Hi Guys.
Sorry if this issue has been covered in the forums already. I cant find anything regarding this.
A few days ago both my Galaxy S9+ phones came up with a new notification which said "Phone not allowed for voice". I read up on it and somewhere someone said I need to have them Rooted.
I found a youtube video explaining how to do it. I followed the instructions perfectly. The phone just keeps hanging on the "Samsung Galaxy S9+, Secured by KNOX, POWERED BY android" screen. I am able to get into the TWRP menu from here but I just dont know what to do or to install to get the OS working again.
Anyone that can help me out with their knowledge PLZZ?

This morning (2011may27-0700 PST [pacific]), I received my 1st ever update from T-Mobile for my Galaxy S 4G. It told me "Congratulations," you have an update! or something like that, then told me I wouldn't be able to use the phone for 10min, I said OK, it rebooted into a white screen, applied an update (with progress bar), and said "Update is Failed", and rebooted. Upon reboot, I have a "low on space" notification and it stays up there in the menu bar, above. I don't have any extra apps, and don't know what to do.
Can someone walk me through finding where the space is suddenly used up? I'm really going to need some hand-holding on this. Thanks
Can someone tell me how to apply the update? If I go to "Settings" -> "Software update", it says "no firmware". As far as PC's go, I use Linux, btw
Has this update worked for others? What does it update you to? 2.3.x ?
Wrong Section mate, you might want to try out the Galaxy S 4g forums, i highly doubt anyone with a vibrant got an update for the Galaxy S 4g.
-Cheers
crud! thanks! Will repost
so i hate this and its annoying, when i get a text the screen turns on, i had that problem on my galaxy s3 and was looking around and found a file to flash from the sprint glaxy s3 fourms so i flashed it on my verizon galaxy s3 and i was able to disable the screen on notification , i was thinking about trying that on my verizon note 2 but decided not to , figured i go here and ask if anyone knows how to disable it or know of any hack with out using a third party app please and thank you!
Can someone please help me? I just recently updated my Galaxy S4 for Verizon and am having major problems with it. First of all I can't connect to data, I am overseas for the year but was fine before this update hit. I can't connect at all but it shows up in the notifications bar but doesn't enable. Secondly my device keeps randomly rebooting when I lock it. Please help I need this fixed as soon as possible and have looked everywhere for a solution. I contacted the Verizon Support team on twitter and they told me to go into safe mode, but it did nothing to help. I've also been reading the forums for support of the Galaxy S4 Verizon and people are seeming to have the same problems that I am minus the data connection. I really need an answer to this problem or I will have to factory reset my phone I'm told. This is the updates name JDQ39.I545VRUDMI1 . Please help!

Other threads about the update suggested a master reset solved some of the problems. Be sure to check these forums before taking any OTA updates, any problems are reported right away so you know if you should skip it or not.
Hey guys,
I have a Samsung Galaxy S3 LTE (i9305), rooted, bootloader unlocked with custom rom (CyanideL 5.1.1-RC-19.0-i9305) and I recently wanted to try to watch Netflix on my phone. Unfortunately, when I start the app, I just see the Netflix logo with the loading circle underneath it for a long time (maybe a minute or two) and then the following error shows up:"Sorry, we could not reach the Netflix service. Please try again later (-9)"
Now the Netflix help page says this is a network/connectivity issue, however, I don't think that's the case here. I have rebooted my device, rebooted my wifi/router and it also happens when I am outside with a stable LTE connection, same error message every time.
Since I found similar issues in relation to custom roms, I thought that might be my issue somehow. I have found two possible fixes online, both of which leave me a bit dumbfounded. One frequent solution seems to be to delete /system/lib/liboemcrypto.so - I already didn't have that file, so no luck there.
Another thing that works for many people is to modify the ro.product.model entry. Mine is set to "GT-I9305", which should be the right one anyway, so I don't know what to change it to.
Would be great if someone could help me with this, I am out of ideas.
Verizon Note Edge - Reactivation Lock Problems (Legit Samsung Account)
Ughh, so I got my Note Edge, Had it unlocked and rooted running ver 6.0.1 (was originally 5.0.1) For some reason it would not allow me to turn off the activation lock even though it was legitimately in my account, I logged into account.samsung.com and verified it. Did a master reset on phone with no help. Next thing I did was delete the samsung account and recreate it. (Probably a huge mistake). When I try to use my account to unlock the phone I keep getting 'processing failed' I have tried every flash and bypass that I've been able to find with no luck at all. I've been dinking with this for over a week now.
Contacted Samsung yesterday and basically got a runaround response from them.
I still have the email stating the device was registered to me with this IMEI but it didn't help any. I have the original simm card and have done everything with simm installed. at first the OTG cable was working but wouldn't still wouldn't let me turn the lock off. Now it won't even pop up file manager when I conect the OTG cable.
I don't care how I get this lock off of here but can someone point me in the right direction for something that is currently working either through samsung or any other alternative means. Am so frustrated at the moment.
Same issue here. Help!!
Man, i cant beleive this isnt possible? I still have the phone sitting here because i have stuff on it i need. Anyone? Any solutions at all? It's not the google lock but the samsung lock.
What helped me with my note edge I found on technocaretricks website it is Samsung account bypass/reset solution for all models. Also watching a quick utube video or 2. (Sorry cudn't post links)
Hope it helps
