Hi everyone. is there any terminal trick to disable Power Button + Vol Down shortcut? My Gallery is full of accidental screenshots due to Power and Volume buttons being too close to each other. Very annoyed with it.

when you long press on the power button you get the power menu. If I push the track pad wake fix here:

I broke the capacitive buttons on my S3. Looking for the best software solution. Ideally a button remapper where I can assign the back button to the power button for back.Long press for power. Or even use the middle button long and short presses etc.

You'll need root to remap I would expect.
You could also enable the NavBar:

A simpler solution could be lmt launcher...which needs root access...or pie control from the play store...both apps use on screen buttons rather than capacitive

I'm unable to take screenshot with alpha. Palm gesture is really one tough process so I thought if any other way screenshot can be taken by using physical key i.e. press and hold volume down with power button. I tried using some 3rd party software but didn't work out.

You take screenshots by pressing power and home button together.
I have the need for when screen off double tap volume + button to launch the torch. Volume down. Does the camera and that's great. But I need to see annoy setting volume + to torch. My g6 had the option I can't seem to find option on v30
Probably because in the V30 they expect you to have the AOD on and use the toggles in the scrolling menu there.
I am a retard and forgot that I installed an app called key plus from the play store so that I could remap the hardware buttons and what they do when the screen is off. Worth a check out for sure. Love the suck launch my torch with double press the volume up button when screens kicked makes for a handy flashlight quickly and double press again shuts it off without ever having to touch for screen
