Notch Notification Mod for AOSP? - Xiaomi Poco F1 Questions & Answers

Can someone make the mi-globe notification mod work on AOSP ROMs? I was waiting for official LOS 16 since autumn, so imagine my disappointment when I saw the notifications are as broken as they were in MiUI on day 1...

Cm 11 question

I like the simplicity of cm 11 but the only thing keeping me away from it is a feature. Why doesn't cm have lock screen notifications like other roms?I have seen that the latest snapshot has heads up notifications. Those are cool but I like the loscreen notifications. I know I can use another rom, but other roms have a lot of other stuff that I don't need nor use. For example Like halo omni switch and other stuff.

The best lock screen notification app I've come across is NiLS from the Store. Looks and behaves just like the built in ones you are talking about.
Some Roms just haven't yet included things like that because either they just don't want to or there not at that stage yet where they are comfortable releasing that feature
If you want to try a really sweet rom that does have them along with some other great features without being a total Kanger ROM I highly suggest the latest Vanir Commotio .
It's running flawless for me with Alucards latest kernel. Stable not one FC and battery and performance are awesome.

Android Pie new navigation bar for xperia?

Is there anyway to get the pixel 3's new navigation bar in xperia xz1 ?
Already updated to Pie
Model G8342
Build 47.2.A.4.45
I tested this new navigation system and I can understand Sony not to include it. But since it's new to Pie it would be a shame not to offer it as an option
Remember what they did with night light? Can we do something like that? Or enable them by adb
https://forum.xda-developers.com/cr...-apps/pie-xperia-10-10-plus-launcher-t3905699 here is a port of the new launcher which has the pile navigation bar!
I am using this (https://forum.xda-developers.com/android/apps-games/official-xda-navigation-gestures-iphone-t3792361 ) Navigation Gestures created by XDA and I am super excited how flawless it works with my Non root xz1 . I am using it since the first versions of the app and they developed it in a very successful manner no bugs now and I recommend it.
try the Fluid NG. I really like it.

Thanks ! Are the AOSP roms anny better than miui in your opinion ?
First time using miui and I kind of like it. Only the vibration feedback isn't the best wishes this phone.

Mi-globe is a modified version of miui and they have Miui 10 pie for our device. It also has less bloat and ads removed. It also has face unlock, wallpaper carousel, and fixed hide notch.
Aosp roms are fine. They are all basic android (no skin like samsung, htc, etc) and range in features from pure android source to massive customization options.
I have like MIUI since I first tried it back during gingerbread. Only thing I miss is the app drawer but have gotten used to using folders on my home screens.
AOSP has been a favorite of mine but i have to say that MIUI does feel nice to navigate and despite all the snappiness of an AOSP rom . MIUI provides many apps that i believe that are themed and presented better this way, although i prefer the google integrations rather than Xiaiomi ones with cloud and assistant, MIUI provides some settings and ease of use that i would otherwise not know that i needed or missed with Google. Point is: it's still fast, it has nice features and customization, don't like the Xiaomi cloud services or ads as i don't need another service keeping tabs on me.
Is the Mi8 lite global beta in Pie btw? I have conflicted results in my searches

Do you know the estrimated release date?
The 9.2.15 Pie is good. But I was disappointed to see Camera2 Api still as Legacy even with Redmi Note 7 coming as Full.

Pie Theme

Hi,
I was kind of planning of jumping into a PIE rom, but i have noticed that none of the pie roms have the Theme as per time of day option in them.
All the roms that i tried have fiddled with this option.
Can anyone tell me which pie rom has this option?
