Hi. I have the lowest in-call volume at 20% level. I can't make it lower and in a quiet room almost everyone can hear my phone conversation. I tried different apps, some of them worked: they could lower the volume to 0%, but the effect lasted until reboot. Can anyone suggest a method how to lower in-call volume below that level?
I'm on Lineage 15, redmi 4x.

Hello all,
I am having a problem with my phone, If i put the volume high (max) the ringing getting loud and hearable, but then the phone speaker becomes too loud. putting the volume to middle eill lead to acceptable phone speaker but the ringing will be hardly hearable!!!
is there a way to set only the ringing volume high and keep the speaker von to middle?
hi i notice the same problem when you set your ppc to standby mode aka sleep mode.Try again without setting your ppc on standby mode.
There are two different volume settings with relation to calls/ringers.
Outside of a call, put the volume to max and it should ring loudly.
During a call, you can adjust the volume, and this will only affect the call volume.
Anyone else find that even at the lowest phone ringtone volume it is still incredibly loud?
It's just about as loud at its lowest volume than my SGS1 was at 3/4 volume.
Hi guys!
I may be an odd problem, but I want to lower my ringer volume even more. I have the NoIncRing+CR_LFB mod and am happy with it, but even with that installed I think the ringer is to loud. If I set my ringer volume lower it only vibrates. Is there any files I can change to get it even lower?
If it any help I have a midi-file as ringtone.
After rebooting the Note 2 and making the first call, the device sets the earpiece volume to a higher setting than what it shows in settings. If the setting is set to the lowest volume there is no way to lower it but the phone outputs at a much higher volume. This occurs only during the first call after restart. According to the forums, the Sprint version of the phone has the same issue.
i haven't experienced that yet however it seems like the lowest volume other than mute on the notification volumes is as loud as my nexus was on highest..
Hi,
I have experienced this problem years back when I had the Xiaomi Redmi 2 and now, I face the same problem with Xiaomi Redmi 4.
Problem Scenario
==============
The media volume of my phone is set to 50%. I have Dolby Atmos installed and the "Surround Sound" and "Dialog Enhancer" toggles are switched on. I am listening to music through a pair of Sony headphones, Sony MDR-XB450AP EXTRA BASS™ and the volume output is adequately loud and pleasant to hear.
Now, if I turn on the "Volume Leveler" toggle in Dolby Atmos, the output volume becomes very high, enough to damage the hearing. The volume slider is still at 50% position, but still, as if, some kind of enormous gain is applied to the output volume when the volume leveler toggle is turned on. It also happens for the phone speaker. I have to turn down the volume to 10% position to make the loudness of the output volume acceptable.
Any help will be appreciated. Let me know if you need anything else.
