Thanks for the stock bootanimation.zip file.
I'm on Colt 7 ROM (Android 11)
and use Root Explorer App.
Just do the simplest steps;
*Download one of the zip above (I download the 1st one),
In Root Explorer (or any root accessable file browser app) do these:
*Extract it, to get the file bootanimation.zip inside it.
*Find original bootanimation.zip file inside Root/System/Media Folder.
*Make it 'useless' by rename it into something like bootanimation.zip1
*Copy Paste the extracted bootanimation.zip file into that folder (Root/System/Media)
*Change the Permission of the file into RWRR.
*Restart.
*Done.
Hi, I'm trying to make a system application with link2sd and titanium and it doesn't work
Could it be a systemless root (magisk) shortcoming?
Make flashable zip /or magisk zip to push file into /system/app or /system/priv-app (for high privillege)
Requirements:
1. You must have non patched Luis kernel and copy to memory card
https://forum.xda-developers.com/tab-s5e/development/kernel-luiskernel-gts4lvwifi-gts4lvlte-t3977343
2. TWRP installed
When Magisk Manager prompts you to update Magisk, DO NOT direct install or bootloop as a result. Instead, download the zip and copy to memory card
If you did direct install and caused bootloop, just press and hold volume up and you will be on TWRP
You can reboot to TWRP
1. Flash non patched kernel image
2. Install latest Magisk zip
3. Reboot
I updated LineageOS, and now I have not root access, which I had with Magisk.
I'm installing Magisk and I need the boot.img. I don't know how to obtain it.
My phone system is LineageOS 16.0 for microG for the X00TD (Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1). How do I extract the boot.img for it?
Thanks.
Same as official LineageOS:
Download the ROM zip.
Extract "boot.img" from the ROM zip.
Transfer "boot.img" onto the smartphone.
Load the transferred image into Magisk and patch it.
Flash the patched image.
I have select and patch a file problem
