F3216 to F3212? - Sony Xperia XA Ultra Questions & Answers

Hello, I hope I am right with my question. Is it possible by software from a F3216 to make a F3212? The hardware is the same, or not? And the partitions too?

Sorry to tell you I havent. Same say you can brick the Phone by installing another firmware others says that nothing will happen because the hardware is different meaning this Phone cant recieve the bands that is not suppose to. I dont know. I've read other sites seraching for a solution to this problem with no luck. I guess we have to wait till a custom rom that works.
The model you buy works best in the region it's bought in. Some networks will cross-over when in a different continent, but not all, usually. You can't add frequencies to the phone whenever you want, as far as I know.
I have installed a e2303 software on a e2306 phone and it works fine, but still has the e2306 bands.
Maybe in the future there is a way...

can I flash a different customized rom carrier in my xperia m4, or will it lock it?

Hi, my m4 is now working with 26.1.A.2.167 / R16A "Jazztel ES", and I wanted to know if there would be any problem flashing 26.1.A.3.111 / R12A "3 AT". Phone is not rooted. Will this lock the phone or brick it or something?
I'm kind of noob in this, but I managed to download that firmware from xperiafirm and to bundle it and to flash CyanogenMod roms in my old xperia V, but I was having second thoughts abouth flashing it because of this carrier thing and I wanted to ask first.
Thank you!
Sure you can flash it. Be sure not to flash simlock.ta too.

Z5 Compact E5803 SIM free want to install Ntt Docomo rom

Hi all !
I have just buy a z5 Compact E5803 sim free form amazon.co.jp
build version 32.1.A.1.185
And now i want to upgrade to Ntt docomo rom .
how does i do it ? is any idea for this
thanks so much !!
Short answer: You can't.
You bought the E5803, an international model, but Docomo version's model name is SO-02H. That means they have fundamental hardware differences. Unless someone makes a custom firmware that ports Docomo ROM features to the international model(which is unlikely), you're out of luck.
Thanks you

You are noob, but you can still read, and find all the information you need by yourself. For start, your bootloader need's to be unlocked, because there is no way to root Marshmallow on locked bootloader. Here is the link, you have all you need there.

My mobile model is E2363 and in that thread there is no method for E2363. That's my only problem.. I want the methods for E2363
You can use method for E2333. My phone is also E2363 (FTF India) and it's already rooted - work perfect with E2333 boot image.

Can the single sim version be changed to dual sim ?

Hey guys,
I just bought a German Moto Z XT1650-03 for a great price. But I just found out that this version doesn't support dual-sim. Is there any way to Patch dual-sim by flashing a Rom or something like that ?

I doubt that. I'm sure it's a hardware limitation. But, I am guessing.
Edit : I am not sure, but there's this thread, https://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-z/how-to/guide-to-enable-dualsim-singlesim-t3594529
No idea if it will help though.
Yes, it is possible , see my thread
