Since connection with Wi-Fi is no option in my case, I do connect my CMR-W09 with a rj45 adapter and a Lan-cable.
this worked until emui 9 was installed.
the adapter is detected by the mediapad but there will be no connection.
I can see that the hub has an activ line on my router. so the mediapad blocks the adapter and I don't know how to fix this.
has someone something to fix this?

Hello all, I'm trying to use a usb-c to rj45 lan adapter to connect directly instead of wireless for XZP but so far the one use (b elkin) does not work or I just don't know how to set it up in Android N. Any suggestion on one that would work would be great. thx:fingers-crossed:
Did you make sure that the adapter u got was compatible with android? I haven't come across one that is
Did you have any joy with getting the adapter to work ?
Regards,
Kevin
I bought another adapter from Amazon - Smays 3 Port 3.0 Hub and USB 3.0 to Gigabit Ethernet Adaptor target Ultrabook, Tablet, IPC, and Motherboard Applications (Realtek RTL8153 Controller, Black), unfortunately it does the same thing. Christmas lights on the LAN but no connectivity. Other post suggest that Sony turn off certain capability that could make USB-C work the way it suppose to for LAN and HDMI. I think I would have gone with the Note 8 if not for the 4K and Tim the Tool Man like for chrome color. Arr ARrrr arr
Is there even any kind of USB-C hub or adapter that works with this phone?

Sony hasn't enabled a single ethernet device in the kernel config, of course nothing will work on the stock rom. But hardware wise, as long as you can plug it to the phone everything should work as long as you can get load modules.

Hi guys,
I wonder if it would be possible to connect my 8.4 inch m5 via ethernet. As far as I know there should be support for usb to ethernet cables in Android 6.1 (not sure with the version should be around 6) and higher.
Thanmk you for your time.
As far as I have seen in the forum people tried it with hubs but weren't successful. Same story as the hdmi output :/
Yes you can, I've tried usb Ethernet adapter connected with type-c OTG and the tablet happily connected to the wired network (WiFi off).
That's nice to hear. Thanks
I've tried usb Ethernet adapter connected with adapter USB <-> microUSB <-> typeC, did not work.
WoW!
Now it's working with Total Commander!
Just received a Mi Box, updated to Oreo and installed an RJ45 to USB3 adapter. So I thought it would be ok to turn the WiFi off however everything stopped working.
Firstly is it possible to use an RJ45 adapter with the Mi Box?
If it is, how do I ensure its working?
Hello guys,
I have Xiaomi Mi 10 (Model M2001J2G, MIUI Global, 12.5.2.Stable, Android 11 RKQ1.200826.002). It has USB-C connectivity.
So in the past I read more about USB-C to HDMI cable and I found an article which says my devices don't have so called "HDMI pass through", actually it is a feature but I can't recall its name right now.
So I decided to buy external video card in order to stream my phone through HDMI. I checked the internet and end up with this one: Display Adapter HDMI
I checked about the drivers and on the description of this adapter it says: "Support Android 5 and higher"
I have tested the adapter, and it seems to work fine with my laptop (USB connectivity), but when I connected my phone nothings happened.
Do I have enable something to get this working? What do I miss?
Thanks in advance.
