The charging current does not pass on average 250mAh - Xiaomi Mi Pad 4 Questions & Answers

Hello, a friend is having problems charging his "MiPad 4".
We have tested with several cables and several chargers (including the original 5V-2A), but the charging current does not pass on average 250mAh.
I'm sure it's not a ROM problem because it started to happen from one moment to the next.
I have tried several versions of Xiaomi.eu but it does not change anything.
I'm thinking that the board that controls the charge, where the USB-C port is, may have been damaged.
I'm looking for the replacement part but I can not find it (attachment jpg).
Has anyone had this problem or something similar?
Regards!!!

Hi, I had the same problem and I need to buy this board somewhere.
Could you find it somewhere?
Regards

can someone help me, I need to buy this board

Hi. My new Xiaomi Mi pad4 has the same problem!!! It's charging speed is very very low and the problem is not from charger and cable ( I have tried 5 different and original and working chargers and cables). I had to open my brand new Tablet and noting was wrong. I'm suspicious if this little board which has the type C USB has problem Since when I connect the Tablet to any PC it says that Usb can not be recognized. Can anyone help me to find this little board on internet?? Or any suggestion???

Actually, I have a weird problem.
The phone itself charges thru USB but cannot be seen by any OS, so it means that USB controller good for charging only. I have no idea if it is a software or hardware issue , but anyway.. I decided to look for motherboard, if somebody has, like spare part or broken phone. If, somebody knows a source for parts, do not hesitate to contact me.
try a new cable, some miniusb cables are supplied with some devices with no data link, and are used for charging only. that's the best place to start
C'mon, my friend..I already tried with about 6 different ones.
I have also an HTC Polaris which works as it should with this data cables.

[Q] Usb cable?

does every usb charger work on the s3 or do you have to have a special one? sorry if its a newbie Q, i need to buy a new one since, my last one(the one i got with the phone ) started burning. (literally)
Does anyone also know how to check if your charger is working properly? Like if a software in the android is blocking the charge etc. since i also have a problem charging the phone
I've used a lot of different cables and charges on my s3 and they worked all.
ok, thanks

[Q] SGS3 Won't Charge!

I know you guys have probably seen a thread like this a million times, but I know exactly what the problem is, but I have no idea as to how to fix it. The problem is in the phone's charging port itself, I need to get this repaired as after noticing that using the Galaxy Charging Current app, depending on the position of the USB cable, a different current is being supplied (all USB cables & Chargers wiggle around, they used to be held in solidly). Of course I have tried tens of other ways to find out what the problem is, and I know it's this for sure.
I'm based in the UK and I didn't buy the phone from a normal shop such as car phone warehouse, so does anyone know where I can get my phone fixed?
Thanks in advance!:good:

Not sure where to get it fixed but have you thought of buying a spare battery and charger? I have a separate battery and charger and hardly ever charge my phone directly with the charger. When one battery runs down I swapp them over done no waiting for my phone to charge

Charging problems

Hi
Just received my P9000 and updated to the new OTA 20160419 right away.
My problem is that I can only charge the phone once, then I have to do a power off to be able to recharge it.
I have tried with both standard USB charger, a "real" USB-C charger and QI. The results are the same.
When the phone is power-off the charging works as expected, so the hardware seems OK.
Anyone else seen anything like this or am I just the lucky owner of a defect phone?
Regards
Jakob
Sounds like a defective unit to me. Perhaps try first with another USB-C cable (see other thread on the dodgy cable Elephone ship the phone with) before sending phone back.
I would advice the same. Seems like a faulty device. First try using a different charging cable, I am pretty convinced that should help.
If not, its a hardware related problem I guess
I have tried with both other cables and with 2 different QI chargers. Same result. I have send a question to the reseller.
I updated my phone ....(elephone p9000lite ) few days ago and that was the point charging problem wosen .....24hours of charging only to give 35 %...plz help
Same problem phone had updates now phone won't charge unless turned right off can any one help

Charging only with specific one usb cable

So my phone charges fast only with one usb cable that i have and it is not branded instead a very out of shape cable (left one in photo)
I have other branded cables as well but it hardly reaches even 400mA but those cable charge other device pretty well but not my kenzo
Now i have tried different rom, different kernel , flashed thermal libs but nothing seems to work.
I also have a original sub pcb which was changed due to mic problem and changing to that isn't working either.
So what can be the problem ? is it the usb port ? or like anything else?
It would be great if someone could help me with this please

I do not speak English so I will turn to the translator.
Connect the phone to the computer, if the computer gives an error or does not recognize it directly, it changes the flex that goes from the motherboard to the sub motherboard, what happens is that to have a load greater than 400 mAh the tracks of the data and in my opinion that is the problem you have, the same thing happened to me and with changing the flex it was enough, if the flex is ok then change the charging port that also fails

Well the phone gets recognized and i transfer data regularly no problem with that but the issue is just with charging.
Still i just now changed the flex that connects motherboard and sub board and the issue still remains.
I guess i will have to change the sub pcb and see if that helps or not.
