This is Excellent
This is excellent and very less space consuming...is it possible to have black background button instead of green? That may even look excellent.

My bad, I really sorry for messing up my question. My original request I intenteded was to have a black background rather than green. Your theme is blue foregound and green background.Request is only on theme not on button. Sorry for that.
So it would good if we have a themse with combination something like White Foreground - Black Background, Black Foreground -White Background, other two combinations are like both white and both black.
Sorry for giving you big request, but that themse would be something I haven't seen anywhere
-SeneoV
Ok i will come up with something like that combinations....thanks for idea
thanks...I will look forward to have your new theme...

There are many themes in the i Theme app, but most of the themes you must buy. So here is a way to install custom themes. The Vivo theme file is .itz
You must use ES file explorer to see hidden files. The dir to themes is long: .dwd, c, o, m, b, b, k, t, h, e, m, e, T (that the map where you copy the .itz file)
I was also looking for a dark system theme, but many themes doesn't work, because the Vivo Nex use a newer Funtouch OS version. I found one dark theme that kinda works, but it not a really a nice theme.
https://app.box.com/s/m1n4w35xnx3cuz7hkbfjivp2kdnbwyym
You can also mix different themes in the i Theme app.

costom skin
Thanks for the info!
This way I can make my all custom skin! Great!
Rename the .itz to .zip and open the file as such. You will find a bunch of folders:
> icons
> launcher
> preview
> wallpaper
Edit the contents to your liking, but make sure you keep original filenames and resolutions!
Where it gets interesting are the files in the ROOT directory of the .zip folder.
Those have no common filename extension and I cannot figure out how to open and edit them properly: Basically I have no idea what they do, but I think they are responsible for skinning the settings UI, making the lockscreen widgets work, etc.
If anyone has found a way to properly view and or edit those files please share with me!
Best regards!

Also planning to make a guide on custom themes once I truly understood how the theme files work.

Hi!
I am working on my custom theme, but it would be nice to start fresh from the stock one.
Where did you get the theme files? When I download them with iThemes, they disappear from the folder right after finishing downloading.

sorry my bad, got it working. But the app says I have no themes installed.
Furthermore it seems that the icon change only works for the stock apps.
Hoping substratum themes(even some few not the dozens that works briliant with Oxygen) work well with Funtouch OS.
I'm already using and bought 5-6 wonderfull themes by the way compatible with Oxygen hope some of them work with Vivo OS:fingers-crossed:

Here another dark theme that works, but Miui 9 Dark is still my favorite theme
https://www43.zippyshare.com/v/pwnb4K44/file.html
I am looking into the .itz files at the moment and will post a version of the Miui 9 Dark theme with more black in it (settings, dialer, maybe control center etc.) because it looks amazing on Amoled screens and saves a bit of battery.
Feel free if you have suggestions.

One Suggestion would be to make the text of the apps in the control panel white, because now you can't actually read the black text on the grey background.
Thanks for making a custom theme and sharing it. I'm looking forward to it.

I'm not sure if that can be changed by themes, don't see that changing when using different themes But I will try!
Ok guys, I've got something!
Basically the MiUI theme, but with a lot of black instead of dark grey (settings, dialer, messages, file explorer, etc .) and a transparent control center!
Sadly I could not find out how to change the text color for the recent apps in the control center. But maybe in the future.
Please restart your device after applying the theme, otherwhise some things won't be applied.

Hi,
Is this the same as the High Contrast theme in Oreo?
Or is it the colour inversion that turns colours into ugly hues?
Would you pls also let me know if it is a system wide one? Meaning dark notifications as well?
Thanks.

Installing and updating substratum themes are a chore which I would rather not indulge in.

It's not substratum theme. The stock rom has no black theme with black notifications, just black theme like the G8 theme from play store, with white notifications or the high contrast theme, also with white notifications. Substratum does not work for me, it's pain in the a** on pie.
im using mark benzce pixel experience dark theme on v30 oreo. i didnt do anything just installed app
and it has dark notifications also
same theme has different version for g8
and it has also dark notifications

Judging by the package name of the theme, I'd guess you are the Dev behind them. I have two questions for you
1. Is the Dual-Sim switcher themed too in black notification variant?
2. Is there an accent-color switcher somewhere ? If not, are there any color variants possible (I'd take anything non-blue for QS switcher - red, grey, orange )?

If you want a black theme for V30 on pie, this one works good, it does all notification in Black and blacks out everything. I used a few others, but are not compatible for pie so i went looing for one that did and found this one.. This one when you download, you press on the app and gives you the option pie or oreo (screenshot) then it asks for permissions based on each firmware and does its thing. It works, even on lockscreen and notifications everythign is black. Ill attach pics

Ooh? Youre the dev? I want to report that snooze option in notification (swipe right on notif and select the clock) habe dark text on dark background
Got my view 20 yesterday here in Holland, ran one update after the other , landed on build 9.1.0.230 and went looking right away for a compatible dark theme to get rid of that annoying white layout..
Tried a a couple of dark themes developed for EMUI 9.0 / 9.1 , quite buggy oln Magic 2.1.0, but at the end I think I found one quite compatible and looking great (just changed the wallpaper):
(Edited)Deep Black by Maurydes
Nearly perfect so far, only the 3 navigation keys/icons at the bottom in some situations are not really good visible, but then again, I am not that young anymore, needing reading glasses.
BY THE WAY, I'm not using the stock launcher, whatever it's called...
I go with - Nova P rime launcher - all the way and all the time, since many years ago...
Cheers
EDIT 4 aug. 2019
Another way , easier...
Just go to the Play store and run it.
Not exactly the same dark theme I had, but it's as nice and dark as... https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=emui.en.com.gpix2dark
Also, try this
Third party theme app to push various themes: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.deishelon.lab.huaweithememanager&hl=en
And follow the instructions to the letter.
The other theme I mentioned - DEEP BLACK V2 from Maurydes, you will find it also here : https://forum.xda-developers.com/mate-20/themes/deep-black-emui-9-theme-t3877187

You are NOT using the default theme.
Your problem is you are using the High Contrast orange theme.
Stop using that and you won't have orange.
There are other themes from developers you can download. Some are free, some cost money. Make sure you download the ones compatible with V30 Pie.

I was just differentiating between "default" theme and the selection of "stock" themes on the phone, as well as besides offering a solution (download 3rd party V30 Pie compatible theme, customized how you like).
I'm glad you found an acceptable theme. You probably found it before I even posted.

Go look for custom themes in Google Play.
If you have stock Oreo, look for LG UX 7 themes.
If you have stock Pie, look for LG UX 8 themes.
