Lol dude, this is the kernel for our great rom builders to work with, it's not a rom
We have to wait for builders to make a custom rom.The idea is that we'll have a rom soon, because the kernel was released.

It has too few users for now, I think. It's not very easy to buy this phone in China, you need to wait until it starts to sell maybe tens of thousands of phones every time per a few days. That one of the ways Xiaomi makes profit, after all Xiaomi is a company which needs to earn more. (Another way of them is ads)

You can actually buy one and use it in English for a few days. Xiaomi won't let some users (including me, sadly) unlock the devices' bootloader unless you have your MI account logged on with your device for at least 15 days.
You must unlock your device's bootloader to flash custom ROMs such as a Xiaomi.eu's ROM with Italian localization. Btw the English translation of MIUI is not... Not very good.

Why you guys even use that? If you want miui, simply flash latest miui EU weekly 8.3 which is 30.3.2017...
If you are flashing that now, you are already a month behind...eu miui is atleast somewhat cleaned of crap that comes with global and chinese.
Use it if you want, but i think theres a better choice
I installed this update. Now charging takes very long time. 30 to 34 in 40 minutes. WTF. Any solution?

Its same stable, but its newest...and if which weekly causes trouble, just flash one before that and skip one version...but mostly no big bugs, because all versions are tested before... The point is stable versions receive OTA and are for people that dont want to upgrade frequently, dev. releases are more recent...

for a user like me who dont like updating frequently. which stable version eu can you recommend. im using 8.1.1.0 and im quite impress on sa performance. battery (sot) less heat compare to other rom.
Dont upgrade from 8.1.1.0
It is the best one
Battery life is I good in this build using it for 24 hours now

Bro I flashed official fastboot rom from official site miui kenzo by miui flash software via edl mode
As it is not available in india u have to go manually update like download file from official site and then update likewise I tried but it has no PLAYSTORE no GAPPS and most of apps are in Chinese language ???????
Since wileyfox phones are no more 'officially' supported, which also means there will be no more updates in the future, are we going to see any stable ROMs based on Oreo for wileyfox swift 2(x/+)? perhaps Lineage OS 15? Would be awesome to hear some good news from you guys!

I'm guessing you missed the news that Wileyfox has gone into administration. Official Oreo builds are seeming unlikely at this point, at least for quite a while.

I wanted to say that without the kernel source code, it will be hard to do anything. Just I use online translater.

A Lack of updates won't really turn your phone into a Shiny brick, also there is a way more active rom community over on 4pda
Ii myself have been trying to do a port of the newer version of MIUI in my spare time too, then you got VBCerobil who was working on an Oreo build for the Swift, but he has been busy and has not been very active here recenlty

As soon as they demonstrate that they are out of a "fork" of MIUIPRO rom it will be acceptable.
They have been reported many time in the past.

Not really fair, but It's a kind of parity...
Did you check if it is well encrypting at TWRP latest? Because I only found EU and Globe daughter able to well encrypt as it is mandatory for my peace of mind.

That was in the past! When the rom was good and had a lot of customization. As soon as they stopped copying miuipro stuff, the rom lost all customization.
The dev said it was because he changed the base rom to one more stable and that customization would come back, but he was never able to do it.
In my opinion, is not even better than miui EU. It's a normal miui rom with YouTube vanced and micro g installed. It doesn't make any sense to me.

It is stable as long as you do a CLEAN FLASH. I tried a dirty flash and device reboots every 5 min.

Normally, the kernel is shared across all 7 devices. But as the hardware ia different and the ROM is not tested on the 7T Pro, I don't think that it would work and I wouldn't do it.
Your only chance is to build it yourself or ask the maintainer if he wants to support the device.
Wouldn't think so because the phones have different partition layouts.
And why would anyone ever want to flags memeui?
