related services from here: https://opengapps.org. Choose ARM as architecture and 8.1 as the OS version. The size of the GApps package is upon to you how much apps you want to have preinstalled. Copy this zip aswell to a place where you can find it easy later. If you download it with Chrome or with the Google Drive App it should be by default in the Download folder.
4. Turn your phone off and press Volume UP + Home Button + Power button at the same time until the splash screen appears. Then your device should boot into the recovery. There you wipe following partitions: Data, System, Cache, Dalvik if this is your first install. All of your installed applications get lost by this. Your photos, videos etc. won't get deleted if you haven't ticked the box for internal storage. As the kernel also supports F2FS i would change the filesystem for the cache partition from ext4 to f2fs for a better system performance. Now go to the main TWRP menu, click on install and go to the place where you have placed your zips and first select the rom and then click on the left button if you have downloaded the optional GApps package to add another zip to the queue. Now swipe the slider at the bottom to install and reboot the phone to the system. The first boot can take a while and after booting you could experience some lags because of the GApps initialization but they should disappear after some time.
4. Now you have successfully installed the rom and you're ready to use dotOS on your device. Congratulations!
Bugs:
- VoLTE (isn't working on samsung devices and won't work anytime in the future too)
- Same as LineageOS 15.1

Alright then!
One more thing: There is a problem with low bitrate audio when recording video on 3rd party apps.
Thanks for developer, this rom is lite, I hope that the ROM will develop even better.
Wow, i was really waiting for this port. Battery life is much better than any of AOSP projects. GJ and big thank you for porting and fixing it.
Found issue of low mic in telegram, whatsupp and etc. danwood76 spent a lot of time trying to solve it and he DID it.
Don't know maybe this information will be helpful for you and maybe he will tell u how easily to fix it.

@Borduni is using a fork of my lineageos device tree so my modification to the mixer levels should already be included in his ROM.
Maybe there is a recording volume setting within DotOS that is causing the issue or maybe it uses a different mixer path?

Yes mic volume is ok, but in apps (eg. Snapchat) there is problem with low bitrate audio, same on danwood's ROM.
Can't confirm. Made some tests and it should be snapchat that is making the audio worse. For me everything is fine with other apps.
If you are facing any performance/battery issues or ui glitches like the status bar isnt working or the list of the latest opened apps isnt displaying i'll suggest you to wipe data, system, cache and dalvik before installing the newest build. The UI should be pretty fluid if you did it like that .

Introduction
LineageOS is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 9 (Pie), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.
LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. LineageOS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.

Introduction
LineageOS is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 10 (Q), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.

One thing I noticed overnight, before going to bed the battery percentage was 51% and when I woke up it was 48% which is something I have never seen on my phone, usually, it was around a 10 to 15 drop. But within 5 minutes or so the battery droped to 37%.
As compared to other ROMs the hotspot is stable and is fast.

https://github.com/FriendlyNeighborhoodShane/MinMicroG_releases/releases should do, but you can always manually install microg packages from https://microg.org/download.html
Progress update, got Note10+ full ril stack fully working on 8895 devices so no more mix and matched blobs which should generally improve stability and battery life when it comes to ril related stuff

Thanks for the latest update!
I meant which one of those packages, from the several on that page, would be best to install just to get gcam and various gps apps that rely on google services working properly?

ROM OS Version: Android 13
ROM Kernel: Linux 4.4.302
Builds are mostly ready for daily use, i had no major issues while testing but some lineageos extras are not implemented yet as its still eaarly days in android 13 development
Huge thanks to everyone who supported this project, helped cover the build server cost and got me coffee/pizza for time spent on development, This project wouldnt be possible without them
Also this builds come with full BPF backport to kernel which enables fancy new android 13 features like gpu monitoring
there were hundreds of kernel commits required to get this working on 4.4 kernel and it took quite a bit of time but new kernel will be used on future 19.1 builds too
You can find some screenshots here
Love you man for your great work.
