I know in some phones you can reduce the screen resolution to increase battery life. Is this also possible on the Pocophone F1 maybe with the help of modules or something?

I have Question is it possible that powerprofile.xml is having wrong values.
I mean i have my Standard battery its 1500 mAh and there its set to 1290 or 1390 mAh sorry still brain damaged here from the booze earlyer xP and i googled some info all of other values are voltages which are used for screenon, audio, wifi, video and more.
And i saw htc desire which has almost same hardware using lower values but has the mAh off the battery set properly and extra cpu idle and wakeup stuff.
And my thoughts where can the dev's tweak performance/battery there somehow i am just wondering

it adjust the phone throttle to a bit higher,,,
i mean,, normally,, without one,, when you're doing something on your phone,,, and it hits about,, lets say 40 deg C,, then it will slow down so as to prevent it from heating too much,, but doing so,, sacrifices performances and you may easily notice a bit lags and slower framerates..
now,, with that thermal module script,, it allows your phone to perform at its maximum capability for a longer period of time even if it hits a certain higher value of TEMPERATURE,,, at the expense of heating,,

Thanks, how about this?
It removes ALL thermal-engine related files in your ROM, thus removing almost all of the thermal restrictions put on CPU, resulting in less thermal throttling, performance is better as well. The phone would got warmer and batterylife would suffer if you have too much running all the time, of course
The GPU rendering module just disable software rendering the UI via the CPU, nothing major

Did you switch it to a lower resolution after turning it off though?
I didn't bother looking at the video sorry but, reducing the resolution does help with battery life, just not in a direct way.
When you're just browsing social media or replying to emails having a higher/lower resolution does nothing, as its mostly the CPU doing the heavy lifting here, but when you're watching videos or playing games, lowering the resolution will result in less GPU usage and sometimes also the CPU, which in result would consume less power.
For regular daily use the resolution won't make much of a difference, but if you're someone who consumes lots of Netflix or HDR videos, maybe play games like Pubg, fortnite or whatever a lot, you'll appreciate the little extra minutes lowering the resolution would give you, not to mention the extra performance that comes with it, as the GPU has less pixels to calculate.
The same concept applies to computers as well, its actually what Im basing my explanation on, but to get a precise results you'll have to do some tests/benchmarks with controlled variables.
If you play lots of games or watch lots of videos, you might wanna have the resolution at 1080p, otherwise 1440p will do just fine, the difference isn't that huge unless you're constantly forcing the GPU.
You wont with normal use. But you will with playing games at lower resolution, not to mention having a better frame rate!
Dont believe it. Try to play F1 mobile racing for about 1 hour and you will see!
Hi Guys. I play Black desert mobile on poco and when I have High graphics the gpu usage is around 30% while the cpu is 25%. Everything is ok, I can't say something about that. The point is that when I set the graphics to max settings, the usage of the graphics card goes between 35% - 60% and the processor is around 35%. For this reason, I would like you to tell me, how much the usage of gpu affects the overall 'health' and performance of the mobile, if it matters at all . What I mean is, whether it is 30% or 60%, will it affect the mobile in general? For example, I can use max graphics all the time without damaging the phone?

Ok thank you. Are you sure though ? I mean have you checked if there is any difference between the battery power after and before playing for many hours ? Or with the performance in general? Because I can play sometimes many hours a day.
