trying to update my optimus one 503 through the LG pc suite , i just got the damn thing 2 weeks ago by the way from duabi , it went into emergency mode while connected , tried to switch it on after i got no response fomr it , all i get is the lg logo on a black bg , and stays that way till i disconnect the battery , now i'm in egypt and LG support center here never even heard of android phones , so any help guy ,
is it possible to install the p500 firmware onto my p503 or will there be implications

Take a look on getting firmware with help of serial number (bottom of main post), than you get firmware, which is 100% compatible (it should be because it comes from manufacturer). NOTE: When I check it last time, it doesn't work for me, so please report if it works or not.
Than you turn your phone into recovery and continue with steps mentioned in how-to which janez87 already mentioned.
Recovered Bricked P503
I bricked my Chinese P503 by attempting to install P500 Euro onto it.
Using the process from the suggested thread above I put back the out of box Chinese P503 and its alive again ... all be it in Chinese.
don't worry p500 is compatible with p503. mine was bricked too trying to upgrade thru lg update.
i just dowload an original p500 firmware and update my p503 using the steps posted in this forum.

I have this phone, it's a great phone but...
I can't use my SIM card. I'm from Portuga and I'm Vodafone but always displaying a message "process.com.android.phone as stopped!" in a loop.

you can flash CWM recovery found at needrom site...search for s5 h900....read posts.....you will fin boot.img (patched) and recovery.img (cwm)....
flash those files with sp flash tool and then root using vroot.

Hi, I have this phone for a few weeks, I cannot use it though as the signal drops out almost immediately after turning phone on.
I have tried different sim cards and it's the same.

my wife bought Nordmende NS531Q dual sim smartphone. Due to some problems I came across I tried to flash a new ROM that unfortunately it was not suited for it so phone got brick.
I tried to find a proper ROM for it, but I got nothing on internet. Could some of you help me or at least tell me how I could find the "real phone model" (I'm sure Nordmende rebranded it). I guess it supports an MTK chipset.

I am from South Africa and bought it through the retail dealer so it is not an import phone. Anyways I wanted to root it and went through pages and pages on the internet and stumbled upon a ROM for the u971 at needrom but as I later found out it is the Chinese version which messed up my camera software. Tried everything to repair it eg. factory reset, downloaded the ROM again and installed again etc. I stupidly did not make a backup of the original firmware I had. I am desperately looking for help from you guys/girls as to where I can download the original ROM or with luck if anyone on here has the phone and can share the ROM with me please.

Did you get any solution with your camera i did the same didn't backup i dont even have recovery anymore only fastboot option

Hi i broke my phone but this worked the charm. while phone is off hold volume + and plug in usb cable that is already connected to your computer.
Phone goes into fastboot. now run the chinese rom cmd file and your phone is back to life

Hello everyone..recently i got a phone which is lenovo,but the model seem weird to me since i cant find it on google.the model were lenovo p8+.when i get it they say it was limited edition which i dont know myself is it were true..so can anyone help me..cause im looking for new rom.

-it say 32gb rom on storage setting but only below 1gb of rom when connect to laptop
-sometime it say phone root sometime not.
